Wow. We will be back. This restaurant sits in a plaza in Dania. Parking is free. We were there on a Friday night & there were seats. We didn't have reservations but I would still recommend you get them. They had a highchair but no booster seat. We used the highchair for a little then put the baby back in the stroller. The restaurant was very busy. The seats were pretty close. The appetizers were large shareable portions. Easily good for 2x adults. We had the caprese salad. The mozzarella was large and made in house! The size of the tomato slices complimented the cheese. For entrees, we ordered a cheese pizza and the zuppa d pesce. The pizza didn't have any cheesy pull. The zuppa arrived about 15 minutes after the pizza which was a bit late, but it was totally worth the wait and worth its weight. The epitome of an old school Italian restaurant at the corner of the RK Beachway Plaza with plenty of close parking. A line of customers to the door waiting for food orders to go. A large Conca D'Oro original menu from 1976 was on the wall which was shocking to see the low prices. Watched as pizza after pizza left the small restaurant. The side wall displayed retro photos of Marilyn Monroe and the Rat Pack with old Dania Beach and Hollywood topography. There was decent seating with schellacked maple wood tables with padded seats providing an intimate yet comfy atmosphere. Waiting patiently for the lady cashier to crack a smile but did not happen and was very busy inside, so no time I guess. Ordered cheese pizza and Chicken Francaise and I have mixed thoughts. The cheese pizza had a beautifully structured cornicione with zero flop but way too cheesy which overwhelmed the visual aspect and it needed more of a garlic zesty sauce. The Chicken Francaise had a lovely lemon zest and the chicken was plump and moist. May return to give the pizza another try. read more

As good as it gets. No it's not NY but as a ny girl it's great! The rolls are ridiculously good! The dishes are really amazing and I would recommend them over any of these overpriced restaurants- atmosphere of a pizza place, no frills just GREAT pizza. Highly recommended and don't dress up. One of the best chicken francaise dishes that I have had in a long time. The lemon flavor was light and semi chewy meat. Chose the mixed vegetables as my side and were good but the bread was hard and tasteless. At the end of the day, the food tasted homemade fresh and a nice size for the value. read more

Yes, I grew up in Hollywood and I never went to this restaurant at their original location on Young Circle. I I finally went to their second home on Dania Beach Boulevard. The food was amazing and I can't believe it took me 40 years to finally try it. Their pizza was delicious! The fettuccine Alfredo was amazing, however, as my hubby pointed out, it had more butter than cheese so the cheese that was on the table was added, and it took it to a next level. The chicken Parmesan sub was delicious. Although it's a 35 minute drive from where I am now located it will definitely be a spot when I head into South Broward or swing by Dania Beach Casino or run to Jackson's for my favorite ice cream. read more

I spent the day at Dania Beach, this Gem wasn't to far from there , the reviews looked good, and the food did not disappoint. I ordered take out, cheese pizza and linguine Alfredo. The food taste amazing. I should of known the food would be amazing soon as you walk up to the restaurant, it's a small hole in the wall, but everyone there was Italian, it was like watching the Sopranos . Restaurant was packed on Wednesday evening which was a great sign! A lot of people mentioned how good the food was and we overheard that and were excited! It certainly lived up to the hype. Conda d oro is the restaurant located on Dania Beach Boulevard. This is the second time that I'm visiting. Tthe first time I had calamari fra Diablo. It was excellent and I decided to try this place a second time on this visit. I have a chicken Parm with Angel hair, pasta. Back from another "snowbird" season and what I'll miss most (after the beach) are our fabulous Conca D'Oro meals. We have run the gamut of the menu and have still yet to find anything that would even remotely be deemed a "loser" dish. Still our yearly fave, their Chicken Francaise is a total stand-out. Light delicate lemon butter sauce and tender pounded breasts sautéed beautifully EVERY TIME. This place is so consistent from year to year and the dollar value is unmatched. Hefty portions of everything, fresh garlic rolls to die for and their simple Conca Doro salad is still a family favorite. Also, we partake in lunch specials at least twice a week for the three months that we're down there. Epic value! Can't wait to be back in November!!! We'll miss you surely until then read more

