I got here at around 2pm and the place was completely packed except for outdoor seating. Great to see for a relatively new business. There is outdoor seating but it's in direct sunlight - not the best on an 80 degree day! There's a bar where you can wait for your drink and a cozy nook that gives speakeasy vibes. Service was friendly. There are a small amount of baked goods offered and according to other reviews, they do sell out! $7.25 (+tip!) is the most I've paid for a matcha latte in Astoria (with just basic milk). Also, would have been nice if I had been offered a mug to have the beverage in the establishment instead of assuming it was to go. Otherwise, great new spot on the end of 31st Ave!

What an amazing addition to the Astoria neighborhood! Millie's Coffee serves incredible Filipino inspired drinks. The coffee is delicious, and they have so many unique flavors that make ordering fun. We randomly stumbled upon their grand opening, and it was a great experience! We tried both the ube latte and the calamansi latte, both were delicious with bold coffee taste. We'll definitely be back!

Millie's is the cool, new kid on the block. Right by the Astoria boulevard station, this is a Filipino owned coffee shop that boasts a variety of unique drinks to try! They occupy a pretty spacious corner, with a good amount of seating, ranging from traditional chairs and tables, to hightops, to couches. The design is definitely more modern, with eclectic decor scattered about. There's even a designated spot to take a picture of your drink! With the free wifi, and laptop friendly environment, you see a good amount of people getting their work done here. The drinks are also tasty! I tried their sakura blossom matcha, which was okay in my opinion. The matcha was on the milkier side, but the cherry blossom cold foam was so good. I also had their OG latte, which is a latte with orange, vanilla cold foam, and orange salt, and that was phenomenal. Their speciality seems to be coffee drinks with asian flavors, which I'm super excited to try more of. All in all, it's a great place to lock in and get some work done, or bring a friend to yap with! The noise level is pretty moderate, so taking a work call or yapping with friends wouldn't disturb anybody. Definitely try out Millie's!

Astoria's newest artesian coffee house is Filipino owned and features Asian inspired drinks. The murals displayed inside the café are gorgeous and done by the co-owner herself! The art, plants, décor and overall artistic vibe are everything. I stopped by towards closing time and most of their baked goods were sold out so I only got to try their drinks. I ordered: The OG Latte ($8.50): espresso, candied orange, milk vanilla cold foam and topped with slice of dried orange Purple Crown ($8.50): espresso, milk, ube cheesecake foam and graham cracker bits. Both drinks were rich and creamy. We were told by the barista to try the foam first before drinking. This was such a great tip as you really get the full flavor profile and I enjoyed it more this way. The Purple Crown was quite good. The ube foam gave it slight nutty flavor as well as a pleasing purple aesthetic. For me, the OG Latte was the surprise hit. I'm not usually a fan of orange with my coffee but this one totally works. The fruit enhances the strong espresso and the pieces of candied orange gave it a nice texture. The coffee shop is tucked away in a part of Astoria that doesn't get much foot traffic, which could go either way. This could both be a plus and negative for them. For some this could easily become a hidden gem, a third space coffee shop. They're even planning to soon have monthly/weekly schedule of events and gatherings, which could help build a strong following for them. Definitely a spot I'd recommend even to try just one time.

Probably one of the prettiest coffee shops I have seen. It's spacious and beautifully decorated with antique furniture, lovely paintings, coffee related objects, and bright colors. Service was very friendly. I ordered a vanilla iced latte and it was almost $9 -- so it's a bit pricey. the coffee was great though.

Ya'll!!!!! Don't walk, RUN to Millie's! The ambiance is vintage, comfy, and artsy, with ample seating options. It's a great place to get work done, meet with your friends, or go for a date. NYC-based Artist, OG Millie, really did her big one with the decor and art work placement in her establishment. The mango sticky pudding is so damn good, I suggest eating it in silence. Lmfao. Now for the main attraction, the drinks: the manilla mist is so refreshing and delicious. I know tonic water and espresso sounds wild but the coconut sweetens it and the tonic gives it that sparkle that I personally love. Next up we had the OG latte and it was soooo fresh and delicious. Not my typically type of order but it was so good that I'd order it again. And we saved the best for last. The purple crown is delicious ya'll. It's creamy, not too sweet but sweet enough. The teddy bear is a delicious touch as well. Overall, you can't go wrong with whatever you order. The service is phenomenal. All of the baristas are funny, sweet, and knowledgeable of the ENTIRE menu. That's the customer service I like to spend money on. And the owner, Kamille, is the best to ever do it. She's welcoming and just super dope all around. If you're ever in the area, pop in and stay a while .

