We decided to just go to the bar area. We had to ask how do we get a table started. The bartender told server to take us to a table and the server will be taking care of us. We played and finished up our drinks. Did not see our server near us. We walked to the bar to get more drinks and the bartender said our server should have helped us. We finished up our 2 round of drinks, still no server to get our food order or more drinks. So decided it was time to go, walked to the bar area to play and no one was in sight for 5 mins then they went to help others that came after us. I came here on a Friday night with my mom to play pool. Surprisingly it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be on a Friday (maybe because college kids aren't back yet). The inside is very nicely done and looks new. It has the feel of a more upscale billiards bar. There is also large sized connect four, jenga, and ping pong table. The billiards is by hour and reasonably priced. The server even stopped our time on the table when we ate without us even having to ask. The service was excellent. Stopped in for a late lunch while I was in town on business. Great looking interior with higher end finishes. Very spacious. Sat at the bar. Bartender shared that everything was pretty good and would describe the food as "elevated pub fare". I went with the Cuban sandwich and fries. Both tasty and a good sized portion. Thought it was pretty cool that if you buy an entree or drinks between 11 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday you can also play pool for free during that time. I remember when this place was "Freezers". They completely re-did the inside giving it a face lift. It's still a "college kid" type of audience but a little more upscale. You don't have to worry about seeing the game or the fight because the whole place is wallpaper-ed with TV's. I can imagine coming back with a group and getting an area with our own tv and couch to watch the fight. Overall it's a fun atmosphere and very comfortable! The food: we ordered tacos. Great location with lots of space to gather and lounge. This place has all you need to spend a night out with friends: TV's, sofas and chairs, arcade, etc. The food was excellent. My girlfriend and I visited this place today for lunch. It was terrible. She ordered a a flatbread that had 30 big chunks of garlic on it. This is a social club. Why the hell would I go here to order a flatbread with that mini cloves of garlic on it and try to talk to people? I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger that was mediocre was not cooked right pretty much was raw and they charged me $17 for it. The ambience in that social club is weird. It's trying to be a sports bar. It's trying to be a luxurious bar. It's trying to be a hangout spot. It's trying to be a billiard center. I'm not really sure what this places is? I was recently searching for a place to spend my Sunday and after a quick google search, this place came up, so I thought it'd be a great idea to go. I arrived around 3:30. For a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty empty, which is nice in some cases because it doesn't get too noisy. I was greeted almost instantly by Jordan who turned out to also be my server, and gave me the option to sit anywhere. The menu has plenty of good food and drinks! I had a side of fries which turned out to be a plate instead of a basket, which was fine by me since I was hungry, and I had the grilled chicken Caesar wrap which was delicious. I also tried the Georgia peach and the pitchfork which were equally delicious. As is the case with most places, they have QR codes to view the menu on your phone (or you can check the website in advance). Happy hour during the weekdays is also a thing, and I can imagine they're capable of serving a variety of other off-menu drinks you can grab from any bar, as the bar itself looked really well-stocked. The area itself is pretty spacious, with plenty of seating for both small and larger groups indoors or out, including some lounge chairs in front of a couple TVs for sports fans. There's about a dozen pool tables, a giant jenga tower, and a couple connect four walls, as far as I could tell from inside at least. I feel like these types of things are kind of becoming rare, so it's nice to have a place that features more of these types of games; imagine the drinking rules you can come up with while playing jenga. There's plenty of typical throwback bar music to go around. The restroom also has a restroom attendant (I assume the same would be for the women's restroom too) which is a similar thing to what many clubs in the UK have: they provide you with hand sanitizer and paper towels and you have the option to leave a dollar tip if you'd like for the assistance. The service itself was pretty good! It appeared to be a bit of a slow afternoon, and I was in zero rush, but Jordan did a great job checking in on me every few minutes or so. I can imagine the place will be more lively once the pandemic is over. A group of girls had a pretty stellar experience, as I could hear them say "We have to come back" as they crossed by my table. I'd have to say the same as well, and hope my second visit is just as good as the first. read more
