The service was great really nice server and gave great recommendation! I had the club sandwich and the blackberry margarita. I really liked the presentation of the plate and the sandwich was really good, the bacon was crispy and the bread well roasted

Attended another luncheon and the service was great for our group size. I wanted to try their Dubai pancakes, but they were out. So I ordered the Dubai muffin but again they were out. The server offered me a complementary muffin as I was disappointed, but she thanked me for being nice about it and offer me a muffin of choice . I ended up ordering the lunch trio of French onion soup, and Five way grilled cheese with french fries. The french fries were crisp and I really like the grilled cheese.

Hostess seated us promptly on our arrival. Haley came shortly after and brought us waters and menus after a warm greeting. Hubs ordered 3 chorizo tacos and I ordered the Quiche Lorraine and a small side salad with blue cheese. We were so hungry after our workouts so sorry, no pictures of our meals, lol Our food was delicious! We did however take advantage of their current offer of buying 4 muffins, following them on Instagram, and receive 4 free muffins. Yes, there are pictures of those! One other note--they serve breakfast all day. We will be back!

Me and 4 coworkers went for lunch. We were greeted and seated right away. They weren't too busy at this time. The waiter came and took our drink orders. I didn't get his name but he was funny and helpful. I ordered the Brioche Cheeseburger and it was great. The fries were great also.

We were brave and ventured out for brunch on Mother's Day weekend and were lucky to get reservations at Mimi's Cafe. We were sitted 30 minutes after our reservation time. We were understanding as it was very busy for the special holiday, but the problem was we were sat outside in a very crowded room that had no room for chairs and so loud. Our waitress had so many tables, but she was the sparkle that made the experience better. She very quickly brought drinks and our food was overall tasty. We survived but probably will not repeat the experience of dining out here on Mother's Day.

Really good food and nice wait staff. Drinks are quite strong. Food is phenomenal. We tried the peach pancakes and breakfast tacos. (I was not a fan of the sweet salsa but just ate it like it was and it was perfect) The ambiance is adorable and looks like a neighborhood inside with fake balconies and pictures of bikes and things. Bathrooms are clean, and there is a large parking lot. We also saw that they deliver close by which is wonderful for people staying in the hotel circle.

We ordered take out and our dinner was prepared timely and to our specifications. We had the salmon cooked medium with cheesy potatoes and broccoli. The French onion soup is a home run and so so good! The Asian salad was fresh and crisp. The cake is more pepper than crab and not my favorite. This place was recommended by our hotel staff, it was very accessible and had a welcoming vibe

I went here for breakfast. I decided to get the chicken and waffles. It did take a minute for me to be seated, but my server was very nice. I wasn't too happy with the chicken. It reminded me of shake and bake so I won't be returning.

Roast turkey dinner with baked potato and green beans and side order of carrot raisin Madeline's (muffin tops), delicious
    Jeff S.

Everything was delicious with my roast turkey dinner, it was fresh carved turkey breast with stuffing, cranberry sauce and my choice of two sides, I picked baked potato with butter sour cream and chives and green beans. Also splurged on an order of their carrot raisin madelines which are basically delicious muffin tops. The food was less than $20 as of fall 2025 which is a pretty good deal. For a few dollars more, I could have made it a 3 course meal with soup or salad and choice of dessert but I wasn't that hungry. Haven't eaten here for many years but decided to try it again and everything was delicious! Great service too

Food is delicious. Service is friendly and quick. Ambience is French culture countryside. Very comfortable and cool. The waitress was very nice and polite.

For my dinner, I had the traditional Boeuf bourguignon with pappardelle pasta. My friends ordered the Steak au Poivre et Frites and Coq au Vin. We also had a great bottle of wine called Lacoste-Borie 2018. The last time I had boeuf bourguigon was about 20 years ago. a rendition of Anthony Bourdain's recipe, but without the pappardelle pasta. Et Voila's version with the pappardelle was outstanding. The freshly made pasta, not only added great texture, but also flavor. It prepared just right, too. The Cabernet sauce was excellent and offered a great depth of flavors. The dish also came with tender carrots, sweet pearl onions, and white mushrooms. All of them were perfect. The beef was rendered down beautifully and had great color and was very tender to the touch. The beef offered exceptional preparation and was an absolute pleasure to eat with the Cabernet sauce. Well done chef. I was treated to a house soufflé which was excellent. It hit all the notes: light, soft, and airy, but packed with flavor. The sauce that came along with it was very good. My friends, who are regulars here, were very pleased with their dishes as well. I have to say, both of their dishes looked amazing. The hospitality at this French Bistro is first rate. All the employees, including the owner, were very amiable and welcoming. They aim to provide an excellent dining experience and that's what they do. This place is perfect for date night, special occasions, or just to simply enjoy a delicious quiet meal.

It was also my husband's birthday so I really wanted it to be special! We got seated as soon as we arrived in a booth! We immediately were greeted by Nancy who by the way was amazing at that time! The food were amazing and delicious we started with Soup à l'oignon which was great then the raviolis aux champignons which was also amazing but we wished that it would be much more warmer... We then followed by steak frites aux poivre, we asked it medium rare not cut and sauce on the side and it was perfect it comes with brocolis and green beans in the side with french fries and ask for ketchup and aïoli which was yummy as well! We wanted to make it a french dinner so we also ordered a chessboard after the main course! We were so glad that we ordered one entrée as we could have not made it to the dessert if we were to do the cheeseboard and dessert as well! After the cheeseboard we ordered the profiteroles for dessert and a Cappuccino! The dinner birthday was a success I do recommend it for people that are looking for an authentic french restaurant! Cons were the ambiance it was a little bit loud and also they weren't giving any complimentary birthday dessert also, the bread at the beginning were delicious but if you want a refill they will charge you for it. We brought a bottle of red wine which was free corkage since we also ordered a bottle of white from their menu. But the corkage fee would be $45! Overall we had a wonderful time! And I highly recommend it for the food!

