These folks treated my granddaughter horribly. She had some anxiety around her check-up visit. The exam did not go well. We decided to end it and try again another day. As we were leaving, older brother was given a toothbrush and a child's tattoo tab. Not little sister though. Oh no. I guess she needed to be punished for her fear. That's the way to make her next visit (to a different practice) more pleasant Millhopper. Good call. By the way - she's 4. Here's my suggestion (after 30 yrs in an elementary school classroom) - enroll in some classes and get a clue about pedagogy. Or - give up on the whole pediatric thing. You stink at it. read more

Dr Beaufait is a wonderful dentist that my kids do not mind going to. She takes time to give you a good explanation of any work that needs to be done along with a written estimate. I would highly recommend her. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. I was ill and missed one appt for my poor daughter. I called thirty minutes after the appt started and left a message to reschedule and apologized profusely. They never called back. I called 48 hours later and the receptionist was RUDE. She said I could go to OCALA for the other dentist that takes our policy??? They sent me a letter stating they would not see my daughter again because they were unable to charge my daughters insurance for the no show(shes on medicaid because she is adopted) and that our no show cost them money I was never even asked to cover the cost or anything, I even got a note from my doctor stating I was ill!! She was appalled as well. Staywell is following up on my complaint. I contacted the BBB and tv20. ADA and Florida Dental Board have been contacted as well. read more

If I could give this hell hole a 0 I would! We missed my sons appointment due to hurricane Irma and us evacuating. My daughter had an appointment today and they called yesterday to "confirm her appointment." We arrived 30 mins early and was told upon arrival that they wouldn't see my daughter today bc we had missed my sons appointment. They said my son is on their "do not treat list!" The inconsiderate receptionist didn't mention any of that when she called yesterday. I took off work today, my daughter missed school, and we commuted an hour one way there! Not counting the fuel that was wasted today. I would highly suggest going somewhere else unless you like sh*t customer service! read more

This place is the worst dentist I ever been in. You can't get a same day appointment even if there is a dental issue. When you call within business hours, they won't pick up. I would rather drive 100 miles to another dentist than go back to that office. read more

The staff is so rude and unfriendly. I searched for a month for a dentist accepting "2 new patients", so I stuck with them. The first day the receptionist snapped at me on the phone, and I was being perfectly nice, even grateful to find them. Yuck!! Then, my kids come out way too fast for what they supposedly are doing. It's extremely surprising. Finally, they WILL NOT let you stay with your kid. They take them and CLOSE THE DOORS AT THE LOBBY. It is very upsetting. We have asked and disagreed, and they still tell us NO! So disappointing. read more

My son has been going to Dr. B (as we call her) for the past few years and she has been great. My son does not even complain about having to go for a dentist visit because she relates very well to children and has a way of explaining things and makes them very relaxed and comfortable. She is a horrible dentist for children. My daughter had not ever been to a dentist, but was excited about going, after I spent a week reading books to her about it, and coaching her on what to expect. Instead of easing my 3 year old into the process, they went right for an x-ray within seconds of entering the examination room. No introduction to the doctor, or the chair, or anything to put her at ease. I told her that on her first visit, they would just count her teeth and look at them with a mirror, and maybe clean them. She was not expecting a huge piece of plastic shoved in her mouth (making her gag) twice. Since my daughter would not co-operate for this, Dr. Beaufait snapped her gloves on (no joke) and said in a very stern way, "Ok, now I will have to do this then!" and then told my daughter, (whom she had seen for about 3 seconds, so basically a complete stranger) "you are a big girl, and you better let us do this with your mommy now, or she will leave and you will have to do it by yourself." I was in shock. Just speechless. I tried to coax my daughter into doing it, but I knew this was a no go, because Dr. Beaufait was being so unkind and scared her. Dr. Beaufait then had me restrain her in my arms while she wrenched a mirror into her mouth and gave no kind words. My child was screaming when I finally snapped out of it, and said, that's it. We are out of here. I was so flustered and just in shock. I cried in the parking lot before leaving. She IS 3, this is her FIRST time at a dentist. All the work I put in the week before, preparing her and getting her excited about going was erased in 5 minutes of being in this office. Now she is terrified of going to the dentist. This woman charged us 75 dollars for a visit that lasted less than 6 minutes, terrified my daughter and left me in tears. It was awful. A hairdresser giving a child his first haircut is more gentle and understanding than this woman. She was just awful. Maybe you will think I'm high maintenence and my child is spoiled. Not so. If you take the chance and go to her, good luck. read more
