Ok so I have always been pretty harsh regarding Ming Sing its my parents go to Chinese, I'm more into Mandarin Chinese cuisine is what I've come to realize, it's a little more well put together, many more flavorful ingredients, but if you're not going for a lunch special it gets a little pricey if your hungry, when my boyfriend and I eat out we spend maybe ten dollars less than what my parents pay to feed the family here at Ming sing and there is always plenty of left overs and the quality of the food is great I never find grisly meat ever, which is something I have found at yen ching, and chop chop and also dragon deli!! When their food is fresh it is great, I was going to take pictures so people can see how good the food looks and how much you get but I was starving and didn't want to get my phone from the other room haha next time though I will sacrifice, because it was good enough for there to be a next time. I've also had them deliver once and the food was just as fresh as when we pick up, so good. Don't get me wrong though I'm still a King Tsin girl I love Theresa and I love that cherry chicken but when it's time to be economical Ming sing is where it is at!! I have eaten at most every place in lodi and I have to say that I have been there twice in the last two weeks and I am definitely a fan. I ordered for two adults and three kids the first time and was amazed not only by the taste of the food but the portions. My daughter will not eat shrimp but she ate it here I was amazed and the fried chicken appetizer is off the chart delicious. I had the chance to speak with the owners son and he is a very very nice kid. Very respectful and appreciates what his parents do. When the service is so terrible you have to download the Yelp app in order to write a review. Yes this is that time. Used to be one our favorite take-out spots , but after today and receiving such disrespectful rude service, we will never be back again. from the Rolling of eyes, to the yelling across the restaurant to ask what we said, it was just too much and ruined our entire meal. I went in for a to go order, and the older lady behind the counter seemed annoyed that I was there. The food was pretty good though. I had the Mongolian beef combo with chow mein and white rice. There was definitely plenty off it! I'll have lunch tomorrow, too. I ordered for three people and it was only $20. I'll be back to take out, but I don't think I want to dine in. After all these years that I drvien by this restaurant, me and my family finally got a chancee to go in there and have a wonderful tasty lunch. We started with sizzling rice soup whoch was fantastic. Love this place! Friends and I usually go to Ming Sing for lunch a couple of times a month. Great service and great food! Ming Sing is a HUGE favorite of the folks here @ Blue Shield Lodi office. Went here to eat , but the lady up front was very rude . She was just staring at us until We told her we wanted to eat in and she pointed to a table so we went to sit . She didn't bring a high chair for my son and wasn't even talking to us or anything . I've have the foods couple times and was very tasty. my family decided to eat there and the lady was extremely rude, she gave two tables full of food before we got our 2 plates after waiting an hour. She even messed up on one of our plates and was going off on us, the nice man was trying to calm her down but that was really disrespectful and unprofessional. This place used to serve good authentic Chinese food until about a year I don't know if they changed cook or chef but it's gotten really salty. They need to go back to the old ways of their cooking style. Portions are decent though but can't enjoy due to amount of sodium. read more

As much as I love their food, I stopped going to this place because the owner (lady at front desk) is VERY RUDE, we got there about 15 minutes to close and she said she couldn't attend us because they were already closing which is understandable but one of the other workers interrupted and said he would help us. Oh dear this was a pretty bad experience. I wish I had something better to say about this place, but oh my gosh. Went there for Lunch with a Friend. I'm glad he paid because I would have been extremely upset paying good Money for this. I had the Garlic Chicken with fried Rice and Chow Mein. The Food came out in less than 5 Minutes which is not a good Sign. My Chicken was....odd. There was nothing garlicky about it and very greasy. My fried Rice had no Flavor at all...it actually tasted what I'd imagine Cardboard to taste like. The Chow Mein was the best Food on my Plate and even that was boring. I do admit that the Portions are very sizable, but with bad Food, who wants a giant Amount of it? I didn't even eat half and felt bloated all Day. I should have known not to eat here when I saw the dingy interior and pictures of the food all around. I convinced myself to stay with the thought that it might be more authentic because they spent more time making the food than updating decor. I was pretty disappointed, the food was alright, but it all tasted a bit off. Mom and pop Chinese restaurant for sure. The food actually did smell up to the parking lot. What caused it to be a bad experience was the fact that we were a part of three and the only ones eating inside (a handful of take out orders happened during our time); the older lady got frustrated when we asked her what a plate contained then said we need to look at the menu and walked away to answer the phone. Then comes another guy and he starts to take out order and I inform him that the lady already started and he started to get upset and sighing/breathing with such frustration and we had to repeat the order but at that point he was rushing us and didn't listen to what we were saying.
