Milo's is always a must when I am on my trek home, usually coming and going, every 6 wks or so. Only one of two foods on the "must list." This time a quick to-go Mother's Day lunch while traveling home. Was greeted promptly and with a Happy Mother's Day wish and a smile. Ordered my usual #1 combo with lemonade. Super fast service. Fries were good, though just a touch less crispy than usual - maybe trying to fry quick to take care of the amount of folks deciding on Milo's for Mother's Day? And amount of sauce on hamburger was a TOTAL disappointment - I kept thinking maybe the sauce was uneven and I'd eventually get to the part with all the extra sauce, but alas, such a spot on the burger didn't exist. Without the sauce, why go to Milo's? The service saved this review from 3 stars, but I sure hope someone from the location reads this & prevents this from happening in future. read more

I tried to give this location one more chance and I regret that. I ordered a spicy tender sandwich combo and I opened the sandwich and there is so much sauce on it that the bun is completely drenched and soggy with sauce. The chicken is soggy with sauce. It's not edible. I should've known better than to try this location again. They are completely incapable of doing a decent job. This Milos location is a great location with a great team of people working there. I've been going to this location since my later teens and it's always been a great experience. The food is always fresh and always consistent. I did have to have my burger fixed a few times in the past (not a big deal at all) but the staff has always been quick to rectify any issue and is always very nice. Most Milo's location are the same. They had a young lady taking orders at the entry way to the restaurant and taking payments also. Ordered a #1 with Extra Sauce and Extra Onions and made my Sweet Tea a large. I ordered at 4pm to have something to eat while I worked my OT Shift to 8:30pm. Got back to office my sandwich had no onions and some sauce. I called their number 4x and it goes straight to VM that's not set up so I just sit aside the food as I couldn't leave out again. Return to Milos at 8:40. The lines is wrapped around the building and I get in line as the lobby is closed. Try calling again same thing. Decided to pull around to the window and was told if my food was wrong I'd have to get in line to have it fixed. There were approximately 10 cars ahead of me. I no longer even had the taste for this food at this point. Then them telling me that upset me even more so I just screw the food just refund the order. Now it's able to be remade and just park at the front door. Waited a few minutes. Nice guy I think the manager brought out my food with an added peach pie for the error he said. Start my 35 minute drive home and decided I'll eat the fries while I drive bcus they'll be ruined by the time I get home. The fries were a mix of old end pieces of fries, cold fries, and hot very undercooked fries. Disgusted I just say the bag aside. Got home and warmed the burger up and added ice to my 4pm tea and that was dinner now. The pie had potential but was burnt. Milo's is not my go to place for burgers or breakfast but my wife really enjoyed their breakfast bowls. I joined her one morning for breakfast and bought he chicken and waffle sandwich. The chicken was crispy, the waffles were firm but not hard which made for an excellent cradle to pour some syrup into those square crevices. I ordered a side of bacon and it was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it. Was it the greatest breakfast sandwich in the world? No. Would I eat it again. Yes. Yikes. I hope you like sauce. A lot. We were passing through on a road trip and stopped for lunch. I ordered a cheeseburger and the other three ordered burgers. Except for the pickles, meat, and an exorbitant amount of "Milo Sauce," there isn't much else to this sandwich. We had to pay a $.15 up charge each for tomatoes and lettuce. The beef patty tastes like a cheap patty and was nothing special & the bun was hard. All of that should've been enough disappointment, but then we tasted the Milo sauce that the burger was drenched in. Whoa. It's like a smoky BBQ sauce where someone forgot to add the brown sugar. The fries were regular crinkle fries with seasoned salt. There were many self-serve options in sauces and we tried a couple, which were tasty and a nice addition to the condiment station. And the tea...the tea is always good! We stopped in because Milo's has the best bottled tea. Service was also good and our cashier recommended some options when we said it was our first time. On several occasions I've gone to this location and made purchases for food and dessert and it seems to never fail as much as I love their lemon pies I always seem to get home and it's very disappointing to bit into it and it's a darn apple pie in a lemon pie box. Then to call and report the problem to the manager and for them to have the nerve to tell you to bring it back and for you as the customer that has been given the wrong item to explain I'm not about to drive I've gotten settled in then for them to say oh ok well I don't work tomorrow until such time I'm like that's not my problem that's yours my receipt clearly states what I purchased why do I have to track you down to get my order corrected. I have never had a bad meal at Milo's Hamburgers, not this location or at any other location. And I love the sweet tea - I prefer the tea in the restaurant locations over the commercially offered tea available at grocery stores. And Milo's Hamburgers fries are my favorite fries of all time. It is because of the seasoned salt they use, but there is something more to it because I have saved extra salt from the packet offered in the restaurant and tried salting other fries with it but it just wasn't the same. And I dip my fries in Milo Sauce - not ketchup. Love this place!! read more

Wow! I just commented to my husband that that was the best burger I have had in a long time. I love my meat thin.... so maybe that's why they have such bad reviews. My burger has two thin pieces of meat and I had them leave off onions and add cheese. I thought it was fantastic! I also had a large order of fries that I double dips in their "O" sauce and their classic burger sauce. They too were perfect! I will eat here again the next time i am this way. read more

Milo's is fast food burgers much like a McDonalds. Milk shakes, tea, and soda to drink. Burgers, chicken, and fries to eat. The fries have a red salt/spice on them that adds some flavor. It was pretty annoying today that I ordered a crispy spicy chicken sandwich and they said they didn't have any. The guy right after me got one. Not sure how that happened. Milo's has to be one of my favorite hamburger shops. Quality food, and friendly customer service. The Bessemer location stays packed during lunch hours. Yet, not overcrowded, and orders are generally fulfilled promptly. I might add that this location is next door to a McD's, and does more business than the McD's. Milo's now serves breakfast.
