I took my puppy to Bubbles and Bows and after I dropped him off they called me and said they could only do a puppy groom. His fur was already super long and I asked if they could fully groom him and they said no. When I picked him up he was in the office with huge dogs (he is 7 pounds and small) and he was in the corner scared to death. Then I called back 3 weeks later asking if they could please give him a full groom, and they said yes. I dropped him off at 10am, and asked if he could please not be kept with a bunch of big dogs and they just said "oh they're nice". Then they called me at 2pm (4 HOURS later) to tell me he had mats and they would need to shave him. I am fully aware that he had a small mat on his leg and a small one under his neck so I asked if they could just shave those areas, and they said no. I didn't want my puppy completely shaved so they said I could pick him up and brush them out myself. So not only did they not fully groom him the first time I brought him, they had him today for 4 hours and hadn't even started on him, lied about his mats, and suggested I just brush him myself and bring him back. I will never come here again. I also heard a groomer yelling at a dog that was whining "STOP IT!!!! IM NOT EVEN TOUCHING YOU" (in a super mean tone) Which I thought was highly inappropriate. And they never actually answer the phone. (I also echo the other review here - they let dogs pee and poop in the areas they keep them in and they walk all around in it) read more

They're horrible tbh needs to be shut down. They treat dogs horribly they leave them in crates for hours. No potty break. Then the ones that are loose they let them walk through pee so they stink when you pick them back up. Nails are clipped and jagged not rounded out. Place smells like dog pee like they never clean it up. The owner is never there and just backs up her rude staff. I would highly recommend going anywhere else but here. Took my 5 week (=3 1/2 months for regular people) toy poodle puppy to Bubbles N' Bows on a Saturday, noon appt. time. Check in was a breeze. They just wanted to know names (mine and his) and if he had his rabies shot. They put a plastic tag around his neck, and I handed him over, through the check in window, inside. They put him on the floor in the front office to roam around with 3 other small dogs. I noticed it was a packed house and LOUD. I could barely hear the receptionist over the LOUD barking dogs. There were literally dogs everywhere! Some I saw; others were put away some where. What I gathered is that most of the dogs are able to roam around, until its their turn. Being a new doggy parent, I really didn't expect all of the chaos. Dropped him off at noon and he wasn't ready until 4:45pm. So if you're looking for an in and out type of place, this ain't it! But I was told that if I snag an early appt, like one when they first open, I'll probably only have to wait about 2 hours to get him back. I'll for sure try that next time. Overall, his haircut came out very cute and they did exactly what I asked for: Keep it short, but not shaved. Don't shave his snout. Round face. I paid $60 for a wash, nail trim and hair cut. All of the staff was super nice. They let me take before and after pics and answered all of my silly 1st-Time Dog Mom questions. This was a more inviting experience than his first puppy trim at the local PetSmart but it did take A LONG time. I'll be visiting again, with an earlier appt. to see how that goes. Gave them a 4/5 because it smelled, it was loud, and dogs were just roaming all around in the grooming area. I didn't like that. After I made an appointment with Pet Smart and drove all the way there they told me they could not give my pup his yearly shave because he was matted. I immediately called Bubbles N' Bows and made an appointment for 2 days later. I arrived and check in was easy and seamless. They explained to me that he was matted so he would have to be shaved down and I was completely fine with that. My only request was by if any chance they could give him a Mohawk. When I picked up my pup he was sooooooo stinking cute! They did a phenomenal job. They were better than Pet Smart! I would have left Pet Smart paying a gazillion dollars. I asked for a sport schnauzer haircut. And definitely short and puppet like cut around her beard. It was nicely done. She look beautiful! Costed $50 for everything vs $67 at Petsmart! I am from out of town visiting my daughter and her dogs needed some loving. I took 2 dogs here just to get their nails clipped. The older dog Lucy they handled with care and the younger one Scrappy who was so scared they we're understanding and was soothing to him. My 2 female labs had been groomed at this establishment in the past. Yesterday, minutes prior to my scheduled arrival time, my 2 appointments were cancelled. The receptionist couldnt answer any of my questions why. Upon my arrival minutes later, she stated it was because my dog was ungroomable as per the last person who groomed her. No one said anything at her last grooming appointment or when I called to make these appointments over a week ago. Our previous groomer of 10+ years said she never had an issue either. Extremely unprofessional. Make sure to search the internet/ facebook town pages prior to scheduling an appointment. Was very pleased by our first grooming experience here. They gave my Yorkie the exact haircut that I asked for. Her floppy ears, tail and beard were trimmed to my specifications. She hadn't been groomed in 4 months bc I was reluctant to try someone different since we moved. Bubbles n' Bows will be our new place. I was pleasantly surprised to see her in the office with other dogs, playing. She usually hates other dogs. There was no sign aggressive behavior. Why not 5 stars? Lily was there for 5 hours and was done but I didn't get a call to pick her up. I called them, and then found out that someone spelled my last name incorrectly on her tag, so they couldn't find her right away. Staff was great, just a little chaotic, due to being busy. Took my Golden in for 10 AM appointment and it was almost 5 before they finished. Too many dogs everywhere. My dog got sick 2 days later and ended up in ER and then went to regular vet later. Spent almost $800 on post grooming skin infection of the hair follicles. Both vets said it was result of grooming. Poor dog was in so much pain he could hardly walk until he got meds. They initially said their insurance would pay. But now they claim they aren't responsible and will not pay. My dog has never had any skin infections of any kind. I will never go back and will definitely not recommend them! read more

