Not sure how this place could get any less than 5 stars from everyone. It's not brand new and chic, but it's a hell of a diner! I feel like the world expects everything to be super fancy and beautiful. I'm here for a good time! The service here is great. The place was packed at 11:30 on a Tuesday and it's because locals LOVE it and i can see why. This spot is adorable. It's wholesome, like the people working here. Honestly, it feels like it's out of a small town romance novel. The food is amazing. The quantity and quantity were mind blowing. I really couldn't decide on what to get. I was there for best breakfast sandwich but got a whole meallll out of it, and also ordered pancakes and hot cocoa cuz why not?! Everything was amazing. If this was close to me, I'd be a regular too! Check it out. I'll be back for sure!

Love a place that serves Yacht Club Soda!

Back on the RI Food Fights #BestBreakfastSandwich trail & this weekend's adventure led us to a spot that absolutely delivered on every level. A visit to Jigger's Diner felt like stepping into the kind of place where breakfast isn't rushed & hospitality truly matters. We went earlier-ish on a Saturday morning & there were only counter seats available with a wait list for booths. By the time we left, every seat in the diner was taken & a gathering of people were waiting to be seated. The Bagel & Lox Jigger's Style was outstanding! Toasted bagel of your choice, cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomato slice, avocado, capers & a little container of chopped red onions, side of home fries. The sandwich was thoughtfully put together, perfectly balanced & incredibly satisfying. Each bite felt indulgent yet comforting, the kind of sandwich that reminds you why breakfast sandwiches deserve their own spotlight. It is easily one of the most memorable stops we have had on the challenge so far. Alongside it, the home fries were crispy on the outside & tender on the inside. They complemented the meal perfectly & were impossible not to stop eating! And while the food alone would have made this visit a success, the service took it to another level. Our server was an absolute delight - fun, outgoing & totally decked out in her Christmas attire finest! What could have been just another breakfast outing turned into a genuinely feel-good morning. Between the standout food, the welcoming vibe & the joyful service, Jigger's Diner made this stop feel like a celebration of food! Highly recommend. NOM NOM NOM #YUM

Really cool diner in an old dining train car. Loved the old fashioned layout with seating at a counter with stools, or at wooden booths, with an aisle running down the center of the restaurant. Jiggers was packed when we arrived on Saturday around 11AM, but after a short wait we were seated at the counter. We ordered sandwiches with our RI Food Fights coupons: corned beef and swiss for me and tuna for my husband. Both sandwiches were absolutely perfect. For my side, I ordered a kale/shredded brussells sprout salad with dried cranberries and sunflower seeds, and it was so good! My husband's onion rings were crunchy and well prepared. Would love to go back for breakfast because all of the breakfast items we saw being served looked amazing! Jiggers is everything you could possibly want in a diner. I look forward to going back!

Went here today for lunch and had the limited time only Pastrami sandwich. Wowza! Great flavor, tender pastrami on grilled seeded rye! Highly recommend you try it before it goes away. Sorry, no pics but it's exactly what you'd expect it to be. Also recommend their freshly homemade potato chips and dipping sauce.

Jiggers is a comfort spot! In the past +growing up I'd dined in the booths, but I sat at the bar today. The RI food fights best breakfast sandwich coupon entitled me to any handheld. I chose the waffle-wich. Filling! Crispy bacon!!! Added avocado as a side vs home fries. Although my sandwich was comped entirely, I noticed the charge for avocado was 50¢ which is soooo low, because I was given a whole avocado that was so creamy and ripe. My sister enjoyed the Gyro. Great place to eat always. The women who work there have always been so hospitable and friendly.

What a cute breakfast spot! My son loves that it's in an old train dining car, and it definitely adds to the charm. Obviously since it is in an old train car it is not very big. I've been quite a few times and sometimes there is a wait and sometimes there isn't. It's certainly a bit hit or miss and often there is no wait if their outside tables are in play as well. Service is always friendly and I love their cheeky signs like "coffee is free tomorrow". I also like that you can get solid side options with your meal, like a side of avocado or fruit. I usually go with the corn beef hash and it does not disappoint. The eggs are also always cooked perfectly. I wish they had a kids menu, but we generally can always make one of the smaller regular menu offerings work for our son. They also have lots of iced coffee flavors, which is also always a win in my book. We will certainly continue to keep Jigger's in our breakfast rotation!

