I really liked it here. There is an upper deck at the top of a staircase. Very high ceilings. Service was pretty good. The food was really good. Menu is rather small. Fried trout was very salty, but I enjoyed it. Crab Cakes were great. Fried Shrimps were HUGE! I got so many fries that I had enough to take with me for later. Only complaint is that I did not receive the fried scallops that was supposed to be included with the meal. I really liked the Turkey Noodle Soup. There was a basket of bread, crackers, and butter that I really appreciated. Blueberry Cheesecake was awesome. I respected the fact that the server admitted that all of their desserts are frozen. Men's room was a bit uncomfortable as there is no divider between the urinal and the sinks. Not good. Prices are very steep. I would go back. read more

The overall look of this place is nice. There's plenty of room downstairs and the upstairs has additional sitting if needed. We were able to get a seat immediately but was placed in the back of the restaurant even though the place wasn't packed. Our waitress was attentive and brought over menus and took our drink order almost immediately after being seated. After placing our order our food arrived within 15 minutes. The food was fresh and hot. While there wasn't anything in particular that stood out about the meal, I enjoyed myself. read more

It's been almost 5 years since my last review and Angie's is still a place I frequent. It feels like home! We recently hosted 16 family members for a holiday gathering and everyone saved about the food and service. We had one young lady taking care of all of us and she never missed a beat. She met all requests promptly and kept our drinks filled. Considering how many we had, food came out fast and it was devoured! I've recently had their navy bean soup, which I will get anytime it is available when I visit - rich, hearty and flavorful! Other entrees we've recently enjoyed - spaghetti all the way, grilled chicken salad, and broiled seafood. For breakfast, the blueberry pancakes are to die for - full of fresh berries! We were in the area for our daughter's soccer game and found this hidden gem one Saturday morning. The decor is old timey- very comforting. Reminds me of my great grandma's cooking too! This particular Saturday we had their breakfast. Eggs were cooked perfectly and everything had a ton of flavor and you could tell it was not so frozen and processed. Just today we stopped in after a tournament and had dinner. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and fries. The burger is cooked to order and is not frozen. The fries are fresh and hand cut! They were addicting. My boyfriend had the fried shrimp and fries dinner with the cheese and broccoli soup. That was some of the freshest cheese and broccoli soup we have tried. Definitely beats Panera! He said they were a bit over cooked but he also loved the fries. Bathrooms are clean and it really does give the home , family style, diner feel. It is easy to overlook because it is right next to a garage. Large parking lot. We look forward to going back and trying more. read more

Last Friday was my first time eating at Angie's. The food was plentiful and the prices were great. But most of all the food was delicious. The service was patient with us coming in with 10 people having separate checks. The restaurant was well lit, clean and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend it! I had a sampler with over medium eggs, cooked as ordered, 3 pieces if crispy bacon, as requested, and 3 very large pancakes with sugar free syrup, a requested.u boyfriend has scrambled eggs, kilbasa, home fries, and toast. He at ever bit and loved it Our server Erica was very good. She was personable, made sure our food was good, and checked on us at appropriate times. I took one piece of bacon home and 1 2/3rd of my pancakes home. The prices are reasonable also. There was nothing we would change. I highly recommend Angie's. read more

The food here is terrible. None of the food we ordered was good but some things that were really unacceptable were the cheddar and broccoli soup tasted exactly like a can of cream of cheddar soup with some broccoli sprinkled in, it was inedible. We ordered the fisherman's platter which lists scallops on the menu however I didn't receive any so we asked them about it the told us that they don't serve the scallops anymore they just add more shrimp which is absurd and unacceptable as they are completely different and not comparable at all. The shrimp was so salty it was inedible and the fish tasted fishy and dry. The baked potato had burnt bacon on it. The hours are listed incorrectly online. This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is good, reasonably priced and the service is excellent. They serve home style food like meatloaf, fried chicken and that sort of food. You know, the stuff that we love to eat even though we know it's not really good for us, but what the heck, we live once, so we might as well enjoy the journey. read more

Then the meatballs were so overcooked and not fresh that they were like rubber. I was tempted to wash it off and throw it against the wall to see if it would bounce back to me. The pasta had no taste, pepperoni was wayyyyy overcooked and gross. Shrimp had no taste. No one ate all of their dinner at all. And all the nastiness cost over $100 for crap no one ate. It was okay overall. I'd go back for their fries and their onion rings. The kids burgers were huge but plain. They don't have pickles. That seemed weird but I guess if you don't use them for much, it makes sense but my kids were bummed. The kids spaghetti is very underwhelming. It's a good amount for a toddler but not for a hungry kid. My 8yo ate again as soon as we got home. Usually a kids spaghetti is too much for her at other restaurants. This was about 1/4 the size of other kids spaghettis we've ordered elsewhere. It was surprising. We got the hamburger steak dinner all the way and steak sandwich and they were fine too. No complaints. The service was also good but not great. We waited about 20-25 minutes for food after ordering but it was busy. We only waited about 15min for a table. Our table was near a window and as the line got longer there were quite a few elderly waiting in line with no place to sit. It'd be great if they could add benches outside so they could sit while they wait. Several people in line had walkers. read more

For the last few months I've been having breakfast at Angie's most Sunday mornings before going to a class I've been taking. It pays to get there early, and by early I'd say before 10am. After that there's a line to get into the place. Service is quick and you'll get your drink order taken when you're seated. That means bottomless coffee. I've always found the staff to be super attentive when it comes to coffee and they'll often refill my mug as soon as it's empty. Angie's has a fairly basic breakfast menu with various egg combinations you put together yourself. Omelets, Corned Beef Hash, etc. Also they have a Specials board in the foyer as you're coming in. Always check the board has it has non-menu items on it. It's a chalk board so when they run out of something, for example: Biscuits and Gravy, they'll remove it from the board. They're a well oiled machine in my experience. They get you in there, get you fed quickly and you're ready to move onto your day. Portions and prices are in harmony as well. Pros: Fast. Delicious. Well..Not the best. Had lunch at 1 I don't know if that had anything to do with it. The bread basket is one step above wonder bread. I had the special fish a chips it was haddock and fresh cut fries. We also orders a loaded baked potato and salad. The fish was not dry but tough I think it was made for the lunch rush so I feel it sat under the heat lamp. If not then over cooked. The baked potato was not the best, it looked like they put the toppings on and wrapped it in foil then left it under the heat lamp for hours. Really strange was fries were stuck together, I think they were cut washed then frozen, so when they fried them they clumped. This seams like a place for locals not something you travel for, I will not be going back. Oh the service was good, but that's not worth it. read more

Good home cooking- I went for breakfast with a large party and they were able to accommodate us pretty easily on a Sunday morning. The chocolate milk was delicious (I love when it's mixed well) and my son said the hot chocolate was okay. The blueberry pancakes were okay but everyone loved the buttery toast that comes with most meals. The sausage and cheese omelet was very cheesy and good. My husband said the BLT was really good too. Stopped in for lunch (first time for lunch here) with my daughter (since she's off school today...) and the place was SLAMMED! Waitress said it's like that everyday! When she came back with our drinks, I ordered a Greek salad and onion rings and my friend ordered chicken tenders and fries (from the kids' menu). They have a fairly large lunch/dinner menu and I've heard their breakfast is great. My salad was filled with fresh ingredients and was big enough for an entree, even though it only cost $7.99. They do not have a Greek dressing, which seemed strange to me since there is a Greek salad on the menu, but the balsamic vinaigrette went very well with the salad.
