Juju was the sweetest!
Cassandra V.

One of my favorite brunch spots in town! I brought a friend here for his first time, and the service was amazing, as always. Juju was our server, and she was an absolute GEM. She was very attentive, friendly, and had such a great personality. He ordered the chile verde Benedict, super flavorful and really good. I went with the chocolate chip pancakes combo, which was so good. We also tried the June mimosas, cute, refreshing, and delicious.

Yummy drinks that really set the vibe. The food was decently portioned. There was a wait to be seated but that was expected since this place is popular.

I think I'd have to try this place out once more to really give it a solid review. We came in for a quick breakfast and were seated immediately, that was nice. We asked to sit on the patio because it was a beautiful morning, but we waited for a good 12 minutes before the server came back out to take our orders. I don't really care for places that charge items separately (eggs -$2, sausage - $4, etc). That seems a bit scammy, like $14 bucks for 3 chocolate chip pancakes alone!? They better be exceptional pancakes! knew from photos that portions would be large, so we ended up getting chocolate chip pancakes, 2 eggs and sausage to share. We also ordered ice coffees - both the hazelnut and vanilla. The food was good. The coffee was pretty basic, but the presentation for both were pretty. I plan to come back and try one of their omelets.

Back to being my favorite breakfast place. The food is great, the service is very good, and the ambiance is very pleasant. The Mermaid Mimosa is pretty good too.

Our first time at the Mimosa Cafe off Calloway (in the NW Lengthwise restaurant parking lot). It's obviously a popular place as the line was out the door, but don't be intimidated, the wait goes fast. I had the Citrus Salad with chicken; light and tasty and my husband had the Chicken and Waffles. Both dishes were delicious and the perfect serving size-just enough to feel full but not stuffed. Props to our waitress who recommended the flight with the Sunset (with tajin rim), the Pina Colada, and Strawberry Delicious!

Finally a restaurant that knows how to make great Chili Verde!!!! It's been a while since we have visited Mimosa's Cafe. The service is awesome. Super friendly and very attentive. The chili verde omelette was outstanding. The spice level was perfect. The pork was super tender and packed full of flavor. The spice in the verde was perfect. Had my eyeballs sweating just a little!!! Roasted Red Potatoes were cooked perfectly. Nice crunch on the outside but yet tender on the inside. Awesome job!!! We will definitely be back for more!!!!

Great server. Bloody Mary mimosa was amazing. I got the sunset mimosa as well and it was yummy with the perfect amount of champagne and flavor. We sat outside on a nice afternoon and service was great. Our server Daniela was amazing. She was a joy to have as a server.

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday around ~10:30 am, and the place was pretty packed! Luckily we were able to snag a table for two inside, but there is also outdoor seating (who wants to sit outside in this heat though!). For as busy as it was, the service was not terrible, it's pretty easy to flag a server down & they are quick to get you what you need! We were pretty intrigued by all the different flavors you could get for mimosas & although the presentation is really pretty, I didn't really feel like it did anything for the mimosa taste wise... which honestly should have been a bit expected, but still a little disappointing. The Blackstone Benedict was just okay, honestly nothing too special, but they did poach the eggs perfectly & the chocolate chip pancakes were a pretty good size, it looks like they individually place each chocolate chip cookie on top which is cute-- also really liked the whipped butter! I don't think that there's anything on the menu that makes this place jump out from any other breakfast place, but I would say that the portions are good for the price! It's a nice place to grab breakfast with a small diner like vibe to it.

Mimosa flights! 3 fullsized drinks $21. 10 options. Monday bottleless mimosas w food $21. The menu ( which I didn't try) has burgers breakfast and starters. Cute place with plenty of parking. Close to shopping so this would be a great place to meet up with friends. I will be back to try more.

My last review was only 3 stars. My sister and I have went back 3 more times. We normally go on a Monday. Less busy but food was still GREAT! We have sat in the same section all but once. . Our regular waitress is AWESOME. We walk in and she's all ladies...do you have your list of topics? Why yes we do. Haha. She is amazing. The mimosas have i fee have gotten better. Service is on point. Food...so YUM! I love to look at the wall with different parts of bakersfield. Super cool. Till next Monday! Sis we need to go!

Chicken and Waffles, Chile Verde Omelette

Hubby and I tried this place out for the first time today. He ordered the chicken and waffles but added scrambled eggs and bacon. I had the chile verde omelette with roasted red potatoes. My food was so good! I was really impressed with the flavor of the chile verde. It was actually a bit spicy. I didn't try the chicken but I did try a piece of the waffle and oh my, the butter on the waffle was incredible. It wasn't your average tasting butter, it was more of a sweet cream butter. I also ordered a flight of mimosas. I had strawberry, pina colada, and mango. Very tasty. I will definitely be going back.

