I finally had the benefit of coming here not pregnant meaning a. I'm not turned off by most foods and b. I can have a glass of wine (or two ;) and what a great experience! The ambience is so special, you really feel miles away when you walk inside, and the staff is always welcoming and kind. Come with an appetite and with friends, or a loved one, so you can try as many things as possible. The specials are not to be missed, it's like a full secret menu on the side. Everything is seasonal and fresh so the menu does change with some exceptions that are always there. This might be my new favorite spot !

I had a Galentine's Day outing with my best friend here and for how many times I pass this place on a daily basis, I've never really noticed it. I am glad she suggested it! They had a $37 "Pasta Feste" special where you get your choice of pasta dish and salad and a glass of wine (which was a Shirley Temple instead for me since I don't drink) which was good because the original price on the menu for the fennel salad I got was $18 which is a bit absurd. So instead of paying upwards of $50 for a salad, pasta and drink, I paid $37, however we did end up sharing an appetizer and dessert so I still ended up paying well over $60 for just myself. The meatballs were good, very soft. I loved the salad and was glad the fennel was not overpowering, it was sweet and savory at the same time and I loved the addition of the pear. I loved the buttery sage sauce and breadcrumbs that topped my ravioli. The ravioli were wonderfully creamy but the butternut squash flavor was a bit mild, I wish there was a bit more balance within the filling. My friend loved her carbonara. We also shared the lava cake and although it didn't really have that lava-melting-out effect once it was cut into, it was very tasty and I loved the cherry syrup on top. Overall a very good experience. We were sitting there chatting for a while after we finished eating and never once felt rushed to leave. My only real complaint is that I don't think the prices are fair, but if money is no issue, I definitely recommend.

The staff was professional and accommodating. We started with a cheese board and the brussel sprouts for appetizers. For dinner we shared a pasta which was made to our liking. Always a pleasure to visit. Thank you!

The centerpiece of this restaurant in my opinion is the beautiful horse shoe shaped bar in the middle of the restaurant. I typically enjoy a nice clean and clear bar so you can fall into the feeling of the restaurant and see what is happening all around. This bar had bottles of wines lining the bar, in my opinion I would remove the bottles and allow for a more open feel. Personally I felt that the bottles created a barrier between me and the bar tender. The outside tables are tables typically for 2 or 4 people with banquet seating and then chairs. Oh, my God How's this boy treating you? Very good wonderful started The service was attentive but not over bearing which created a relaxed feeling.. I was looking for a wine and cheese bar for a night our for myself. I wanted a place that I have not been to before and yelp directed me here Wines on Aug range from 15 and up for a glass which is not outrageous in price. They had a nice selection of wines and I stepped out of ny own comfort zone of a cab and tried the house Pinot Noir accompanied by the B6 board. Overall I was satisfied with the meat and cheese selection and baguette that was served with it had a nice oil on it. Presentation was well done with one exception in my mind, the breads ticks came in a package. Presentation factor went down with that. Take one of the small wife carafe used to serve the wine and present it in that. Overall I felt something was missing but could not put my finger on it. Overall this place has a great date night vibe.

Housed in a revitalized historic train station directly next to the Metro-North tracks and Waterfront Park." I must say there is something about train stations and their nearby eateries. Whenever, my friends and I travel to the Hudson Valley, from Tarrytown, to Cold Spring to Poughkeepsie, there are always restaurants that jut out from the train stations. I must say, the food is awesome. Today, my friend Rochelle and I were in a New York Stare of Mind, and followed Billy Joel's instructions but took the Metro North vs a Greyhound bus to Dobbs Ferry. We took in the sun and the Hudson River before dining at Hudson Social. A cool eatery offering a bit of upscale pub food. The menu offers burgers, salads, tacos and a brunch menu until 3pm on weekends. We were in the mood for something light thus we ordered tacos: brisket for Rochelle, pulled pork for myself and a side of hand cut fries. Here's where a bit of a disconnect arose: Rochelle did not want pico de gallo but the server should have instructed her to add a different ingredient to prevent dryness. The brisket was cooked perfectly with a slight char mixed with guacamole but could have used a kick and cilantro. The soft taco was flavorless. My pulled pork taco was delicious: Mango salsa with pineapple chunks, pork was also slightly roasted and guacamole gave it a delicious flavor. I also thought cilantro should have been added. The hand cut fries were good not great, but portion was generous. There was live music: a flutist who played with prerecorded music. There is a bar as well to purchase drinks. Dining al fresco is a must; the view of the Hudson River is wonderful. Must say, the server was not friendly and checked on us mid way through meal. Some folks do like to get away.. and a trip to Dobbs Ferry for a beautiful lunch on the Hudson, is well worth it.