We love local businesses!!! I used to take my fur babies to petsmart until I met my husband that owns a same business. Makes me realize that small/local business are also important. Since then I been trying to find the best local groomers for our fur babies. I'm glad was recommended this grooming salon! I been to at least 3 or 4 before knowing about this cute salon. The salon is an open concept, I love being able to see pups getting pampered unlike most groomers I been too. I love the decorations and how clean it is!! I also love how they got the packages(ask for pricing) and "Add-Ons" (with pricing) displayed. Since its summer and my wavy 18lb Australian Labradoodle puppy was over due for a hair cut. I called in and they got me in for the next morning. Which is very nice that they can get him in as soon as possible. When I drop off my puppy, I'm very happy that they don't kennel him up and put a lot of stress on him. Once he got to the other side all he did was sniffed around and started to play with other puppies! The staff is very friendly, professional, and helpful! They called me a couple hours after I dropped him off and is very kind and understanding that I won't be able to pick him up later in the day. I'm glad they let him burn out his energy before picking him up. He slept good on the way home. Overall I love the results! I highly recommend this grooming salon!! Brought my 2 small dogs there this AM for grooming! was told it would be between four and five hours! after five hours I called and they hadn't even started the one! before I scheduled them I told them my one dog was having a problem with his ears. He has a lot of hair in his ears and they're always red. I told them that the vet has requested that his hair be pulled out from his ears and they said that that would be no problem, however when they called me at 3:30 to tell me the dogs were done. I was informed that they did not pull the hair from my one dogs ears because they were pink. I was told that he had a yeast ear infection. I didn't know groomers had a license to practice medicine the whole reason for me to bring in there was to have the hair plucked from his ears. In addition, they charged $68 per small dog for the grooming, which is way more than any other place in town charges. I will never go there again as I think their quality of care stinks. It's more about quantity and money than it is quality. read more

