Ordered the burger and fries and the burger was very good but the fries were terrible. The fries were slightly burnt and soggy with a lot of salt. We got a hotdog for the little one. Based on the other reviews I have to believe today was an off day for them. Looking forward to trying them again soon.

Really cute place with fast and great service! It's all outdoor seating on a farm, which gives it such a cozy and charming vibe. They often have live music, and their fall Halloween drink menu is super fun. The food is also a great deal for the price. I got the carne asada fries, a few fries were a little cold, but it was honestly still one of the best things I've ever had. I'd definitely go back!

Located in the beautiful Greenbrier Farms, this outdoor eatery and bar fits seamlessly into the farmland around it. They have a super cute farmer's market right inside behind the bar as well with fruits, vegetables, peppers, and spreads. It was really nice to be outside and see all the plants, animals and pumpkins (which they have right now for fall so definitely go get some!) all around us. I also appreciated that they had a fly wind machine to keep the bugs away (if they don't have one on your table, definitely ask and they will give you one). Parking is on the grass right outside the farms and well posted all over of where to go! As for the food, I tried their little menu since I have just eaten and got a chicken quesadilla with fries. The pricing was not too bad for the food, but the fries were definitely not the best and did not see freshly made. Besides that though everything else was splendid! Drinks were from local breweries and well priced! Definitely will come back for the winter season and see if they do anything different/have different options!

Had such a good experience at the Hive Farm bar and grill! I loved historic greenbrier farm, but the fact they have delicious food and drinks is icing on the cake. I was there to pick strawberries and love that you can sample them in the fresh strawberry lemonade (plus booze). We had the pork topped fries! Life changing!! I recommend stopping for a bit to eat!

I had an AMAZING experience at The Hive! Let's start with the scenery. The seating is outdoors, spacious and you can enjoy the fresh air. There are tents and umbrellas to create the perfect shade. It is so beautiful! Staff is friendly and helpful. I love that they have really good food specials here. We got the BBQ ribs and Honey Sriracha Chicken Sandwich. The food is sooo good ! The Honey Sriracha had the perfect sweet and spicy flavor, it was perfect. I loved the chips that came as a side. There Jack whiskey lemonade and regular lemonade was tasty! I loved all the options they had on the menu. Parking lot is huge . You also can enjoy the farm animal area and walk through the flowers and trees . There's lots to do here than just eat, so be ready to explore and enjoy!

Adorable eatery located within Greenbrier Farms! Had brunch here with some friends and we loved everything about it. This place was family-friendly with a decent menu of savory wraps and sweet confections. There was a kids menu but also a fun, thematic drink menu for the adults. It was a crisp, fall day and the outdoor tables were perfect to soak in the sun. I had Ms. Bee's buttermilk waffles and they were DELICIOUS. The fresh peaches & caramel drizzle were the stars of the show. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was a more diverse non-alcoholic menu. With it being fall, I was really craving a hot chocolate/cider/fall-flavored latte, but all they offered was black coffee. Not a deal breaker by any means, but just something that was a little lacking. If you're making a trip to Greenbrier Farms, be sure to take the time to try out the menu at The Hive! 10/10 recommend!

I have been wanting to check this place and we finally made it there. The place is far from the parking lot. Expect long walk on an uneven ground, this is a farm after all. With the farm in thoughts expect farm smell and uneven and unpaved grounds. We went at 10:45 am and it's already bustling with activity. I have to look at their map by the entrance to figure out the place. So facing the farm it's on the left far side. It was covered by a large white tent for an event later I guess. The sign is confusing coz it arrows to both right and left but really bear to your left to directly access the restaurant. The place is outdoor under an open tent but it's big enough to cater a crowd. The place is cute as it's called Hive which makes sense since it's in a farm. It's clean and since it's early we get to choose somewhere with a good shade. Unfortunately they have no coffee available and some of their menu is also not available. The waitress was honest and made up for it for efficiency and trying to give us what we need. She event supplies a battery operated fly swatter. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was delicious and hot. Crispy and full of flavor. They did not skimp on the dressing. The salad is very fresh, no bruises on the veggies. Again generous on their dressing. We did enjoyed our brunch in this place and we will definitely come back and also enjoy their farm animals and plants they are selling.

Grabbed drinks wings and tenders before the haunting. Cocktails are a little pricey, but good. Bottled and canned beverages are great prices. Great venue, great scenery and a fun time.

Food was good! Service was a little slow but it was a weekend day. Fried Catfish bites were good but the breading was a little thick 8/10 Taco trio. we got one of each and they were SOOO good! the homemade pico de gallo was also AMAZING i should've got some to go 10/10 I got the strawberry lemonade drink and it was ok 5/10 t but my girlfriend got the Blueberry mojito and said it was delicious 7/10

Fresh food, outdoor seating, and live music make for a great place to grab an adult beverage and some fresh cooked food. Browse the market and plant nursery after your grub. Lawn games for kids to kill time, and inflatable bounce houses during certain seasons.

The Tacos are to die for. My daughter is very picky and does not like anything on her tacos but she ate it with onions and cilantro and she also loved them!!! I've attached some pics from the Taco fest they had a few weeks ago.

Looking back at the photos and wow! I'm sorry it's been so long, but I'm here now! After an afternoon of driving up from North Carolina, I was ready for beer and air conditioning and some wifi. I found all here and it was a great spot. Open, comfortable and friendly. I had a high top table but there was all kinds of other seating, both inside and out. For beers, I very much enjoyed their Tiny Panzer, a tasty hefeweizen. For seconds while Yelping with my laptop, the BUB Lite was a lighter American lager that was surprisingly flavorful and totally crushable. Big Ugly does not have a kitchen (yay, they can have dogs!) and today they were pairing up with the Pinoy Delights food truck. They have a schedule on their webpage. This is a superior spot and I enjoyed my evening. [Review 729 of 2025 - 1485 in Virginia - 24289 overall]

So, I was hopeful that the WXYZ lounge and bar in Chesapeake would be similar and provide a great atmosphere to get together for a fun, chill hangout with our friends. We were not disappointed. There was ample seating and a large table where we were able to share a meal and play board games. The lounge has games in the lobby area, which we weren't expecting, but was nice to see. We had brought our own games. My friend ordered a mocktail and enjoyed it. The four of us ordered chicken buffalo dip and fish and chips to share. I couldn't eat the chicken buffalo dip because I have a dairy allergy, but everyone said it was good. I did really enjoy the fish and chips. The fries were hot, thick, and well seasoned. The cod was very tasty as well, the skin was perfectly crispy but the meat was tender inside. While we didn't take pictures of the menu this time, I took a look at the menu online and there are some options listed on the website that were not printed on the physical menus we saw, but for what was the same the prices matched. The fish and chips isn't on the website but was on the physical menu and was affordable (two pieces or cod and ample fries). Our server (also the bartender) was nice and provided good service. The hours that they're open make it a great hangout spot for Friday nights and weekends. The restrooms are clean. The noise level was moderate and fine. We definitely recommend for hanging out with friends and will be coming back in the future.

The wings arrived piping hot, juicy, and well-prepared. While we ordered them on the spicier side, the heat level was more restrained than expected--flavorful, but lacking the assertive kick that true heat seekers might be looking for. The onion rings, by contrast, delivered exactly as hoped: crisp, golden, and satisfying, with a clean bite and no excess grease. Overall, the experience was an enjoyable one--uncomplicated, well-executed, and comfortable. It's a place we'll gladly return to, especially for a relaxed meal at the bar.
