After his first cut. I'll have them take more off the top next time.

Took my 5 week (=3 1/2 months for regular people) toy poodle puppy to Bubbles N' Bows on a Saturday, noon appt. time. Check in was a breeze. They just wanted to know names (mine and his) and if he had his rabies shot. They put a plastic tag around his neck, and I handed him over, through the check in window, inside. They put him on the floor in the front office to roam around with 3 other small dogs. I noticed it was a packed house and LOUD. I could barely hear the receptionist over the LOUD barking dogs. There were literally dogs everywhere! Some I saw; others were put away some where. What I gathered is that most of the dogs are able to roam around, until its their turn. Being a new doggy parent, I really didn't expect all of the chaos. Dropped him off at noon and he wasn't ready until 4:45pm. So if you're looking for an in and out type of place, this ain't it! But I was told that if I snag an early appt, like one when they first open, I'll probably only have to wait about 2 hours to get him back. I'll for sure try that next time. Overall, his haircut came out very cute and they did exactly what I asked for: Keep it short, but not shaved. Don't shave his snout. Round face. I paid $60 for a wash, nail trim and hair cut. All of the staff was super nice. They let me take before and after pics and answered all of my silly 1st-Time Dog Mom questions. This was a more inviting experience than his first puppy trim at the local PetSmart but it did take A LONG time. I'll be visiting again, with an earlier appt. to see how that goes. Gave them a 4/5 because it smelled, it was loud, and dogs were just roaming all around in the grooming area. I didn't like that. But I was please with his haircut, he smelled amazing and the staff was super nice.

After I made an appointment with Pet Smart and drove all the way there they told me they could not give my pup his yearly shave because he was matted. I immediately called Bubbles N' Bows and made an appointment for 2 days later. I arrived and check in was easy and seamless. They explained to me that he was matted so he would have to be shaved down and I was completely fine with that. My only request was by if any chance they could give him a Mohawk. When I picked up my pup he was sooooooo stinking cute! They did a phenomenal job. They were better than Pet Smart! I would have left Pet Smart paying a gazillion dollars. This was my first time coming here and I'll definitely be back!

My friend told me about this place because she brings her dogs here so I thought why not let's try it out. Thank god I did I love it here and so does my dog Gabbana. First I would just get baths now I get her a full body trim. Oh yeah for the best part...they let your dogs roam free so they aren't in cages

My baby pretzel loves going to Bubbles N Bows!!! She loves playing with the other dogs and always comes home looking beautiful

Was very pleased by our first grooming experience here. They gave my Yorkie the exact haircut that I asked for. Her floppy ears, tail and beard were trimmed to my specifications. She hadn't been groomed in 4 months bc I was reluctant to try someone different since we moved. Bubbles n' Bows will be our new place. I was pleasantly surprised to see her in the office with other dogs, playing. She usually hates other dogs. There was no sign aggressive behavior. Why not 5 stars? Lily was there for 5 hours and was done but I didn't get a call to pick her up. I called them, and then found out that someone spelled my last name incorrectly on her tag, so they couldn't find her right away. Staff was great, just a little chaotic, due to being busy. I'm sure our next visit will increase to 5 stars.

This is about a week after grooming after my vet cleaned it up. The hair follicles were infected and ruptured under the skin.

Took my Golden in for 10 AM appointment and it was almost 5 before they finished. Too many dogs everywhere. My dog got sick 2 days later and ended up in ER and then went to regular vet later. Spent almost $800 on post grooming skin infection of the hair follicles. Both vets said it was result of grooming. Poor dog was in so much pain he could hardly walk until he got meds. They initially said their insurance would pay. But now they claim they aren't responsible and will not pay. My dog has never had any skin infections of any kind. I will never go back and will definitely not recommend them!

We love local businesses!!! I used to take my fur babies to petsmart until I met my husband that owns a same business. Makes me realize that small/local business are also important. Since then I been trying to find the best local groomers for our fur babies. I'm glad was recommended this grooming salon! I been to at least 3 or 4 before knowing about this cute salon. The salon is an open concept, I love being able to see pups getting pampered unlike most groomers I been too. I love the decorations and how clean it is!! I also love how they got the packages(ask for pricing) and "Add-Ons" (with pricing) displayed. Since its summer and my wavy 18lb Australian Labradoodle puppy was over due for a hair cut. I called in and they got me in for the next morning. Which is very nice that they can get him in as soon as possible. When I drop off my puppy, I'm very happy that they don't kennel him up and put a lot of stress on him. Once he got to the other side all he did was sniffed around and started to play with other puppies! The staff is very friendly, professional, and helpful! They called me a couple hours after I dropped him off and is very kind and understanding that I won't be able to pick him up later in the day. I'm glad they let him burn out his energy before picking him up. He slept good on the way home. Overall I love the results! I highly recommend this grooming salon!! I can't wait to come back and take my Australian shepherd too! Thank you so much for the awesome experience!!! The Sowell Pack.

