    AVOCADO BENEDICT

The service was amazing. The restaurant was clean. Im not sure what I was expecting for avacado Benedict but it definitely wasnt what I got lol. I liked the sauce and you cant go wrong w a grilled English muffin but the slice of cheese un melted was a little off. The hash browns were delicious crispy out side and soft in the middle. My bf got a make your own omelet it was good but would have been a lot better with seasoning. I would come back but wouldnt make a special trip for it.

Friendly, welcoming cafe, great for brekkie, brunch, or lunch. There are several tables available inside as well as out; we sat at the counter and got a good view of the short-order cook going about his competent and efficient biz. Food was pretty good too: my wife had the avocado toast special while I had the deluxe special of 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, home fries, and sausages - with some bacon thrown in on the side - and enjoyed a pleasant meal. They do take-out as well.

Rating: 4.3 Visited this small breakfast place located in east greenwich plaza. Came here tagging along with my partner for the yelp event. The place was somewhat busy but luckily we found parking and was sat down right away. The place seems like standard breakfast place but offers alcoholic drinks as well. I ordered the Portuguese benedict with some home fries. Eggs and linguica were cooked to perfection and linguica came with good portion. Home fries were savory and crispy. Pairing of benedict with home fries and ketchup/hot sauce combo was very good. The service was pretty good and staffs were nice. We did have to ask for some utensils and condiments since there were none on the table that we needed but it was not troublesome to ask. Overall I did like Mimi's cafe as breakfast spot. It's a bit out of way from where I'm located but I would come back when I'm around the area and maybe try their other menu. I can't speak for the alcoholic menu since I do not drink but my partner seemed to like the place as well and enjoyed the mimosa that came with the yelp event.

I was in the area and needed to stop for a quick bite but I had my dog with me. I had an iced coffee and some Avocado Toast that was delicious!! I was able to sit outside with my pooch and he was given a little treat as well my server Ashley, which by the way was her first day, was super friendly and welcoming seeing I showed up 30 minutes before closing...I knew I was gonna be quick and easy lol I would definitely recommend giving this quaint little cafe a try!!

I've come here a couple times now, and the food is consistently good. On our last visit, I had the burger. It's nothing super over the top, but it is done right. This place isn't boring though. They've got mimosa flights and chicken and waffles and all kinds of trendy stuff if that's what you're into. They've also got some good, old-fashioned, shredded hashbrowns that were on point. Service was super friendly and attentive, and there's plenty of seating. The size of the building is deceiving. I look forward to coming back for breakfast.

The food was amazing, I don't remember the name of the special, I ordered but it was top notch egg, sausage cheese on a muffin with sausage white gravy. Oh w/ the crispiest home fries. Plus I got a side of bacon it's a must. (So crispy) the coffee was good but the mimosas no words. I loved them all so I can't even tell you my favorite. The service was so nice and attentive. I even got to meet one of the owners. I will be back soon, they have a lunch menu I need to try next. Check this place out easy to find, good vibe and plenty of parking.

I walked in on autopilot and headed left to grab my coffee, only to realize the entire layout had changed. The new bar area is beautiful, inviting and such a great addition to the space. Coffee service has moved to the back and while I was checking out the prepackaged gluten-free muffins in the cooler, I was warmly greeted by the staff. I ordered the Iced Grasshopper with milk and it was delicious. Smooth, refreshing and the perfect summer coffee. Very minty. One of the employees noticed me looking around and took the time to explain all of the renovations, show me the new bar and point out their weekend dinner specials, which can also be ordered for takeout. That personal touch really stood out. If you're stopping in for coffee, don't miss the specials board. The dinner menu looked fantastic and I'll definitely be back to give it a try. It's great to see a local business continue to grow while keeping such friendly, welcoming service.

Ten years is a long time to stay away from a corner table…read more I used to work just down the road from Wild Harvest. Back then, I was there often enough that it became part of my week. You ordered at the counter, found a table, and waited for your name to be called. No table service. No bar. Just good food in a place that felt comfortable the minute you walked in. I left that job ten years ago. Wild Harvest never left East Greenwich. My friend Frank wanted to take me to lunch for my birthday. I knew exactly where I wanted to go. Lauren greeted us at the door. She's been managing the restaurant for a few weeks. I wanted to see how much the place has changed. "Where would you like to sit?" "The corner." A minute later, I was sitting in the same corner where I'd eaten lunch more times than I could count years ago. Wild Harvest still has the log cabin bones that made it stand out when it first opened. Heavy timber walls. Exposed beams overhead. A taxidermy deer wearing red, white, and blue bunting like someone decorated it for the Fourth of July years ago and never got around to taking it down. It still feels warm. Comfortable. Like itself. The changes over the last ten years, though, are hard to miss. What used to be a counter-service café is now a full-service restaurant. There's a real bar. A chalkboard announces dinner from five to eight, seasonal menus that change every week, cocktails, and Friday night flights. The place has grown without losing what made people want to come here in the first place. They don't call it a chicken parm. On the menu it's simply "Parmesan," listed beside the hot meatball as though everyone already knows what it is. The ciabatta is baked in house every day, and it tastes like it. The crust was blistered and lightly floured, toasted enough to push back before giving way to a chewy interior. The provolone had gone beyond melted into something draped over the edge of the cutlet. Underneath, the breading stayed crisp despite a generous layer of sauce. That's usually the first thing a chicken parm gives up. Not this one. The chips deserve a mention, too. They're house-made, fresh-cut, still curled from the fryer, the kind that remind you potato chips are supposed to taste like potatoes. Frank ordered the Mediterranean wrap with Wild Harvest's homemade veggie burger, hummus, romaine, tomato, shredded carrot, cucumber, and tzatziki. His lunch looked responsible. Mine looked like someone having a birthday. Neither of us seemed interested in trading. Frank picked up the check. We thanked Lauren and headed for the door. Ten years is a long time to stay away from a corner table. It's even better when you find out it was worth coming back.

The weather was nice, so we chose to sit out back under the lovely umbrellas and look over the water. They also have adirondack chairs set out, so I imagine it would be a lovely spot for a cocktail and a chat with friends! Our server, Lena, was a DREAM and helped us make our choices. I got a seasonal latte while my partner got the medium-roast pourover coffee. Having had a hard time finding really great coffee recently, we were soooo impressed. They clearly take their coffee program seriously (and now I realize the name should have tipped me off!). The food was equally impressive. It legitimately didn't have to be as good as it was (lol). The yogurt bowl on any menu is usually "meh," but we gave it a try since we wanted some non-meat protein and I am SO glad we did. It was the best yogurt bowl I've ever had- no contest. The whole milk yogurt was creamy; the strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries were ripe; the honey and granola added crunch and some floral sweetness; and the best part was the raspberry preserves they pipe on top. I wish I could recreate this at home! We also loved the lemon poppyseed loaf with blueberry preserves and cream. Another quick brunch addition that could have been simple, but had so much thought put into the flavors. Overall, a big fan and I'll be back!

I'm assuming they offer regular coffee drinks, though none were listed. My only qualm with this spot is the price.