The timing of the food was very disappointing. I am usually understanding when there is a reasonable wait, but waiting around 45 minutes for the Steak Schnitzel Sandwich felt excessive. The Steak Schnitzel Sandwich was far too salty, the fries were underwhelming, and for a sandwich priced over $25, I expected the overall plate to be much better. I was the first or our party to arrive. I was given water and a menu, and the server checked to see if I needed anything else. Once my friends arrived, they were met with the same level of attentive service. With this particular group of friends, we generally share each dish so that we can taste a variety. Here the menu is small. I can appreciate a small menu, as it became apparent that each dish is treated with attention. However, it was a bit challenging to find dishes that we would all enjoy off of the small menu, due to our variety of preferences. We decided to start with the pâte and the rillettes de saumon ( an indulgent salmon spread). Both were served with baguette and butter. For our entrees, we had the truite amandine (almond trout) and the short rib. Honestly, all of the food had so much flavor and was perfectly cooked. I cannot comment on the pâte, as I did not try it. However, it was all I could do not to fill up on the salmon and baguette while trying to save room for the entrees. The trout was delicate and flavorful. The short rib was bold and melted in our mouths. For drinks, I chose the rose petal martini followed by a Cote de Rhone with my dinner. The rose petal martini was good and had fresh pomegranate, but I wish it had a stronger rose water/ rose petal flavor. My friend had a passion fruit spritz. I tasted it and appreciated the abundant fresh passion fruit. I really enjoyed the Cote de Rhone with my dinner. All throughout, the service was excellent. We were always checked upon, but never rushed. Even when we requested our leftovers to go, they held the bag in the kitchen, and gave it to us when we were ready to leave. All in all, this restaurant had great ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food. Make a reservation... if not, you will miss out!

Ended up at La Bonne as a walk-in on a first date after our original plan (Devo Diva) was closed…read more The restaurant appeared mostly empty, but all tables were reserved. The staff accommodated us at the bar with two seats after someone kindly scooted over. Food:The salmon was genuinely delicious - perfectly crispy skin, juicy flavorful tomatoes, and great execution overall. My date enjoyed her salad as well. For dessert, we both had the crème brûlée, which was good but smaller than expected and caramelized almost all the way through, leaving less of the creamy custard I was hoping for. The decaf coffee was excellent. My main complaint is portion size - I left still feeling a bit hungry after a $100+ meal (salmon, salad, two desserts, drinks). Service: The bartender was respectful and patient, clearly trying not to interrupt our conversation. However, this went a bit too far - I had to flag him down each time we needed something, which slowed our meal considerably when I was focused on my date. Atmosphere: Cozy and intimate with a living room vibe that actually worked well for a first date. The downside? It was uncomfortably warm despite the rainy evening outside, and the space is tight enough that you can hear neighboring conversations clearly. Value: At $100 for two people (no alcohol, one salad), it's priced at a premium level. While the food quality was there, the service and portions didn't quite match the price point for me. Would I return? Probably not - there are other restaurants in this price range that deliver more complete experiences. That said, if you don't mind the cost and value intimate ambiance over attentive service, it might work for you.

Wow. Just wow. My…read morebest friend had been raving about Wolf in the Woods for years, so she brought me here for my birthday. As two serious foodies, our expectations were high. This place exceeded every one of them. Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, Wolf in the Woods feels like a hidden European café you'd stumble upon while traveling. Sitting outside beneath the umbrellas with a cocktail, watching the neighborhood stroll by. It felt like a little corner cafe in Paris. Then the food arrived. Every plate was beautifully presented, but the real magic was in the creativity of the flavors. The combinations were unexpected, yet every one worked. Every dish had me wondering how on earth someone came up with these pairings in the first place. The Sweet Corn & Piñon Soup deserves a standing ovation. We literally stopped talking after the first spoonful. Rich, savory, slightly sweet, comforting and completely unexpected all at the same time. Both of our eyes rolled back in our heads. The Beef Tataki completely surprised me. The outside had a delicate seared crust, the inside cut like butter, and the citrus pairing made me rethink what flavors belong together. And the mushroom and polenta dish? The mushrooms had an incredible texture--like savory little pieces of mushroom jerky. I would have happily bought a pound of them just to snack on. Every dish felt like it was taking me somewhere I'd never been before, yet somehow felt familiar at the same time. Wolf in the Woods creates an unforgettable experience.

Ordering promptly at 5pm, our dinner arrived promptly and hot. I wanted to make sure we tried it all, so without further ado: The Poached Pear salad was delightfully refreshing, with the pistachio pesto adding so much pizazz. We also ordered the cheese plate because Humboldt Fog was on the menu, a fast favorite. Steak Frites were cooked to perfect medium rare, and the Duroc Pork Chop literally melted in our mouths, with the red pepper really standing out on the dish. Even the market veggies were perfectly seasoned and duck fat truffle fries were loved by Dad. After a life changing event, this meal was like a welcome hug home for our family and it really set us up for a nice evening. For being takeout, it was def 5-stars and I see why this is a beloved gem in the heart of North Park.
