I've been here two times so far. The first time I ordered a Beet Salad and cookies to go. There was a friendly vibe and they were eager to answer my questions. The Beet Salad had chunks of Blue Cheese which kind of over powered the salad . Plus I'm used to the beets being peeled. I liked that the steak in the salad was cooked to how I like it ( A little pink inside) . The cookies were amazing! The second time I went was this past weekend because I heard that they were opening a little shop in the restaurant so I wanted to check it out. We purchased some maple syrup, curry cauliflower, pickled green beans, Truffle hot sauce and some flavored Olive Oil. I'm excited to give them a try! I ordered the BBQ chicken I wanted to see if it would be traditional BBQ or herbed chicken. The answer I got was a little hurried but I understood they were busy so I didn't mind. I ordered the chicken which was very tasty and moist. I usually don't eat all my greens but I really liked the tart aftertaste. I enjoyed the potato salad more than the Mac salad. I've seen the place, always wanted to try it out and so I finally did.... Walk-in, order and find your seat on the outside area or make it to go. The girls are very nice and the customer service was great! Food was good but a single person to pay $30 for pancakes, eggs, bacon and a small coffee is very steep. The food was good looking, want really any flavor difference other than the visual of poppy seeds and I just can't get over the tab. Millport is lovely. It's one of only the only places in South Bay you know you can trust the quality of food to be high. All of the food and drinks are well-thought out and made with love. No pre-made frozen/heat up nonsense here. Almost all of the pastries are gluten-free and also delicious! While SD may have some dedicated GF bakeries...I'd rather come here. 1000%. The staff is always friendly, knows about allergens, and makes sure you're happy with your food. One time, my daughter knocked my full latte on the ground, and one of the owners replaced it without me even asking! She also did not see my daughter as a nuisance, but treated her (and me) with kindness. Meticulous care is given to each item that is prepared. Her baby works alongside her, which speaks to the business values and ethics around mothers. ‍ Now for the food made from scratch with great care! Came into this cute little spot for breakfast. I ordered their sausage & egg sandwich. I found the sausage lacking in taste and moisture. It was crumbly and dry. I ended up not eating the sausage at all and just ate the rest which was tasty. My Goddaughter ordered the açaí bowl and really enjoyed it. She also ordered their chocolate s' more cookie & liked it! I took a taste and it was pretty rich! I enjoyed my lavender lemonade. Service was friendly, but not very attentive once food was served. We where ignored when we came in even though there was about 4 people and a toddler behind the counter. we waited to be acknowledged for about 15 minutes in the front of the line standing in front of the register so we got tired and as soon as we started walking away the cashier said, I can help the next person and sarcastically said "okay" as we walked away as if we where in the wrong for leaving this place. The whole family loves them! Yesterday we tried the pancakes and biscuits & gravy. 5 stars for both, kid and adult approved. Plus... how cute is the store?!? The service was great! I love the theme. Large portions. Great food. Plus, The entire menu can be made gluten free...just ask. I had an Eggy breakfast bagel (gluten). It was very large and filling. They cooked the bacon perfectly crispy on request (not burnt or soft). Their pickled onion cream cheese was really good too. They also specialize in gluten free pastries that taste just as good as the gluten ones. My boyfriend is gluten free and on a special diet and they were very helpful and accommodating (they knew the ingredients well enough to guide us). Lavender White Chocolate Chip cookie -- was really good too. Loved the Lavender taste in the gf dough The Vanilla Swiss Roll -- was Amazing!!! Best thing I've had there. Sweet & soft, fluffy and moist gluten free dough. Sprinkle thing (gf) -- was pretty good. Really sweet. Chocolate Chip Cupcake (gf) -- was not a fan. Didn't expect the cream cheese icing and not a fan of cream cheese icing. Also was dry instead of moist. Also, craving gluten free pancakes? Their gf pancakes taste great and fluffy. The cheddar herbs biscuit was extremely dry and whatever herb mix they use was overpowering, awful flavor. The sausage was flavorless, I took one bite and couldn't eat anymore of it. Gravy left much to be desired. Bacon was good though, probably the best thing of the dish....2) Pastry- Very flakey and tasty, I enjoyed it....3) Iced Latte- Also pretty good, it hit the spot. Everything on the menu is quite expensive, I wouldn't say it's worth the price. I have had several dining experiences at this "Hidden spot" here in Imperial Beach that have been beyond expectations. An impromptu 60th birthday party for 8 where all attendees had a variety of entrees with great reviews, and that group included mostly "foodies". Another time I had the lunch selection of the "Garbage Plate" which would easily satisfy 2-3 diners, comfort food that would have me dumpster diving for another round of that! The crowning event was their Clam Bake, and a group of a dozen converged to a table of abundance of an over the top New England Clam Bake without the price of a plane ticket to Martha's Vineyard. We went for the Saturday night Clam Bake and it was AMAZING!!! They first started with some delicious popcorn, and then came all the buckets of food right on the table!! Clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes and lots of lemon. It was seasoned perfectly with Old Bay!! They also had these delicious garlicky rolls!!! We stuffed ourselves silly! GREAT VEGAN OPTIONS! Visiting my folks who live in IB, we've been to Millport three times in three days. We've had the acai bowl twice (which was stellar and a very generous portion), and we took the loaded vegan sandwich for a picnic and it too was excellent. Brought my folks to dinner here tonight and it was outstanding. My wife and I split the Brown Bread + Vegan Butter appetizer, Nana's Salad (a spring mix, heirloom tomatoes, snap peas, cucumbers, and more), and the Vegan Neatloaf. Without question the best vegan neatloaf I've had from anywhere. Also had two of the Blueberry-Basil Lemonades which we highly recommend. My parents and grandma all loved their omni dishes as well -- and my dad is a notoriously picky eater. Service was excellent, COVID protocol was well communicated and considerate. Despite being in the patio the heat lamps kicked out plenty of heat; we were all very comfortable. Eating vegan when I stay with my folks in IB has been awkward for years -- it's so wonderful to now have a great vegan option in town! read more

I joined my friend here on the weekend and we shared sooo much great food. Thursday through Sunday the kitchen is open with a lot of great plates. We started with a White Chocolate Lavender Mocha (yeah it taste as good as it sounds) and a Hot Cocoa, because it was a chilly day in San Diego. Starbucks has nothing on this barrista! They were tasty and Instagram-worthy. We shared a Veggie Breakfast Bowl, with sweet potatoes, beets, carrots, an egg and mustard see topping. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the flavors made me feel good for eating healthy. But then the Raspberry-Lemon Pancakes showed up, and I decided to make it a Cheat Day! Fluffy and flavorful, and topped with pistachios. We also grabbed an Heirloom Tomato Sandwich, and of course we added bacon! It was stacked and tasted wonderful. The sides of potato salad and caprese salad had trouble competing at this table of food, but they really were great additions to the flavors. We had to try some of the pastries, so we had Strawberry and Key Lime cupcakes and a mixed berry danish. This is a great hidden gem, and the ladies running it were so friendly and helped us with our selections. Imperial Beach is a painless drive down south with a great pier and beach area, and this place makes a great start to your beach day!
