With a busy schedule, sometimes same day service is needed and I'm glad SMN can accommodate! I didn't want to wait so I went to SMN this time. I've been to SMN a few times since my initial review and the two times since my initial visit there was no skin broken/bleeding, but unfortunately today there was. I have sensitive skin, and skin is drier in the winter, but I've never had the skin broken when I've done waxing. The aesthetician put a salve on it to heal it quicker. I also signed up for a Bikini Extended and it was only a little more than the bikini area. When I told the aesthetician what I was looking for, she removed all the hair in front like I usually have-- I asked her what to request next time and she told me to request a Brazilian. She didn't charge me for the extra hair removal which was very nice. At the waxing center where I usually go a Bikini Full ($47) removes all the hair in front. A Brazilian at SMN is $60, so from a cost perspective, it seems like waxing is also the way for me to go. I don't like to leave less positive reviews but I think it's good for others to know if they're considering sugaring-- I really want to like it but so far it's been very painful and broken my skin 2/4 times. Maybe it's a better experience for people with less sensitive skin! Update: the healing balm seems to have worked as there hasn't been any irritation/pain from the area where the skin broke. It was just very painful in the moment, but there's been no lingering pain, which is good.

Kelly was my go to girl. She always did a great job on my nails - beautiful pink & white…read more Unfortunately she sold the shop & the new owners are horrific! I was there the week after she sold the business, and I will never go back. After I got into the seat & the started to remove the previous job they then informed me that they don't do pink & white, only french manicures. Okay, I was willing to go with that. So it think it was the owner's wife started to remove the old nails to prep for the new. About 10 minutes after she started the new owner walked in to take over, that is when I was finally informed that they didn't do pink & whites. After he finished removing the old acrylic & put the new one, he handed me over to someone else. At first they didn't even bother to make sure my nails were properly filed. At least 3 were filed at an angle, rather than the rounded I had asked for. Then when she started putting on the white each nail had a different amount. While I was sitting getting my nails done, another customer came in because 1 of the nails she had put on the day before had come off & another was barely hanging on. Rather than fix her nail he handed her some nail glue to do it herself. When she left he started talking shit about her to the other customers in the shop. How very unprofessional the whole experience was. I miss Kelly! Frankly if I could give this zero stars I would.