Pros: - Very friendly business - Dogs are not crated, they have an open area Cons: - Haircuts/nails were as good as any other groomers we've been to but they messed up on the cut of one of our dogs a little, it seems like the second dog was rushed quite a bit, which is disappointing considering the high price point and excessive time spent at the groomer. We asked for one length all around and the ears and tail of one of dog basically looked untouched. - Overpriced. $240 for two medium dogs to get a standard groom is excessive compared to all past groomers we've had and the most we've ever paid by at least 25-30%. We're new to the area and the weather got hotter quicker than we anticipated and this place had the earliest availability so paying this pricing was a one time venture for us. As far as haircuts go we won't be back. Maybe just for nails if they allow that. - Communication/timing. We were put under the impression our two dogs would be handled simultaneously and that they'd both be ready within four hours of drop off, including that they said both dogs would be ready in four hours, which is comparable to any other grooming experience we've had elsewhere when they are scheduled at the same time. They were there for almost nine hours because they were apparently not worked on simultaneously and no one called us to say there would be a delay. We had to do the checking in and that was admittedly a bit frustrating given how substantial the delay was. One of our dogs is not good with the blow dryer and that is a very understandable delay I'm not frustrated about because that isn't the fault of the business. But if they were handled simultaneously it still would have been four or so hours instead of almost nine. It's the communication/setting of expectations that have me a bit frustrated. I would never knowingly want my dogs spending that long at a groomer. I would schedule them separately. Lastly, this is just commentary because I can't know for sure but my dogs drank water when they got home like they hadn't got water the entire nine hours they were there, which was obviously concerning. I assume there is water available and they didn't drink enough or at all out of the uncomfortableness dogs feel being at a salon, but on the off chance there was no water ever offered or enough to go around, especially given the schedule mistake that caused them to be there twice as long, I would drop this experience to one star. If you can afford the price, and ideally schedule your dogs separately, this could be a decent place for your next pup haircut. read more

I only used this place because they were recommended and we were in town for my Son's Funeral.We had a specific grooming appointment time, but they were busy! So they left our little pampered Maltese sitting in her crate for five hours before they started on her. She probably had no water or potty breaks, because she uses Potty Pads. She is never around other dogs and is afraid of them. They finally said they bathed her and she was barely blown dry when we picked her up. No real grooming. We paid the bill but did not tip at all. I have been a loyal customer for years. Dolce really liked the grooming care as did I that Laurie provided. I have referred friends and family. Today I called to find out the status of Dolce's grooming and was met with the most unpleasant and unprofessional person on the phone. She happened to be working from home and could not answer how long it would be for Dolce to be ready. Mind you, it had been 2 1/2 hours since I dropped her off. She placed me on hold and called the shop to find out her status. The woman returned to say that it would be 5 pm when she would be ready for pickup which is within their polic. I informed the rude individual that I had another appointment at 5 and would have to pick her up. When I arrived to get her, I was told that Dolce could not be booked again for service!! WHAT!! I am floored that an individual on the phone can end a long term relationship Customer service is NOT for the customer. I must also say the young ladies "in the office" are always a pleasure. But Dolce and I will find a new groomer where customer service is kind and Dolce is treated like a paying customer because she is!! read more

This was one of the worst golden retriever cuts I have ever seen on a dog. It looks like a five year old took scissors to his belly. It's extremely upsetting. Thankfully the hair will grow back. But I will never be going back to this groomer ever again. The staff was nice but clearly didn't know how to perform a "classic golden retriever" cut. I asked for them to express his glands which I can tell are still full. & I asked them to take off his winter coat which is still there. In total I paid $110 for a cut I could have done myself. We just moved to the area and I'm so glad we found this place! I tried calling to make an appointment, but because I couldn't get a hold of anyone the voicemail told me to text a number. When we came in for Ollie's grooming, there were so many dogs walking around and I love that they don't leave them in kennels. The place was clean and the owner told me a groomer called out earlier because of an emergency, so it will take a bit longer than usual and I'm glad she communicated that with me. my six month old golden doodle is due for his very first cat. He is a sweet dog and has never showed to be aggressive at all. When I took him to Bubbles and bows, they said that he was too playful and they could not cut him. I spoke to my dad, and he suggested I give him something to calm him down. Which I did, I followed all instructions. I dropped him off at Bubbles and Zoes and returned about three hours later to find that they had not checked groomed that they had not groomed my dog. As a matter of fact, he said that he was aggressive and attacked another dog and was now in isolation. well my question to them is why was my dog in contact with another dog during grooming. He has been around children and other dogs and never any problem. They asked that I never bring my dogs back to their establishment. And they don't have to worry about it I will not. I spoke to my vet and he said this was the appropriate thing to do. Because some groomers are just like that. read more

I know that every time I drop my dog off, I don't have to stress. She is in great hands- not only safe but getting lots of rubs from the staff and playing with other dogs freely the entire time.
