Lilli and team did our floral arrangements for our wedding in February. The arrangements were more beautiful than we could've ever imagined. She took an idea for a woodland theme and just made it into a magical forest. All our guests commented on how unique and beautiful the arrangements were. She also made us a beautiful Wishing tree that just lit up the room. She worked within our budget and was extremely clear every step of the process. Her arrangements were high-quality and they looked like a million bucks. She was a delight to work with from beginning to end. I loved her enthusiasm, professionalism and creativity. Mimosa Floral did the decor for our wedding. First and foremost, it was absolutely stunning and beautiful! We could not have asked for a better designer to create the exact vision we were going for! We had our wedding in NYC and we knew we would have to pay a little more because of the location. We wish Mimosa Floral could have done a little more to accommodate our budget, but they are a business and we understand that. As almost anything in this (wedding) industry, there were things we could not stomach to pay the prices for. In the end, this did not take away from the overall picture we were going for. I did not know what I wanted for my bouquet. I went back and forth with Mimosa Floral about things I liked and in the end my bouquet was everything I didn't know I wanted :) We had one communication issue, but it was handled immediately and no harm/no foul! Overall, we were extremely pleased with Mimosa Floral. They are still a little pricey, but again, this is the wedding industry! read more

Lilli is amazing!! We have used Mimosa for both of our daughter's weddings. One at the end of 2014 and the second one last evening. I cannot describe how stunning Lilli's centerpieces and bouquets were - truly amazing! I found Lilli on a photography blog when I was researching wedding venues in NYC. She had done that wedding's flowers, and I kept going back to the photos, and finally contacted her. I cannot rave enough about how SPECTACULAR my wedding flowers were, and how many people kept talking about them! I spent so much time going over wedding blogs, and I knew exactly what I wanted before I hired Mimosa for my mid-summer wedding. Liili turned my vision into a reality. Everything was bright, colorful, sophisticated, "rustic chic," and AFFORDABLE. Lilli probably charged half of what the florists my venue recommended quoted me, and she worked extra hard to find creative solutions within our budget, or not much above it. Additionally, she took me to the flower district in NYC a few weeks before the wedding to pick out exactly what was local and in season. What a treat! Our handmade, handwritten/handpainted chalkboard seating chart also was spectacular, and just what I wanted. Lilli even had the idea to base the chalkboard artwork on our wedding invitations. She is remarkably talented and creative. She was fun, energetic, and a pleasure to work with. She is indeed the best kept secret in NYC. I wish I had another excuse to plan another event that she could decorate. read more

Although Lilli (owner of Mimosa) was recommended to us by the director of our wedding venue (Jeff Torem at Liberty Warehouse), we interviewed a couple of florists to be sure we found our right match. Lilli was by far the best -- she has amazing positive energy, is truly excited about the work she does, and naturally creates a unique, personalized wedding based on the sort of vibe you're going for, and within the budget you've created. Unlike other florists we talked to, she did not balk at our budget, but helped us to figure out everything that was possible (and a little extra!) for what we could spend. Lilli quickly felt like a friend we'd known forever, and we looked forward to our coffee meet-ups to talk flowers, candles, pillows, table cards, etc. We began the process by saying that we didn't have strong opinions about flowers, but Lilli gently and effortlessly drew out of us exactly what we wanted by simply getting to know us, our taste, and our priorities. The day of the wedding, she was as excited as the bride! She and her staff set up the most incredible reception room, cocktail room, and ceremony setting with chuppah. It felt like ours was her favorite wedding ever, though we know that this is most likely the feeling she gives all her clients! If I must give one word of warning, it's that Lilli's business is taking off and she is perhaps a bit overstretched. She never missed a major deadline with us, but it was clear that keeping on top of everything required her to work day and night, weekday and weekend. Though I hope she hires some full-time help soon, she is undoubtedly a powerhouse. Our wedding was over two months ago, and our friends and family have still not stopped talking about the lilacs, the taper candles, the floating candles in the windows, and the peony bouquets. Lilli created a magical place, and everyone felt it. We have already given her contact info to several of our guests who have requested it. We cannot recommend her services highly enough! read more

Everything we could have hoped for. Lilli just did the flowers for our wedding last week at the Green Building. From our very first meeting, we knew she was the one--she's so genuine and funny and great at what she does. As everyone mentions, she was really sensitive to our budget, and to our questions. (We were two brides, so, do we both carry bouquets? That kind of thing.) The flowers themselves were gorgeous, and she added great touches with the other decorations like lanterns and mercury glass votives. Lilli's wedding designs were stunning! She is very artistic and creative and has a keen eye for lighting. She stayed on budget and made good use of in season flowers and curly willows. Lilli went beyond what was expected of a florist in design and candle lighting, and she completely set up and took down all the decorations of the wedding. She listened to what the bride wanted, made suggestions and even took us to the flower market for ideas. It was a beautiful wedding! read more

Lilli is a rising star. We had a difficult time finding a wedding florist that would go outside the box and was comfortable running with our vision and concept. Lilly ran with it. She understood our budget constraints and implemented an amazing weddingscape that was spot on with our vision and budget. She handled everything from the rehearsal dinner, church, wedding party and full tent decor and reused elements in each setting.The tent was magical and working with Lilli was delightful. Yeah, Lilli! My daughter was married on Saturday at The Liberty Warehouse and Lilli created a paradise inside those walls. Every detail was perfect. From the moment we met Lilli, we knew that our flower journey was going to be a wonderful experience. She was creative, professional and definitely knew her craft. Add a great sense of humor to the mix so we had fun with the process. She listened to what our vision was and then made it happen within a reasonable budget. The room was spectacular! I don't know where to start with how pleased I am with Lilli and Mimosa. I wish I was in a world where I can be in constant contact with her! When planning my wedding, florals were on the bottom of my list - I didn't want to deal with it and I had little budget set aside for it. My caterer recommended Lilli and we loved her from the start. She is a wonderful artist and person. She didn't balk at my budget and instead, gave me several options; we ultimately chose the Flower Party. Two weeks before, we went to the flower market together where she took us from store to store and asked us what we liked. Every store owner knew her and gave her a hug. My husband and I chose what seemed like the most random flowers but then, on the day of our Flower Party, she chose varieties that all came together. The Flower Party, the day before the wedding, was held at Mimosa. She taught us how to arrange everything, provided tools and wonderful treats. It was a great experience to put together your own pieces with family and friends. I wish I had more excuses to have them. Florals, which were on the bottom of my wedding to-do list, became one of my favorite wedding elements. I highly recommend Lilli and Mimosa!! I only wish she was in Manhattan and closer for me to get to so I could buy arrangements from her all the time! read more

Working with Lilli, the owner and mastermind behind Mimosa Floral was an incredible experience. I would highly highly recommend her and her team to anyone! They are AMAZING!!! They are extremely creative, unique, talented, flexible and hardworking. I met with Lilli after meeting many other florists who didn't understand my less traditional and unique vision for an organic, natural, garden-like feel for my wedding. Lilli was the first florist to not only understand it, but to take it and run with it. She went above and beyond to create the a beautiful atmosphere for our rehearsal dinner inside a restaurant, our church florals and our wedding in a tent on a garden property. She completely nailed the look, feel and vibe we wanted to achieve in each location and the results were better than we could have even imagined. Lilli is fantastic. I hope I can work with her again.