While passing by on a Sunday afternoon, I was drawn in by Millie's menu posted on their door (and a sign outside for free compost, which is aptly made from coffee grounds and orange peels). I was especially intrigued by the signature drinks and the unique cold foam options like tofu, cheesecake, and lychee cherry blossom. My first impression once inside was that Millie's is an inviting space, with a variety of comfortable seating options that makes you want to stay for a while. For today, I only had time to order takeout. Since it was my first time, I decided to try out the OG Latte (espresso, orange, vanilla cold foam, orange salt, and milk--I selected soy milk) and the teddy bear financier (I chose it because of its cute shape and face). The baristas there were friendly and welcoming. The drink was made relatively quickly. I took a sip of the coffee and foam before stirring up the orange layer at the bottom. It was nice and creamy. Once I stirred up the orange layer on the bottom, it added a nice sweetness and flavor to the drink. The financier had a crispy exterior and was moist inside. I would love to try out some other drinks and baked good when I return.

A new neighborhood favorite! In addition to being a warm, inviting & creative place with tasty coffee and treats, Millie's gets my fullest approval because of serving my to-stay drink in a real glass, with a biodegradable straw, and my snack on a biodegradable paper plate. Millie's is doing their part for the Earth, and that makes it stand out as special place. Their "OG Latte" was delightful!

Let me tell you why this coffee shop stands above the rest:…read more 1. They use quality beans. I'm a home barista and use Oslo's beans for my americanos. When I moved to the UES, I was worried finding a new local roaster. I've had bad experiences where the beans are too oily or something is off that messes with my usually grind size/extraction time. No issues with Oslo's beans. 2. They actually know how to make a proper americano. Every coffee shop takes a standard cup, puts in the espresso shot, and then fills hot water to the brim of the cup. This destroys the flavor of the espresso. You end up with hot water that tastes slightly like coffee. Oslo chooses quality over quantity. They don't fill the water up to the brim, so you have a cup with 2/3 of liquid; however, this is a proper americano. You can taste the difference. At other shops, I just get drip coffee because they don't know what they're doing. Oslo knows what they're doing. That's why I come here.

Unfortunately, it was totally bland and not large at all. The side sauce added nothing and over 30$ with tax/tip. For entrees, we shared the lobster pasta and the guazzetto di Pesci. The pasta was good. Reasonable amount of pasta but we would have liked some more chunks of lobster for the price. I thought the sauce was only ok but my girlfriend liked it. The guazzetto di Pesci was only fair. The sauce was lacking flavor. Also a very small bowl of broth with maybe 3 small shrimp and muscles, a few small chunks of fish. and two sad, tiny pieces of bread on the side. Since we were still quite hungry after the meal, we ordered the lotus chocolate caramel dessert. This was the only dish we really liked. kinda hard to mess up gelato though. It came with a hard outer candy shell and a very small cookie center that was sweet and delicious. Overall, an average meal at best that we both felt was lacking in taste and size. Won't return.

They did bring out complimentary bread, which was appreciated, though it felt like something that should be standard rather than a highlight. One item someone in our group wanted -- the octopus burger -- was unfortunately unavailable, which was disappointing, especially given that it was brunch and still relatively early in the day. That said, the dishes we did order were good and well prepared. The space itself is nice: the front functions as a cute coffee shop, while the back has tables for sit-down dining. Because of that setup, the vibe feels more casual, but the menu offers solid options. Overall, it was a good experience, just not a great one -- a decent brunch spot, but nothing that blew us away.