Patrons are friendly, staff are great, food is delicious. Ribeye, great. Good salmon. Great shrimp appetizer. Nice salads. Well made drinks. Not the biggest fan of the fried app platter. It's all pretty one dimensional and bland. Other than that, all food I've tasted has been good. Overall, a good place for a date. Actually took myself on a solo date and we enjoyed ourselves. Nice place to meet up with friends. 4 stars for the bland fried platter and in the summer, the AC wasn't the best- the lounge can get pretty warm.

At the last minute, I actually had to move my reservation by 30min, so I called the restaurant and they were very accommodating, which I appreciated. Being a Bakersfield native I definitely wanted to check this place out being that I had visited Chase Bank prior to the vault taking over. I was absolutely amazed by the decorating on the interior. They literally left no stone unturned. Every single corner of the restaurant is beautifully decorated. I do love the whole vault theme. It definitely just feels like you're stepping back in time. The food was fantastic. On a Friday and Saturday night, they offer a prime rib special. The plate itself ran about $52. But it was well worth it. The prime rib absolutely melted in your mouth. It was paired with a beautifully baked potato. It was also served with a side of horseradish sauce as well as Au'ju, We also tried out the brussels sprouts appetizer. They were absolutely amazing. Flavor was spot on. And I would definitely recommend it if you're just wanting to try something a little bit different. Our meal also came with a soup or salad. My wife opted for the Caesar salad, with house made croutons which she said was great tasting. I opted for the soup of the day, which was an Italian wedding soup. Again great tasting everything tasted fresh and was piping hot.

Even the manager came up and introduced herself and we had a nice chat. Smaller space than most bars but that is fine as for now, this place does not seem to get very busy. Even though happy hour runs late! The prices for drinks were more than affordable but nothing fancy. Your moscow mule for example will come just in a regular glass (darn thieves!) and not the slick, proper, copper mug that will keep your drink colder for longer. Again, think Denny's. Also tried a simple vodka drink and a margarita. They were fine. We went on a Fri night I think at 9pm when surprisingly, karaoke started. THIS was interesting. I was excited as it was listed as 80's night but as the night went on, 'anything goes' was the rule. It was fun but the same people went up over and over again trying to get their big break! They were having fun with it - we just decided to leave when the foul, crappy hip hop came on. The mood had shifted. There are booths, high tops and you can eat from the regular Denny's menu. We did not eat but what was recommended to us by staff were the burgers and skillets for next time. To sum up - this is a very casual spot to bring some friends and have drinks on the cheap with friendly service. And a diner menu if you are hungry that serves late into the night.

4/5 Stars - Great Food, Amazing Service, and Fantastic Entertainment…read moreMy wife and I visited Valle - Flavors of Mexico for the first time, and overall, we had a very enjoyable evening. The live entertainment was amazing--slightly loud at times, but the band had great vocals and played exceptionally well, creating a fun atmosphere. We started with, chips and salsa which were absolutely different in a good way next we had the Ribeye Sliders. You get three of them, which is practically the cost of a meal by itself, and they were very tasty. A great way to start the dinner. The onions on these were good, but they weren't grilled to my liking. I was expecting caramelized onions, and they were more like pickled white onions. Because of that, I'd give the sliders 4/5 stars. For our entrées, we ordered the Enchiladas de Mole and the Enchiladas de Camarón. My wife had the mole, and I had the shrimp (cameron) enchiladas. Both dishes were very flavorful and delicious. The only issue we had was that the mole sauce and the green sauce on the enchiladas were chilled or not even warm to the touch. Because of that, both dishes receive 4/5 stars. For my drink, I ordered the Isla, which tasted like a very strong piña colada. It was incredibly well made and easily a 5/5 stars. The highlight of the evening, however, was our server, Stacia. She was absolutely wonderful. When we received the check, we kindly mentioned that the only issue we had all night was the temperature of the enchilada sauces. We didn't bring it up earlier because we weren't sure if that was how the dishes were intended to be served, and honestly, it wasn't a deal breaker. Stacia was genuinely concerned that we had an issue and seemed surprised that we hadn't mentioned it sooner. I explained that I usually only complain if the food is horrible or if we've had an overall bad experience. Because of her concern and kindness, we were offered us dessert. I explained that I didn't really want anything because the meal wasn't bad--just not what I expected. Nevertheless, we were presented with the Citrus Cheesecake, and it turned out to be a very good cheesecake just the right amount and an good ending to the night. Truthfully, because of the one issue with the sauces, I probably would have still given this place 4 stars, but I likely wouldn't have returned. However, because of Stacia's courtesy, professionalism, and genuine care, we will definitely be back for another experience, and I look forward to hopefully updating this review in the future, with Stacia as our Server.
