This place just opened up and I'm so glad it did!! It's just around the corner from us, so my roomies and I decided to go check it out. We ordered some cocktails and the pesto flatbread pizza which was delicious The venue itself is very comfortable and chic. Our server, Julisa, was also great - very personable. There's darts, ping pong, an arcade and plenty of pool tables so we played pool after we ate and also ordered some shots. Friends and I came to check this place out since we have never been before. The place looked pretty chill with the games and the way it was set up. We ordered our food and it was coming out kinda fast at first until some of us got our wings. Everything was fine up until we realized the wings were pink and a little bloody on the inside. So we decided to tell our server, since most ppl wouldn't be comfortable eating pink wings or wings that didn't look fully cooked... (right?) Let me start off by saying that we didn't even ASK for the manager or anyone to come talk to us. We just wanted to make them aware and have them make it again for us or just take it off our bill. THEN some dude (not sure if he was a server/manger/cook WHATEVER) did not even introduce who he was. Comes over to our table and asks us who had the wings, proceeds to tell my friends who had the wings .. "our wings are precooked and we bake them in the oven so they're gonna be pink in the middle still like that or bloody..." then my friend tells him but it's pink and not supposed to be... and then the manager/headcook/bartender/server whoever he was wants to continue to argue, push his point about the wings, didn't even apologize whatsoever.. which was SO unprofessional like bro sit down with that middle part slick down hair of yours and don't argue with the customers who don't wanna eat PINK WINGS! End of story. Like I'm sorry buddy but do you eat your wings medium or medium rare?? Neither. I felt bad for the server bc she was the only one tending to our table and looked overwhelmed. It would have been better if the guy didn't come over and talk to us actually but he had to ruin the experience. And ive read the other Yelp reviews on here so please don't try and respond to prove how your wings are cooked bc first of all PRE COOKED wings are "Not the best in the Valley". If I wanted to eat pre cooked wings I would have bought them at Costco , air fried them, and they STILL wouldn't be pink. Honestly a great place to meet friends or go just for a date night. Rates for tables are inexpensive and drinks are good. Definitely worth it to check out and by far my favorite place to play pool in Arizona. The energy is great but not too "clubby." If you love pool you need to go. It's not like didn't have time to clean from the night before. The whole place just has an overall tired, dirty feel. A fresh coat of paint and upholstery cleaning would go a long ways. I must say that one star is almost entirely because of the terrible service. My friends and I (4 people) came here yesterday for the first time. Two of my friend had arrived earlier and explained it took forever to get there drinks. As I sat down I realized they weren't exaggerating it took over 15 min to get a beer, I know because after multiple orders we decided to run a timer. Fast forward to us receiving our checks which had a 20% gratuity already added (that we were never told about) due to the bill being over $100 for our entire group. I have never heard of an automatic gratuity unless your in a large group of six or more. I brought this to the bar managers attention before we left and she proceeded to defend the server saying it was busy and there was only three of them and that the automatic tip was policy. That's when I proceeded to count the 4-5 tables in the restaurant and pointed out that half the people she was referring to were playing pool and most likely coming directly to the bar to get drinks. I've never felt so robbed in my life where you are forced to reward shitty service. We all agreed that the reason we were not taken care of is because she knew the 20% gratuity would be added. My brother and I went here on St. Patrick's Day. The tv display showed a quick glimpse of the Happy Hour menu. So, we pulled up the digital menu from the QR code on the table. There was no Happy Hour food listed, just a brief drink menu. The waitress wasn't sure what was on the HH menu either. She had to ask someone else. We eventually decided on the Happy Hour sliders (came with fries), Chicken Nachos, and two green beers. The nachos were great. But, the sliders were not cooked fully, they were pink and mushy. I had to send mine back. Even though we were sitting right in the line of the kitchen door, we had to flag a different waitress down. She took my sliders and said they'd re-cook them. I said that I hoped they were not planning on putting them back on the grill (ugh). Then she came back with a fresh plate of newly grilled sliders. Wayyy better! All-in-all, the place seemed like a fun spot to hang out at. Lots of pool tables, a huge bar, a retro game room, lots of tv's, and nice places to lounge at. Update to 3/31... I told my family about this place, so we decided to all check it out. About 10 of us. We sat in the area near the pool tables. There were no signs around that explained the prices for pool usage. Drinks were ordered, soft drinks showed up quickly, but bar drinks took at least 25 minutes to appear. Service was sooo slow and it wasn't even busy. By the time we were playing pool (TWO people at ONE table), the waitress finally came back. We ordered our food, I again ordered sliders - which again, also showed up pink and mushy. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. We had to go find her a couple times. Wasn't worth our $300 tab... Which, they automatically added a 20% gratuity to. $70 of the tab as for pool usage, for two hours! They said it was $6 per person, per hour. So, they charged 6 of us for two hours. 6x6 = 36 x 2 = 72. Ridiculous! Especially when only TWO of us were playing on ONE table at any minute. They said something about pool sticks being checked-out. But then again, no one was ever around to explain the pool charges to us. But still, come on. Only two people can play pool at one time. They took two pool charges off our bill. And then explained that they had just started a 20% gratuity thing that evening - for parties of 6 or more AND for bills over $100. This was not posted anywhere in front, or on the menu. $$$ BEWARE... I was there with a large group. Had 2 drinks and a sandwich. First, service was so-so. Camille seemed to be bothered and frustrated by our large group. Not friendly-only after she gave us our bill was her asking how was our meal. My drinks were a double with Diet Coke. She brought the wrong drink (with Red Bull) and seems annoyed that it was wrong. (I would never get that wrong I hate Red Bull). I'm okay with it being wrong-it was her attitude. So when I got the bill, it was $66!!!! All of us couldn't believe the super high prices (drinks). Fair enough, I know I had doubles, however $40 for 2 drinks! That is $10 a drink. UNBELIEVABLE. Then she added 20% gratuity. Which I totally understand, but because of the so-so service I had to pay $10 tip regardless of how my service was. The other ladies were upset at their prices too. In addition we had to flag her down several times to get things ordered. AND the place was dead-not super busy. I will NEVER go back there because of the high prices. I've been here a couple of times now, including for a group event. This is a super location with lots of room to spread out and mingle with a larger group. It's a lot of fun with shuffle board, pinball, arcade games, table tennis, billiards, jenga, etc. The food is great, with vegan and gluten free options. I value integrity and an honest bartending as I work in the industry. Furthermore, you have people waiting to be served at the bar and then the bartender is sitting on her phone at register texting or walking back and forth avoiding taking drink orders. This place has been well updated over the past year. It is very clean, modern with the best throwback music playing. The food is super good we got the club sandwich, chicken basil sandwich, and french dip with fries/onion rings. Definitley recommend this place to anyone who wants to kick back and have a good time.
