You get to know your neighbors, the people taking care of things, and the little details that make everyday life comfortable. Those are the things I appreciate most about being here. The river is one of my favorite parts of the park. Being able to take a walk down to the water or just spend some time outside enjoying the surroundings means a lot to me. The green grass, shade trees, and birds in the morning make it a pleasant place to start the day. I enjoy seeing people out walking their dogs and stopping to visit with a neighbor along the way. There's a nice sense of community here. People are friendly, and you can enjoy a conversation while still having your own space and privacy. Having familiar faces around is one of the benefits of living here long term. It's comfortable, and I feel settled here. Josh and Casey deserve credit for the work they put into the park. Keeping a place like this running takes ongoing effort, and I appreciate seeing the grounds and facilities cared for. I also appreciate being able to talk with them and being treated like someone they know. That personal connection makes a difference when this is where you live every day. Dan and Tiffany have treated me well over the years, and I'm grateful for that. The way people treat you matters just as much as the setting and amenities, especially when you're choosing a place to call home. The practical things make life easier, too. Having two laundry rooms on site is convenient, and I appreciate the clean bathrooms and showers. The location makes getting out for errands or heading onto I-5 easy, while still letting me come home and enjoy time by the river. Mostly, I'm thankful to have a place where I enjoy my surroundings and feel comfortable with the people around me. Rivers West has been that place for me for years, and I'm glad I ended up here.

There are two laundry rooms, as well as clean and convenient showers and bathrooms. The manager, Josh, and the maintenance manager, Casey, do an outstanding job of making residents feel welcome. They add a personal touch to their interactions with everyone who calls this park home, which really sets this place apart. Thorough background checks ensure a safe and friendly community, and even the overnight guests seem to leave with smiles on their faces based on what I've observed. For visitors, I highly recommend requesting spaces 1, 2, or 3. These spacious pull-through spots are perfect for larger rigs and are conveniently located closer to the boat ramp and beaches. As I always suggest, ask Josh for tips on the best fishing spots on the river. He's a great resource for finding hot spots for steelhead, salmon, and bass.

The webpage states monthly rent is $495 plus utilities. The utility charges are; $30 for sewer, $12 for water, $10 for cable (website states that is free), and $8 for garbage for a total of $556, plus a separate electric usage charge, and a $495 security deposit. There is free WIFI, but it's sketchy(typical), the bathrooms are older and could be cleaned more often, the showers require a quarter for about 10 minutes, the laundry room is fair, but that's it, no mail delivery here, no clubhouse or community activities. You get a pad and picnic table in each space but they are tight and short, with lots of obscure parking, and an additional car is $50 per month. I hope this is not the future for other parks, hope this helps with your search.

Seven Feathers RV Resort was such a great find and an easy, relaxing stay from start to finish…read more Check-in was quick and smooth, and the lobby, while small, had these incredibly comfy couches that instantly made it feel welcoming. Bonus points for fresh coffee ready at 8:00am and a cute little gift shop to browse. The amenities here really stand out. The pool area is spacious with a hot tub and showers, and everything was very clean. I especially loved the bathroom and shower setups. They're all private, single units, which is such a nice touch and makes a big difference when you're traveling. If you're bringing pets, they've clearly thought that through too. There are multiple dog areas fully stocked with supplies. I also noticed horseshoe pits, and a really fun firepit hangout space with ping pong and cornhole. It had that "stay a little longer" kind of vibe. They offer a laundry area which is a bit on the pricier side at $3.50 to wash and $3.00 to dry, but honestly, that seems pretty standard these days and it's convenient if you need it. There are also yurts and tiny cabins available, which looked super cute and like a fun alternative to RV camping. One of the best perks is the shuttle service that will take you to the casino or anywhere around Canyonville, which makes getting around incredibly easy. Overall, this place is very clean, well-maintained, and genuinely picturesque. It feels like they've thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Amenities include a swimming pool (noticeable chlorine), bbq area, small playground, pet areas and a space to enjoy a campfire and play cornhole, pingpong, etc. WiFi is sketchy at best. Thank you Ronald (grounds keeper - manager(?)) for sharing your knowledge on the history of the park. Thank you Jackie (shuttle driver) for the banter and fantastic music you played. You're a delight! Special mention: Those of you who leave your dogs *unattended in your RV's are totally inconsiderate! It's stressful to listen to upset dogs howling and barking and not be able to do anything about it. It would be great if the park staff would make occasional rounds to address this.

Thanks to Dean who helped direct us in because he got us farther back than I would because of a box in back. He was so kind and helpful!! We have been at Umpqua Safari RV Park for over a month now. The park is for long term residents so…read moreyou have less RVs coming and going. The park checks out new residents very well making me feel comfortable living here. The amenities are some basic like rest rooms/showers, laundry and, also, a community garden, fire pit and little lending library. The facilities (restrooms, laundry) are older and needing some updates but we seldom use them so not as much of a problem for us. The site rate is good. We have been lucky to have moved from the pull-thrus to the back area where we back up to an orchard which is beautiful and very quiet. There are deer in the orchard in mornings and night which is wonderful. It's just a beautiful peaceful location. The RV park is close to the Umpqua Wildlife Safari Park which is very close and a fun thing to do while in the area. We are enjoying living here very much. It's beautiful and the workers are excellent. The ones I have worked with (manager Kimberly, Tanya and Tara) have been professional, efficient and really hard workers. They keep the grounds kept up very well. The facilities are a 3 but the price and staff bring it to a 4 overall.

You can tell there are quite a few permanent people-which isn't bad but some seem to fill the site and use some fencing to mark their turf. The sites are ok-fairly long with room between. The roads were a bit bumpy and some mud and puddles from the winter rains.
