Arrived and menus had a new name. Everything is now double or triple the price. Asked for mild, got spicy. Tikka had no cream and was gritty. Naan was burned. Lassi had no cardamom. Disappointing :( (Pictures are old and from when the food was good. Tikka is now brown and not that beautiful orange)

Delicious Indian food in kind of unexpected part of town. We were shopping down the street from here and didn't want to drive too far during rush hours so decided to give this place a try. Super glad we did. Both the outside and inside are not much to look at. When we first got here, there was only 1 other table besides us. This made me a little nervous wondering if the food was good or not. My concern was quickly dismissed once the food started coming out. Indian food is known for using lots of different spices, but not so much being very spicy. Not this place. We requested all our dishes (at least the ones that spicy level is adjustable lol) to be spicy, and boy were they spicy! This was the first for both of us when it comes to Indian food lol. Definitely did not expect that. We have only been here for dinner so not sure how their lunch service is, but beware that they're kinda short staff. The restaurant started to almost fill up completely right before we left, and the whole time, there was only 1 person taking order, being cashier, answering phone. He didn't have to serve food and had some help cleaning up tables, but they really needed more servers. We didn't think we could find a good Indian restaurant in Southlake, but this one is now on our list of places to come back to.

Very nice place. I ate the goat biriyani and it tasted very good. Spicy for me even though it was mild for them, but it's just for me. They were so busy last night but the 2 persons who worked to clean the table, took orders and prepared to-go orders, answered phone-calls were amazing. They handled all things professionally, with courtesy and kindness at all times. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this place. I was a vegan for a couple of weeks and at here. Their menu is vegan friendly and the meal had a great deal of flavor. My guy had a lamb dish and he said the lamb was so tender. The wheat naan was tasty and hot the spot. I can see this being a place I wIll visit often. We liked the samosa it was stuffed

Well lets just say I had to go through a slew of items that were in the menu only to hear that they are not available. The restaurant really needs to shorten its menu snd cater right. No Chicken sheekh kebab...no egg bonda...no salt lassi!!!....useless to come here all the way just to hear 50% menu possibly more not available.

Made every possible mistakes Ordered lamb, came in Shrimp Request utensils, came in nothing. Taste is not bad though

Soooo yummy!!!! I have never eaten Indian food and wanted to make sure that I ate someplace good the first time. This place had great reviews for a good reason! I highly recommend especially if you are bored with what Southlake has to offer...multiple discounts available also...yelp, Groupon and Restaurant.com Who knew Cardamom was so tasteful!!!! Update on my review....I went to an upscale competitor in the area and will have to say hands down Minerva is fresher and worth any wait..came back on a Friday and it was busy, word is getting out...service was still great. Since they cook their food fresh, there is time to visit and have some wine before dinner...appetizer, water chestnuts, was crunchy and flavorful with a mild-medium heat (I am wimpy) Order goat curry this time and was no

My hubby brought home Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Vindaloo to eat for dinner along with their Roti. The roti tasted like pita bread and wasn't what I expected. The chicken tikka masala on the other hand was so freaking good. They give you a great amount of chicken with curry. It was spicy but it had great flavor. Also it wasn't greasy at all. It had to be one of the best I've had in a long time. The Chicken Vindaloo was really good as well but it was super spicy. I think we found our favorite indian place since our last one closed. Definitely can't wait to go back here and try other items off the menu.

Our family comes here once a week and are always very very pleased. There's an assortment of about 15 different items, all seasoned beautifully, and plenty to eat. Some of our favorites include the Tandoor chicken (deliciously seasoned and very moist), the Saag Paneer ( so very tasty), Tikki Masala Chicken (just great) and many many more (they sometimes have an okra dish and a cauliflower dish that is simply delicious). We've come before in the evening, and I must say the food is just wonderful. I've seen some reviews were people made comments about the food at the lunch buffet time, but I've eaten it at dozens of different Indian restaurants in the Dallas and Southlake area (yes we LOVE Indian food), and this is by far one of the better ones. Management is always very friendly and very attentive. When you come, be aware that they get rather busy during their lunch buffet. We usually try to get there within the first hour they open.

Rather than focus on that, I wanted to see how the food held up on this visit. We started with the Wagyu Beef Dumplings, and they were one of the best dishes of the night. The filling was juicy and flavorful with a nice balance of Wagyu beef, ginger, onions, cabbage, and scallions. The wrapper wasn't too thick, allowing the filling to be the star. The Stir-Fried Hand-Pulled Noodles were easily my favorite dish. The fresh noodles had the perfect chewy texture and were tossed with vegetables in a savory soy sauce that coated every noodle perfectly. It's a simple dish executed extremely well. We also ordered the House Chicken Fried Rice. The fried rice itself was excellent--well-seasoned, fluffy, and flavorful. My only criticism is that the chicken lacked seasoning and didn't stand out the way the rice did. If I ordered it again, I'd probably choose beef instead. Based on this visit, I'd absolutely recommend ordering the hand-pulled noodles and Wagyu dumplings. Those two dishes alone made the trip worthwhile, and I'll be back to continue exploring the menu.

The restaurant itself is attractive both inside and outside. Upon entering we were quite hopeful that the food would match the decor. I started with egg drop soup and it was good but not as flavorful as others I have had. That would become a theme for our meal. The kid had steamed juicy dumplings and liked them, but she said that they were not as good as dumplings at Jeng Chi in Richardson. I tried a couple and agreed that they are not as good. They were fine, just not as good as others. The wife had beef noodle soup with broccoli and on the positive side the beef (brisket) was incredibly tender. However, the noodles were way over cooked and the broth lacked something. It did not have a deep, developed flavor. I had garlic chicken and on the positive side, the chicken was tender and the many types of veggies were cooked well. However, the dish was bland. It really had very little flavor, and I said to the wife that if I did not know it was garlic chicken, I would never have guessed. It was just bland. The service was friendly but our server disappeared for long periods of tine. The dumplings and soups came out fast, but my dish took forever. I actually thought that our server went on break or went home for the day. it was a really long wait. We probably would not return to this restaurant again.

I was sat quickly at the bar, and then seemed to be forgotten about. I did wait a while before a man came to me to take my drink order, and then things progressed quickly. Everything comes out quickly, as all of the proteins are pre sliced and ready to go. They were busy and the turn around is quick. They also do a lot of to go orders, and those were stacked up by the front door. I thought the quality of the fish was good for the price. I really liked the ginger dressing that comes on the salad, though it is a wild color. The gyoza just tasted like frozen dumplings you can buy at the store, and then deep fried. But they were good. The rice was cooked properly, and not mushy at all. The only thing I didn't care for was the California roll. It was super goopy and just tasted like mayo. I had to leave that alone. The atmosphere is very noisy and if you are sitting at the sushi bar, you hear the constant beeping of their order machine. I may try them again for dinner if it is a bit quieter, or takout seems like a good option, though there is no online ordering on their website.

I know it's not the same with the Plano location so I hope manager of this location pays attention to their patrons and ensure basic hygiene standards are followed. Ambiance is loud as well with kids screaming and running all around the restaurant, so overall it's a pass for me.
