Such a fun and unique experience! We visited as 2 adults with no children, it was about $20 for one ride, but there were two tracks you get to experience. The staff did a great job of spacing everyone out on the track to prevent crowding or bumping. There is an option to ride random, two together, or individually. They have a large parking lot and lockers available to secure any bags or loose items such as sun glasses and cell phones. Highly recommend! *Arrive close to opening to avoid long lines and crowds especially on weekends.

My fiancé and I love Alpine Coasters, so when we travel and find one within 2 hours, we check it out! Recently we were staying in Joshua Tree and learned of Mineshaft Coaster in Big Bear. After we finished work, we drove about an hour and a half and made it just before closing time. We signed the waiver, and made it quickly to our coaster carts. Safety checks and instructions were given and we were off! This one was one of my favorites because there are actually 2 runs. I wish we would have had more time to ride again but all in all it was a wonderful experience.

I wanted to start off by saying that the experience was really fun and beautiful to see! My family and I got to experience the mineshaft coaster with snow and as a Californian you know we LOVE snow. (Hahah) $20 per ride/per person & $10 for "small child". Although I think, for the amount of years that they've been running, they can do a lot of things to make the process of signing waivers, and buying tickets a lot smoother. If this is your first time, you probably wouldn't even know what each line is for what because they have no signs, or no staff, directing or answering questions outside. The little shed to the right of the ride entrance is to sign a liability waiver; we waited 30 minutes for that. Luckily, I had a bigger party, and I was able to send my mom and sister to wait in line while my dad and I went into a separate line to purchase the ticket. So, remember when coming that you have to purchase your ticket in a separate line, and once you have your ticket, enter into the ride line. We waited 1 hour to get our tickets and onto the ride. Until they find a different system to purchase tickets and sign waivers...just be aware that you'll be waiting in line for a bit. Side note: They also need to do some thing about the start of the ride. In order to sort of be pushed up to the first hill, the cart behind you must ram into you at full speed. My shoulder hurt the rest of the day, yikes.

Upside Longer than expected. At least 2 times up. The ride is fast and it was nice to be able to control your speed Downside Wait can be long during bus times. We wait about 1,5 hours Recommendation If you are with at least 2 people, I would recommend for 1 person to wait in line while the other person buys a ticket

Such a cool ride! Really fun! My kids loved it. We went on twice and the price was not too bad.

Pros: *Not as scary as expected *$20 for one adult ride *Little/no wait time *Instructions clear Cons: *Not so friendly staff *Pay extra for getting pictures/videos & can't record with your phone

Writing this review to say that Big A deserves a Big Raise. After a line that we thought would never end he brought our vibes back up entirely and almost made us forget the hell we had just gone through waiting in line for what felt like an eternity. Basically he's really awesome and felt like family right off the bat so I hope he can get paid a lot of money because he deserves it.

This was so much fun! It was our first time visiting and we definitely had a blast. Lines to get on were not bad at all and prices were decent. We will visit next time in town as my son and I enjoyed the ride. I recommend to visit and enjoy the time there.

So much fun!! You have to sign a waiver before any activities and each ride is a separate ticket.

For this most recent long three-day weekend in Lake Arrowhead we decided to finally give this place a try. We are two adults in our 30s with no kids. It is important to note that because honestly, this place is for children 10 and under. It is not for teens or adults. It is honestly pretty underwhelming if you are an adult, but it can be quite charming if you are a child. It is also $55 per person and $15 for parking which is a bit expensive, but I understand the inflated price due to the location and having to staff it. One thing about this place that is nice is they don't have a bunch of add-ons once you get inside, so you really do just pay one price unless you decide to get food as well. The other part of this park is specifically designed for people into mountain biking. They have six different trails ranging in difficulty from easy to difficult and about half of the visitors seemed to be doing that which we would go back specifically for. The activities for adults are pretty limited, so the main ones that we did were the bike in the air that goes around the rim of the property. This is the ride that you see in all the marketing and is the most popular. It was probably the most fun we had but it was honestly a bit scary once you get to the steepest point. It's about 50 feet above the ground so it would be quite a fall down. After that, we tried some archery and ax throwing which was surprisingly fun. After that, there was honestly nothing else that we could really do given our age and size so we headed out after that. This would be a great place to visit during December with children 10 and under because they do have Santa Claus and people in costumes and what not and each of the buildings is alpine themed and is very quaint. They also have a very large area that serves as a wedding location so I'm sure that is also another part of this place. There is a large free parking lot attached in front with EV charging available as well.

You have to fill out a waiver which is fine, but it is not mobile phone friendly…read more So we had to leave the line to go to two outdoor computers. They weren't very user friendly either. The workers were friendly and decent. The rides were fun for the kids. We went to Santa's Bar and Grill for lunch. It took an extremely long time to get our food, which was very poor quality.

Some of the other ones really require adults to do a lot of crouching, and here, it's easier for me to run and follow my kids. The ball pit is an excellent example of balls coated in dirt and grime just waiting to get toddlers and babies sick. Clear padding at the base of a main slide is tearing off, and still no improvement to the hygiene of the bathrooms. We've now come to expect to bring extra clothing for ourselves and the kids as it's just not as clean as it was before. It's also a bummer they took out the train, although we understand it was costing them a lot in maintenance fees to keep up. Still, we will continue bringing our kids. Owners if you're reading this, PLEASE keep up with the cleanliness of this indoor playplace. You have hundreds of kids a week coming through. The least you can do is to ensure a hygienic atmosphere for families to enjoy.

The weather was perfect for walking around, and the whole place felt peaceful and easy to enjoy. I've also been to the San Diego Zoo, but this one personally felt more special to me in a different way. I loved the desert setting, the open space, and the relaxed atmosphere. It didn't feel overwhelming or like we had to rush to see every single animal. It was more about enjoying the day, walking around, exploring, and taking everything in. Of course, the giraffes completely stole my heart. You can feed them for $10, and while there was a small line, it was absolutely worth it. Getting that close to them and being able to take photos was definitely one of the highlights of the visit. Overall, this is such a peaceful, beautiful, and memorable place to spend the day. I would definitely recommend visiting, especially during the cooler months.

I read the many negative Yelp reviews regarding an additional fee to visit the upper area. Thank goodness they were not charging during our visit, as we would have done exactly what many other visitors did before us and left. The small shops were lovely to visit, as all the items sold are handmade and, surprisingly, very affordable. One shop was offering 50% off EVERYTHING, so my family and friends definitely took advantage of the savings. This is a fun place to visit and to get away from it all for a few hours, as long as they do not charge visitors any additional fees, including parking, which, during our visit, was free. Thank goodness for anything free nowadays.
