Before our visit, I called and spoke with Carla, who was incredibly patient and helpful. She walked me through all of the services they offer, answered every question I had, and gave us amazing recommendations without making me feel rushed or pressured. When we arrived, Samantha checked us in and happened to overhear my husband mention to me that he's always wanted to try red light therapy. She immediately offered us both a complimentary 10-minute session. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and only the beginning of how special everyone made our day feel!! My husband had his massage with Nadia and said he has never felt better after a massage. She appreciated his direction and tailored the entire tx to exactly what his body needed rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. He cannot stop talking about how amazing he feels!! I had my cucumber and honey body cocktail with Melissa, and she was an absolute angel. She was so warm and sweet, and the tx itself was incredible!!! From the moment she introduced herself I could tell she's not only exceptional at what she does, but genuinely cares about creating a wonderful experience. When I mentioned that we were celebrating our wedding, she completely surprised us by arranging a complimentary 45-minute couples Moroccan bath after our individual treatments. Blanca, the bath attendant, had everything beautifully set up for us in a private room with ambient red lighting, two huge tubs filled with essential oils and jets, full glasses of champagne, tea, and snacks. It was romantic, luxurious, and so so thoughtful. Just the perfect way to relax together and *soak* in this new chapter of our lives. When I called to make an appointment and was asked for the voucher information over the phone. I found that a little odd and decided to provide that info at appointment time. I was serviced by Eva. Overall the facial and little massage of the back and arms was great. There were some moments the facial massage was a little too much pressure for the neck/face area, but I was overall pleased with the experience. Once the service was complete Eva TOLD me to leave a tip of at least 20 percent. I responded "I intended to tip anyhow because I enjoyed my service, but you cannot tell me to tip or how much." I left the tip in an envelope where all these signs about tipping are in the service room. After I returned to the reception area Eva is waiting for aggressively pointing at the tip envelope. The lady at the front desk asked how my service was. I replied" I enjoyed my service, but after being told to tip and how much in the service room and now Eva pointing at the tip envelopes I'm very annoyed. A tip is not required." At this point I wished I had left no tip at all. This was a ridiculous end to what thought would be a great experience. If your staff wants a certain amount per person then include it in the price or don't promote on Groupon. No one wants to be harassed for a tip.