Pict of our pooch after trip to the Groomer! Lookin Good Louis!

No return phone calls, nor do they ever answer the phones. They need help, and I hear that they won't look for any. Not a good spot for older or smaller dogs because of the freeforall environment, but hey whatever works in Charlotte, because you can't find the same professionalism that you've had in other Big Cities in this country. If you do get in over here, ask for Heather. She's great, and seems to be very consistent.

I tried contacting multiple groomers and even mobile ones, but they of course would not just come for a nail trim. I contacted Dog Bites to see about their grooming and I have been able to contact them each and every time, to bring Rocky in when no other dog is around or if there is one, someone will hold the other dog in another area of the store while Rocky is the only one in the grooming area. Love that it will never be like a zoo in there since they don't have the space, nor do they cage animals once they are done. They are great with trimming his nails and we have never had to wait long! I highly recommend Dog Bites. They are fantastic and are very friendly! Glad we have found them and can positively say they are now our groomer forever!

If you're looking to strictly get your dog bathed/ deshedded prices are somewhat reasonable,…read morehowever DO NOT get your pet cut here. I should've listened to the older reviews, but gave benefit of the doubt given it has been a long time since last reviews. We asked for a teddy bear cut on our 6 month on Bichon and our poor baby came back with his nose shaved down to skin, his face cut severely uneven and his fur trimmed down very very short. We also specifically stated to not cut his tail and the tip of the fur is cut in a blunt end. We were also very clear we just wanted his face trimmed up and rounded out. NOT SHAVED. She also told us she was only going to be doing a scissor haircut for him so it would be an additional $15 only for her to SHAVE him anyways. I understand he's a puppy and may have been a bit of a challenge, but if you can't handle cutting a puppy either don't be a groomer or don't accept puppies. Keep in mind he has gotten groomed before when we lived in a different state and they were able to work with my pup perfectly when he was younger. As for my other dog who was only bathed and de-shedded he smells great and feels fantastic thus the 2 star review. Lastly, why is getting their nails grinded extra? Oh because she stated by clipping them with clippers it makes them sharp, idk about you but anytime i've clipped my dogs' nails they're never sharp. To be honest, just seems like the business is trying to find ways to squeeze extra bucks out of you. EDIT: Wow, never have I experienced an owner to flat out lie haha. Let me reiterate since, as previous reviews have stated numerous times, not sure what was lost in translation. We asked for a TRIM on his body, his tail NOT to be cut, and for his face to be rounded out. Not entirely sure where the owner is losing the reality on what was discussed. In fact she AGREED with us to go longer on his length. Yet she somehow decided shaving him was a good idea. Yes, he has been groomed before by a skilled groomer who had zero issues working with him. I can happily provide before and after pictures of his haircut. As for lowering the price on our lab pyrenees mix. He was originally priced at a higher amount given the owner was under the expectation that he would have a pyrenees coat, although i had stated he has the coat of a lab that's long. So yeah, the price was lowered because he has a lab coat. Now, if you want to charge client more because you cannot handle a puppy cut, it's best to not accept puppies. If you are slow and gentle with my pup he responds well to having his face trimmed. Needless to say, avoid this place. listen to the reviews. Owner should stick to baths only and retire the scissors. P.S. i went "public" because people should know what to expect when coming to this establishment. a choppy haircut not worth more than $10. Quite honestly, this is just the work of a lazy groomer. Updated to 1-star merely based on the owners lack of accountability and flat out lying in a sad attempt to save face. Should've known to just walk out based on how spaced out she seemed when dropping my pups off.

Absolutely Horrible Experience. Do Not Take Your Dog Here!…read more We took our puppy to Modern Pet Salon for the first time because we heard they use scissors instead of clippers, which we thought would be gentler. It turned out to be a terrible mistake. We specifically asked them multiple times not to cut too much of her hair, especially since she doesn't like it, but they insisted she had too many tangles and needed a full trim. Not only did they ignore our request, but they cut our puppy twice, both on her ears--areas where there was no tangled hair at all. They even called us during the appointment to say she was bleeding. Later, they claimed it was because she had an ear hematoma and that they had just trimmed it. That was a complete lie. We took her to the vet, who confirmed that the injury was a fresh cut from grooming and not from any medical condition. She did not have a hematoma. They hurt her, and then tried to cover it up. They also asked us to use an old sock to cover the wound, which felt incredibly unprofessional and careless. Since then, our puppy has been extremely uncomfortable. She keeps shaking her head, clearly bothered by her ears, and she has been very sad and withdrawn. This is the first and only time something like this has ever happened to her. I'm beyond disappointed. Not only should they have never charged us for this awful experience, but they should not be handling dogs, especially sensitive breeds like doodles, if they can't do so safely and honestly. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Please protect your pet and take them somewhere else.
