I first responded to the text message with the word Cancel as shown in the photo as there was no further instruction on how to cancel. Then received a call back from Gayle who rudely explained to me that I should not have replied Cancel in their text and tried to explain to me how it was my problem of my "mistake" to reply Cancel. Something to do with their phone company. I'm really unsure how this was my problem, and I asked if she even wanted me to be a customer but was only met with rudeness and anger. After 14 years of using MDD as our groomer for our dogs (3) we received this message: MDD wrote, "We do thank you for your past business but we feel that maybe we should part ways. There is another Mobile Groomer that is in your area that is called..........hopefully that will be a good match for you". I wrote back to them, "Wow!!! 14 years we've been going to you and only once we had this scenario. Not once did I make an issue about how I had to pay vet bills because Louy or Benji were cut. We've been grateful to any staff member that has serviced our dogs, we've been generous with them to show our appreciation and I guess not even the fact we have three dogs at one location matters. I have heard too many horror stories about groomers and dogs getting 'lost' in others care. I don't have the facilities or motivation to bathe our 3 Goldens so I entrusted Kim to do the job in their well-equipped mobile van in our driveway. I couldn't be happier! They come out looking great with super fluffy bottoms. I don't get them cut, just bathed and nails trimmed to perfection. Love the convenience and Kim's customer service is top notch. read more

Used to be a regular customer who tipped very well for what was extremely good grooming for a time...a few months before they closed their brick and mortar, the grooming was hap-hazard, sloppy and completely disappointing. They were able to fit us in last minute. They were booked but had a late day cancellation and we were on a wait list.They did an outstanding job grooming our Maltipoo, he looked marvelous when we picked him up. They keep your dog cage free as long as it not aggressive, and they check your shot records for everyone's benefit. Prices were quite a bit higher than what we have been used to paying, which is the only negative here. read more

They never answer the phone. Never. It's really frustrating. I have tried to set up getting my dogs into there so I can wash them. Both times, I never made it because they never answer there calls. The one time they called me back later in the day. I have now called twice again, this time I got a nice text saying they missed my call would I like a call back, I said yes. It's been 40 minutes and no call yet. I'm sorry, I'm not going to sit around all day hoping I get a call back to figure out when I can bring my dogs in. I'm a patient person but this is ridiculous. You're losing business by not answering calls or taking so long to call back. Third time wasting my time on calls and waiting around. You lost a good customer, I have two bassets that need baths every 5-7 days. Very disappointed and frustrated. read more

We took our Border Terrier to them for a "strip". I found them on the internet here in Belmont when our groomer in Ballentyne changed jobs. Finding a groomer with the skills of stripping is challenging at best and in this case it was spot on! Bodhi got to play with other dogs in addition to coming home feeling like "The Velveteen Rabbit" as his rough outer dead coat was removed. Wonderful job and we will return! read more

Million dollar dog customer service is abysmal. The quality of the work is decent and adequate, which is why I have used them for years. However my dog has extreme anxiety and I always ask them to notify me as soon as her appointment is done. For many years they were very good at keeping her appointments short, until recently. The last appointment took 7+hours. When I expressed my displeasure at how long it took they told me, it was my fault for scheduling two services on the same day. Poor scheduling and poor time management is not the customer's fault. The groomer then went on to tell me, that she always finishes my dog's grooming before noon. I explained that that was incorrect, that the last appointment I didn't get her untill 2pm and that her statement also was false, seeing as it was already 4pm by the time this conversation took place. It would of been one thing to simply say "sorry it took longer than expected." It's another to argue and lie to the customer. Belittling, blatantly lying and blaming customers, is not how ones stays in business very long. Needless to say, I will no longer be using Million dollar read more

Sadly they lost a well established customer today. I've been going there for over 3 years and took my show dog to be groomed by the "certified" sporting breed groomer at 8 am with the understanding I needed him back by 12:30. Not only did they charge me an extra $10 for an express fee but his groom was horrible. Ears hacked and not fixable till the fur has grown back out. Sad when you're waking into a show ring in 3 hours. I've sent them 5 new clients, spend well over $100 when I go in most times. More than willing to pay this for a decent groom.This is not good customer service to a good client. A friend also went there recently and did a self groom only to hear the groomers talking negatively about different clients. DO NOT go here unless you want to be overcharged ,they don't call it Million Dollar Dog for nothing,and talked about in a negative fashion... read more

We love Million Dollar Dog! We were having our 1 year old German Shepherd and 7 month old Belgian Malinois groomed at another groomer when we decided to give Million Dollar Dog a try about 5 or 6 months ago. Our dogs have never looked better! I won't go anywhere else! I couldn't believe the difference the first time we had them groomed at Million Dollar Dog! Brittany does a fantastic job with them. Their ears have never been cleaner and their coats look great! All of the staff really love the dogs and treat them like their own. We always get a report on how they did and if there is anything we need to keep an eye on. I also love that they have a self-serve area where you can bathe your dog yourself. They supply everything, you just do the washing. I recommend them to everyone that has a dog! read more

But by experience is just as unreakustic as it can get . I thought this was going to be a great place but I was wrong so I'm going to tell and give My realistic opinion& explain my experience... I specifically asked & told the dark haired front desk lady that said she was a "trainer" what I wanted done to my dog and failed to do so , despite that, The groomer did a good job physically looking wise on the cut despite the mat I still found under my dog arm which tells Me wasn't too good of a groomer. it's easy to choose "as good as it gets" because my dog LOVES to get groomed at Million Dollar Dog- they have the nicest staff and the best part, as a dog mom, the dogs are not crated while waiting to get groomed. We were told at the end of the day yesterday that or dog Patches was not allowed to come back to Million Dollar Dog because he was now a liability This message was delivered by a staff member but decided by the OWNER. We have been a good customer there for about 7 years and spent quite a bit of money there. Patches is an older dog but was able to walk in and out on his own. He has not to our knowledge caused any problem there with other dogs or staff. We were shocked!! We are not people that complain about anything, We have always gotten along well with the staff there. My point is, what is this saying?? The dog doesn't deserve to get a bath and grooming because he is OLD!! I would hate to be one of her older relatives!! I guess the owner is not one of the 66% that wouldn't trade their dog for a million dollars. or she might be until they get older!! Love, love, love Million Dollar Dog Grooming!!! We were so nervous about having our sweet 14 year old Lab bathed after a really bad experience at another grooming facility. Our Katie had a wonderful experience here and we'll definitely be be returning for more frequent bathes. Since she has arthritis, and is on medication for age related seizures, Joanna suggested keeping her up front with her while she waited for her bath to help keep her calm. That gave us a tremendous sense of relief. When we arrived to pick her up, Katie was super clean, so relaxed, and very happy!
