Service was good! Only good thing I can say about the place. The seat cushions were torn which should have been my first indication. I ordered a flavorful drink which ended up tasting like cough syrup, which I thought might have just been my taste buds (though never happened to me before). Then I ordered wings.... You can't get wings wrong, right? Wrong! The wings were so caked in thick hard breading that they were tough to eat. Once you did, the chicken was dry. The sauces were watered down and flavorless as was the ranch dressing!!! The ranch had less flavor and more watery than the fat free stuff from the grocery store!! No way they didn't water it down! Was kind of let down after reading reviews and the menu... I got that Bacon Cheddar Crunch MBC grind burger.. It was really really underwhelming... Maybe I got the wrong burger? Because it tasted like a plain old burger.. They also forgot the bacon so that kind of killed the burger for me... I got the blue cheese potato salad which was only about 3 tablespoons total.. Yes that is the whole side lol... We shared some of the cheese curds which were OK I guess but I'm not a big cheese curd guy...I got a burger from Cinders earlier in the week and that burger was way better than this one. read more

The people couldn't be nicer. All the food tasted fantastic and service was prompt. Clean overall and fantastic views to all of the screens to watch the games. Prices are very good. The beer selection is outstanding. Portions were very generous on burgers, salads, is appetizers and everything except the Milwaukee cheese steak sandwich. It was surprisingly light on filling. It was a disappointment compared to everything else I was seeing. Not even close to a $13 dish. In the future I will stick to the burgers. We went here for Mother's Day. Since I have a gluten allergy, I asked if they had any options. The waitress gave attitude and said we have a gluten-free bun, that's it. Everything fried is cross-contaminated. The way she said it had zero empathy. Ok, I'll find something. She walks back to the bar and I could hear every word she said as she told her co-worker about me. She wasn't just explaining the story, she was clearly mocking me. If you're going to make fun of a customer, do it in the back so they can't hear you do it. We got up and left. I let her know that I heard every word. She apologized, but still, I have a legit allergy, I don't ask for gluten-free because I want to be difficult. read more

After an long wait for our food Saturday afternoon we were underwhelmed by the cold fries and the unmelted cheese on a chipotle chicken "grilled" cheese sandwich. The Steakhouse burger was a sloppy mess with Burger Co sauce all over the place making it impossible to pickup. This spot had great service great food we came here on a trip to see a packers game and this place did not disappoint. It was amazing we got the cheese curd sampler and they were delicious with a wide variety of four different ones. They had one of the best burgers I have had and it had a great packers atmosphere! My family loves the food at Milwaukee Burger Company and this Appleton location is our favorite. We had an awesome server named Rachel who was very nice and attentive to our needs during our latest visit. Food was amazing as usual and this time I tried the Milwaukee Burger Challenge. Our server, Rachel, was always there to help me with drink refills, napkins, and encouragement as I attempted to devour the towering monster cheeseburger. We keep trying to like Milwaukee Burger Company. This is our fourth trip in a year and every time we go we have the same experience. The drinks are really good. The selection of tap beers is fantastic. The mixed drinks are well made. The shakes taste great and the mix in choices are so much fun! It just falls off so hard after that. No matter what you do if you want a second or third beer you better sit at the bar and tip heavily with your first drink. The service continues to be s-l-o-w. The food is a hit or wild miss. I love the topping choices for the burgers. Seriously great options like pineapple, pork belly with Sriracha mayo. Peanut butter and brown sugar bacon anyone? But you better choose wisely to cover up the actual burger patty. Of our four burgers only one was still juicy. I ordered my burger medium rare. It was medium well, but still juicy. The other three burgers were terribly over cooked. Since it took 45 minutes to get our first round of burgers we didn't want to ask for new ones. We also know that the next round will come out just like we've had them before; overcooked, nearly raw or burnt. That's how we have been served before. So this kitchen is consistently inconsistent. What's so sad about this is that it's a just a burger. If your restaurant is named for any food or drink, then that is your Signature dish. That's the ONE thing you need to absolutely get perfect! Perhaps a name change to Milwaukee Beverage Company would help. That way People would not be focused on the low quality of the burgers? Again, I want to love this place. There's only one thing to fix and this becomes a four star, and a regular stop. read more

We've been here a few times since moving to the area in 2020, and each time we've had a good experience. The food is pretty good and seemed freshly cooked each time. For burgers and drinks, I'd take this place over Red Robin. What we really got lucky with, is our quality of service. Each time we go, we get a positive, quick server that makes our experience positive. Most recently, we had Kaitlyn as our waitress, just after lunchtime. She was friendly and patient with our indecisiveness, AND when we asked for something, or drank most of our drinks, she took care of things QUICK. I met Kristina and she was the most helpful waitress, giving me the lowdown of this Milwaukee style establishment, in Appleton. As I missed out on going to the fair this year, the Fair cheese curds drew my eye right away. And they did not disappoint! Many great choices for burgers, but I opted for the Pulled Pork sandwich. Outside of Green Bay, this is my new favorite sandwich. With even more on the menu, I will have to come back for another meal, or two, or three..... There's a reason this place is always busy. We had a party of 4, got 4 burgers all with different cook requests. They were all PERFECT. And the flavor is excellent! I was pleasantly surprised with my high quality burger when I stopped in. I decided to get the BBQ burger with hand cut fries. I loved those fries you could tell they were fresh. Served with the burger it was topped with huge cuts of bacon and dripping with BBQ sauce. The bun was super tasty too. It was just the way I wanted it medium. My husband and I have decided to give this place another chance, but this was the last one. We sat down and we were basically ignored. Not one person acknowledged us after being seated until I had to speak up to someone who wasn't even our original server. Who ever she was (glasses, dark brown hair in ponytail) did the right thing and was actually great to us. And she continued to take care of us after. So if everything had went right she would've gotten a tip. So we order, and we got our cheese curds. The classic ones are absolutely huge and I think I actually prefer the state fair ones (they are quite a bit smaller). They were alright. But once we finished those we waited. And waited. And waited. Sure the place was busy for 11:30-12ish but we noticed another table of two sat down, ordered, ate AND LEFT in the entire time we sat down and were waiting. We also noticed a table of a family next to us that were STILL waiting right before we left, with no food. A server had to come by twice to apologize for the long wait. But anyway. We flag down the manager and she apologized, said the food would be 5-10 minutes (that was a lie) and comped our cheese curds. Now if the food had actually shown up then that would've been fine. We waited much longer than that! None of the servers (except for ours) had any urgency and I don't think the manager did either. And apparently the kitchen had none either. I overheard someone else said they had a mistake with their meal, last thing I wanted to hear while we waited.... So we finally get our food just shy of 40 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable. Seeing a trend here? I don't care if it's a Sunday, serving times should be consistent all week. The fries weren't hot and the burger was just okay. Edible. I asked for well done and still found pink in parts. You can get a better burger at Appleton Beer Factory, Basil's, Mihm's in Menasha, hell you can get a better burger at Culver's! Better service at these places too. Found the manager again and we asked for our meal to be comped because waiting that long is absolutely ridiculous. She offered gift certificates, we declined. We wanted to give them another chance (last time we waited that long on a Friday afternoon), and they screwed it up. My husband is a very successful Uber/Lyft driver and he won't be recommending this place and either will I. We told them we won't be back and we mean it. Get your kitchen together to get food out in a timely fashion with waitstaff that have some pep in their step. Just don't come here. EDIT: if you're the manager reading this, don't bother replying "we hope to give you another chance!!" you had your chance and we'll take our business elsewhere. read more
