Years ago I went to a Mimi's cafe and was blown away by the service and the food. Since moving to Las Vegas five months ago I've gone to Mimi's twice and have been so disappointed. The first one was in Henderson, and I thought the food was mediocre, and the service very slow. The second time was yesterday at the Centennial Mimi's and again, slow service and mediocre food. I was in a hurry so I thought I would get the Breakfast Sandwich with fruit. There was one person waiting on everyone. It wasn't extremely busy, but the guy seemed to be doing everything by himself in the front. The biscuit was dry and crusty on the top and bottom. In fact I only at the top half after breaking off some of the extra dry bits because that is where the cheese was, and I couldn't tak off the whole biscuit. Very disappointed with the biscuit. As with many restaurants, the bacon was re-warmed and very chewey. I'm pretty sure they don't use real eggs for the scrambled eggs because it tasted just like the eggs I avoid at Hotel breakfasts. The fruit bowl was strawberries and pineapple. Strawberries looked and tasted like they were cut up a couple of days ago. And I'm pretty sure the pineapple wasn't that fresh, either, because it tasted a bit moldy. I didn't have time to get anything else, but I defininitely won't be going back to Mimi's. They haver really gone downhill. Maybe I should try a lunch sometime, but that breakfast sandwich wasn't good at all.

Everything was perfect and smooth at this restaurant. From the time I walked in and was greeted and shown to a table, to the time that I left and was told thank you by the waiter. And everything in between, of course! If I could give this restaurant more than five stars I would. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious. This is what a restaurant experience is all about.

We came with a party of 5, one handicap.. took almost 30 minutes to get sat. Service was ok , took a minute before she got to the table and when she did we placed order. We didn't see our server again until we flagged her to bring boxes and for check. We had one kids burger that was overcooked child's pancake dish was probably the best looking dish one walnut salad kitten pine served asked for more dressing and then the stuffed French toast with blueberries and strawberries. Last time we had it was big and full. This one looked like it was skimpy, and it was kind of cold so disappointing on the food..

Came to have breakfast on Valentines morning and we had an amazing time! Both my husband and I had two mimosas he orange me peach and we ordered an appetizer soup and mains. Our server was really great. She was quick and although she was busy, she didn't let that her delivering great service. Daisy was amazing and she wasn't even bigger reason as to why we love our experience. Although the soup seem to be a little bit over reduced when it was heated up, everything else was just amazing as ever and it was so great to see that Mimis keeps up with the trends going on like the Dubai chocolate muffin that they have on display. We took infamous blueberry muffin because they are iconic. Our toddler enjoyed himself and the wonderful space booth. have a three course dinner until the 16th for $33. It looks so good. I want to come back with a chicken cordon blue.

Diane and I returned here for dinner, where I was very pleased with my dining experience. I had a really good large crock of cheesy French Onion Soup, followed by tender Liver & Onions with Bacon, Mushrooms, and both White and Red Onions. It came with tasty Mashed Potatoes, a robust Brown Gravy, and French Green Beans. Diane had a weak Hot Chocolate, a Grilled Cheese Sandwich that included multiple cheeses, French Fries, and we shared a Basket of addictive Carrot Raisin Madeleines. When we arrived we received a friendly welcome from the hostess, who was familiar with our reservation. And our server, Tamara, was very hospitable, efficient, and receptive to our needs. Portions were all large.

Mimi's Café is not what I remember when it comes to customer service. It's been some time since I've been. I will say my server was great. She did well. It was the other servers who seemed not to make contact and purposely avoid me. The interesting part is that I never saw the server until my visit. The restaurant has a sewer challenge too. Not the lou, the sewer... There is a limited time menu. When I tell you... them chorizo and egg tacos as well as the chorizo sausage omlett looked so good. I opted in for the omlett. Good choice. The omlet was amazing. Cooked well, no onions for me, the avocado was fresh. Very well made. I can't with to try the chorizo tacos next. Thanks for the coffee too. It was not bad . Happy Yelping.

Tamra was our waitress and she was such a warm happy energy it was fantastic. Now I've been here a few times. This is a simple casual Louisiana themed diner. It has good days and bad days like any other casual establishment. The good days it all hits, flavors are peak deliciousness and cooked to perfection. The bad days are more just lacking flavor, everything is cooked perfectly, but it's simply not hitting. That said, I will always recommend 1. the pesto turkey sandwich, simple fresh ingredients and a flavor that will make you want to go in for that second bite. 2. The sticky toffee pudding, they call it something else but it tastes amazing all the same 3. Croissant beignets these are gooie crispy little pieces of heaven. Especially! With the whiskey butter sauce thing. Honorable mention: the quesadillas on the trio app. And the mimosas! Can't go wrong with a touch of alcohol while eating.