Came here with the new owners with #rifoodfights #bestbreakfastsandwich. Love this place as it is still a real diner. Menu had some good changes. Had bacon egg and cheese on a waffle. Now this was a waffle! It was a full belgium waffle. Had a good side of dipping syrup. My only knock on this sandwich is that because the waffle is thick it can be dry, even with the syrup. Service is still great, never ran out of coffee. A great staple with great food.

Jigger's is a great place for breakfast in EG! It is an adorable diner on Main Street with lots of options. It doesn't have a lot of seating so be prepared to wait a few minutes or sit at the counter. During my last visit, I had French toast made gluten free. They have several gluten free options and service is fast. My friends had an omelet and gingerbread pancakes which they also said were delicious!

We went with our doggie and were able to sit outside! The staff was so sweet and nice. I got the lobster avocado bacon wrap and it was delicious. Ask to get the lobster cooked in butter! We got the Johnny cakes and we definitely prefer pancakes because they were dense. But everything else was great! Our pup loved it.

This charming little breakfast nook sits between Rasa and Main Street Coffee on Main Street in East Greenwich. The diner is housed in a repurposed railroad car which is pretty cool. Surprisingly, despite their small size, they have an expansive menu which includes only the best fresh ingredients with a massive offering of gluten free options. My breakfast sandwich was cooked perfectly. The fluffy scrambled eggs and crispy bacon on the grilled English muffin satiated my hunger and spoiled my taste buds. My husband raved about his gluten free Johnny cakes with sausage, egg, and hollandaise sauce. Our waitress, Amanda, was clearly experienced and skillfully attended to our needs while engaging us with her personable demeanor. This place is great! I think young children in particular would get a kick out of it too. We will be back for sure!

I've been to Jiggers countless times throughout my life. Each and every time it doesn't disappoint. I live only a few minutes drive from it which definitely helps in why I've been there so many times, but even then it's a classic American diner that has gotten so many awards and recognition throughout the food community in Rhode Island. Today, I got a special which was the Thanksgiving Eggs Benedict. It was quite the plate! So the way it came was pretty interesting. It came with a grilled corn muffin, with a small bowl of cranberry sauce, then with the two eggs sitting on top of two slabs of turkey then having the eggs and turkey sitting on a bed of stuffing! Which btw, the stuffing was fantastic! It was moist, spongy, flavorful and just overall delish! As was the dish in general! I've never had something like it before, so I thought I'd give it a try. The service today was excellent and also very quick, considering how busy it was. We ordered our food and within 20-25 mins food came out. Our waitress too was such a joy. She's been working there for a fairly long time so every time I go there I always see her. And each and every time she's in a good mood, it's great. In terms of the ambiance in Jiggers, it was the same as it always is. A classic, fun, enthusiastic diner joint that never seizes to let me down.

Such friendly servers. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and decided to wait for a booth. So many choices on this menu! They even had a flavored coffee of the day. S'mores when we were there. My husband ordered the Johnny cake breakfast with eggs, bacon and hash browns. Those hash browns were amazing. I think they may have used a bit of old bay seasoning. His Johnny cakes were delicious. I ordered the gingerbread pancakes. Reminded me of Christmas. We loved this diner.

The place looks new and very clean. The girls working there were friendly and quick to bring your items to you. I got the Rhody Latte, think coffee milk meets latte and shared a chicken parm and an Italian sandwich. The Italian was good but the star was the chicken parm for me. The sauce was great and really made the sandwich for me. The coffee, to me, was good but the coffee milk portion overpowered the coffee flavor. It's worth trying unless you're a coffee purist. I snuck in a potato salad and brownie - who's counting calories at this point? We opted to eat in so grabbed a seat and our sammiches came out 5-10 mins later. The chicken parm - chef's kiss! It was super tasty with a good amount of sauce overflowing on top of the fried chicken cutlets. It was so good I was tempted to order one to go and it was a good sized portion! The mister got the Italian, although not the best we've had still very good - good portions as well. The potato salad was meh - could use a pinch of salt. The lattes weren't bad - I didn't mind my honey latte but the mister was just ok with the Rhody latte - he felt with the autocrat syrup, it was fighting with the espresso flavor. All in all - I would absolutely come back for another chicken parm sammich and would like to try some of their other options.