This hole in the wall pizza place is less than 2 miles from my home. I read the reviews, and constantly passed by, and eventually finally went. We went when it was busy, completely full. We weren't greeted immediately, however the staff was absolutely nonstop throughout the restaurant. Rather than a hostess, they have a sign in log for a table by the counter. We were unaware. Eventually, we were guided to the log and called to a table outside after 10 minutes of waiting with minimal communication. The customers were a bit older.. however that may just be the area in which the restaurant is located. The restaurant was clean, and constantly full. Just before we sat down, a group was leaving and raving about the food. They were right. We sat outside and were assisted pretty quickly, ordered the vodka sauce pasta as well as a small cheese pizza. The server dropped off some bread, our drinks, and eventually the food. The food was fantastic, extremely fresh, and flavorful. We left with a craving for it just a day after and have come back multiple times to eat in, and take out. The staff is like a family, and they remembered my girlfriend and I. They don't immediately translate their personalities to the warm welcome I now receive, but I genuinely think they're just a business trying to do their best. There is room for improvement for their service standards, but please note, there is no malicious intent, and they're extremely kind if you give them a chance. read more

The restaurant was pretty compact and noisy as it was packed with customers, offering a variety of foods such as: * Appetizers/soups/salads * Hot & cold subs/pizza & calzones/pasta * Chicken/veal/seafood entrees * Cold beverages & wine * Lunch specials & desserts After overlooking the menu I ordered a small pizza, half mushrooms and pepperoni (toppings was an additional charge). Within 15 minutes I received my order. The pizza looked decent. The crust was thin with tomato sauce, cheese, and my choice of toppings. I didn't mind that canned mushrooms was used instead of fresh mushrooms...I do eat both. Though I prefer my crust to be thick, I ate my fill of three slices then put the rest up for the next day. I'm undecided if I would visit this place again. Their menu doesn't intrigue me enough to want to come back. read more

I had the chicken piccata (minus the capers) and my cousin ordered the eggplant parmigiana. We decided to add on garlic knots - how do you not get garlic knots in an Italian restaurant??? I wish they'd serve some when you order full entrees...but they provide other bread. Since we ordered the garlic knots, they did not serve the other bread. I think they said it was ciabatta. Both dishes were served with a side. I had penne with garlic and olive oil and my cousin had angel hair marinara. It was SO good. Like really, really SO good! We both had plenty of leftovers.... so much food. And.....the garlic knots were fan-freakin'-tastic....add a little parm on top and close your eyes and lick the garlic on your lips....they are amazing. I come here often for a quick work lunch. The food is cooked fresh and is always good. The prices are fair and the portions are big. No matter how long I have in between visits the staff remembers me and my order. It's a cozy restaurant with not a lot of seating but it gives you the feeling of it being a local place and not a big chain restaurant. read more

The woman grumpy told me "put your name on the list". Then two gentlemen walked in and went to an empty table. So I placed the paper menu I was looking at the counter and said that I was leaving. I walked out, then turned around to come back inside to cross my name off the list. The wait staff was acting as if nothing had happened. I told them "I was sitting there for over 10 minutes and you did not even acknowledge me". While do recognize the restaurant was busy, the emotional intelligence level of this staff leaves a lot to be desired. The icing on the cake was a staff member sweeping the floor right next to me while I was trying to eat. WTF it's 2024. I was hungry on the way to the beach. Thank you to my Yelp friends, Britt and Sergio for writing positive review for Conca D' Oro Pizza & Pasta. They were right in saying that this place is really good. The slice of cheese pizza was fresh and thin with the right balance of sauce and cheese. I dislike when there is not enough sauce on pizza. Next time I would have them heat it up a little longer. I happily ate the slice outside on the way to Publix while I waited for my order of Clams Oreganata. When I returned, the staff were friendly and had my order ready to go. I have to give credit to the older gentleman that was working the pizza oven with a mask on. That has to be very difficult to say the least. I took the order and went to the car and ate a few clams outside, using the trunk as my table. They had outside seating however this was more fun. My dad used to do the same with the family at times. Off I went to the beach and finished my order on one of their cement picnic tables while watching the kite boarders. read more

Love this place. Started eating here again recently. Platters are huge especially the eggplant parm. You will definitely have leftovers. All of the chicken dishes come out piping hot and the chicken is pounded very nice. Haven't had a bad entree yet. The pizza is also excellent especially if you ask for it well done. Very little flop. Its just normal good every day pizza. Nothing fancy like you see at a lot of places that charge 22 bucks for a personal pie.