Had dinner Thursday night with Maddy after getting our nails done. They have a 3 course meal, I got the French onion soup, salmon with garlic spinach and a baked potato and toffee butter cake for $30!! Everything was so good. I forgot to take a picture of my salmon. Our server is always amazing I love sitting with Derrick. They are running another special if you buy 4 muffins you get 4 for free. See my pics

I had an amazing experience. Walked into a nice place. Slightly loud due to business level. Awesome service. Our server was very busy yet so attentive. Still looking around I found the place very nice. Food is here! Delicious food. Birria dip sandwich meat was just OK. I think the kickers are the hearty dishes. My one daughter had the meatloaf with scalloped potatoes and mashed potatoes. Very hearty and filling. I had the roasted turkey with mashed potatoes and green beans. Excellent flavors on everything. Towards the end of our experience I used the restroom and was equally impressed. Overall, yes,I would say 5 stars earned.

We went here on a whim. It has been years since visiting a Mimi's Cafe. We arrived a little after 1PM on a Sunday. It was not crowded at all. We were greeted and seated within 5 minutes. It took a while to get our drink orders. I ordered the Mango Ice Tea which was so refreshing. I went with the chicken Mac and cheese. It was pretty good. My son had the Jambalaya. He was very impressed. My husband had the chicken Parmesan, he finished his plate so it must have been good. The ambiance was nice, very New Orleans cafe style, it was not crowded at all. I would come back again, it was a nice and peaceful place to dine.

Yes, this is at Mimi's Cafe. It's at par and even better than the other fine dining places

We're craving for comfort food and didn't mind the travel to Centennial. The restaurant is conveniently located close to the freeway. The hostess and staff are very nice. We had the chicken pot pie, french pot roast, grilled cheese, french onion soup, and the molten chocolate lava cake. The food was truly delicious and comforting. The place is clean.

Always amazing service and food! My family usually comes every Sunday for a coffee and a muffin, it's something we always look forward too. #mimibistrobakery

However, while waiting for a nearby service, I was hungry and decided to give this location a fair chance on its own merits. I'm glad I did. This location had the personable café feel I was looking for. The smaller size gave it more of a local business atmosphere, and the staff was extremely polite, well spoken, attentive, and on top of everything. The food was great and the coffee was good. The only miss for me was the Sammy. It looked and tasted very similar to what you might get from a national fast food chain, so the price was difficult to justify for that particular item. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and completely understand how disappointing this may be. Would you be open to moving your order pickup date to one of the following available dates?" They provided me with dates I was not going to be in Vegas for. Eventually, the individual helping me was able to accommodate me with a date that worked for me; however, the time was going to be a conflict. I opted to choose the latest pick-up time (3pm) to allow time for me to now work around that time because again I had other things I had already planned before my original date was moved. Moreover, the person helping me confirmed that she had my order rescheduled "at 3 pm with a note stating that (I) may arrive earlier for pickup." Again, since I now had to work with the time rescheduled. The day for pick-up arrived. I called Cafe Lola to confirm that although I had the latest pick-up time if I'd show up earlier will my cinnamon rolls be ready for me. The lady that picked up the phone stated that I could go in at anytime to pick-up my order. Therefore, I drove to Cafe Lola only to be told that they had no cinnamon rolls that I had to go back at 2:45pm. I explained to them the situation, but stated they did not have my cinnamon rolls that I'd had to go back. In asking for a refund, that's a whole other process. The lady said I had to go through a different process for that. She noticed frustration and told me that I could have anything I wanted from Cafe Lola comped. She was sorry for what I'd been through. I left with no cinnamon rolls, a comped coffee that I didn't try because I already had a bitter taste from the inconvenience. Eventually, someone else picked up my order at the said 2:45pm time and to me once I tried the Mama Llama cinnamon rolls they were extremely salty! The sugar bottom to be exact was too salty.

Maybe one time I noticed a loud car and a siren but for the ambience, I'd still choose to sit outside. Service all three times were great. I like to have my tea refilled often and every time, the waitstaff was very accommodating. I was even able to get an iced tea to go. One of my friends gets a matcha every time we go. She loves them. I got the Landwer's famous iced tea and even recommended it to another friend the next time. Both of us enjoyed it. It's very refreshing with a perfect blend of tart and sweet with a hint of cinnamon. Next time I'll have to try an espresso or macchiato. The highlight of it all are the entrees, as they should be. I was really impressed though. My first entree was the Wagyu Beef & Lamb Kabob Skewers with the herb salad. Wow! The skewers are delicious and the perfect complement mix of beef and lamb. The side of tahini to dip it in along with the grilled onion and tomato are very nice. The salad though is the reason I will continue to come back. I can't tell you everything that is in there but as a guess for most of the ingredients; parsley, cucumber, tomato, quinoa, pumpkin seeds, and pomegranate. Again....i say WOW! Delicious! I loved herbs and this salad has all the Mediterranean flavors that transport me to my favorite destination. Again I bragged so much about it, now my friend gets this salad every time also. The Short Rib Shakshuka was good but not my favorite. The short rib was large and incredibly tender. The poached eggs were good but the tomato pepper stew was a bit too chunky for me. The challah bread that came with it was perfect for the shakshuka though. You could pull a piece of bread off and the crunchy outside and soft interior made the perfect dipping piece. The presentation along with the other dishes was fabulous. The other meal I had here was Landwer's Famous Breakfast with two eggs & small dishes of the best tzatziki I've ever had, incredible guacamole, skordalia (which seems more like a hummus), plain yogurt with a touch of granola and berries, cream cheese and honey with bread. Once they served with the challah and this time with the Jewish bagel. I prefer the Jewish bagel (I think). They are both delicious! I was able to grab 3 Jewish bagels to go for $10. I had to bring some of their fresh bread home. On Fridays you can stop by and get some also. My newest bread addiction. Cafe Landwer is pretty fabulous and I am happy we finally tried them. Oh....download the app and you can accrue points for freebies later. Trust me, you'll be back.

The short ribs did fall off the bone when I had it, and their shakshuka was well seasoned. My friends did get the schnitzel and said it was dry. Their dessert was good! Overall would go back, definitely a nice venue for gatherings as well. Friendly staff overall.

Little Avalon is spacious and offers plenty of tables and chairs for dining. Their interior designer did a wonderful job with the inside of the eatery. Little Avalon reminds you of Catalina Island in the city of Avalon. Love the art work, fixtures and pieces on the walls. Along with the hanging lamps. So many pretty greenery around this eatery. We dined in and ordered Moms Breakfast Sandwich, Housemade Chicken and Waffles and Island Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. Mom's Breakfast Sandwich is similar to a traditional breakfast sandwich (fried egg, bacon and cheddar cheese) except there's avocado and hash brown included. The Housemade Chicken and Waffles was fluffy and moist yet the right amount of crispiness on the outside. The Chicken was on point tasteful with glaze and hint of sweet and spicy. Island Teriyaki Chicken Bowl was fulfilling with pineapple and asparagus and some the perfect blend of green vegetables. Can't wait to come back and try other food items on Little Avalon's menu.

It's lively and definitely gets busy, but in a good way. I got the Tres Leches Latte and it was delicious. They only have one size, which was a little disappointing because I absolutely would've gotten a bigger one. For food, I ordered the Avalon Burger with fries and both were fantastic. The burger was really good and the fries were solid too. You order at the counter and drop off the food. They basically dropped everything off and didn't talk to anyone after that. We had to go looking for utensils and weren't sure if there was ketchup, aioli, or any kind of sauce available for the burger. A little more checking in would've made the experience even better. But overall, the food was great, prices were very reasonable, and the vibes were 10/10. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be back!

Diego's Farm has rave reviews, prices were right, and food looked PERFECT. So... that's how we determined that. As we were being seated by our waiter, he mumbled something as another waitress passed by. I wasn't sure if he was speaking to us, and he explained, "No... that's my mom. She's serving a guy at that table over there who actually happened to give my sister her DMV driver's test yesterday. She hasn't received her results yet, so I told her to tell him "You better pass my daughter's driving test!!" Hahaha... Meanwhile, a few minutes later, a Vietnam vet walked in and sat at a table near us, and ordered soup. I told my husband, "Hey, let's pick up his bill." Which we did. His waitress (the mom) told him his bill was taken care of, and I suspect he thought the establishment picked up his bill (not that I care whether he knew the truth or not), so he in turn left the staff a hefty tip... I know, because I heard THEM profusely thanking him. So they, in turn, gave me a sweet magnet with a message of gratitude. And all in all... everyone had a super nice Tuesday morning. In a nutshell: EVERYTHING was spectacular (I knew it would be) from my perfectly breaded and seasoned Cobb Salad with Crispy Chicken, to my husband's equally perfectly breaded country friend steak, and mmm mmm those biscuits with gravy!! Ambience is lovely, parking is ample, prices are right. Diego's Farm is a no brainer... and so much more... like a big hug.
