Want really awful fried rice? Want Diarrhea the next day? Then this is the place for you. We order 2 general tso chicken, 2 fried rice, vegetarian lo mein, hunan beef and all of it was awful. The fried rice had an overkill of saffron, which is for indian food not chinese. The rice was over cooked and did not taste fresh. The noodle in the vegetarian lo mein was soggy and the general tso was overly breaded. The next morning after our dinner order, everyone who ate their meals had diarrhea. I took 2 bites out of my fried rice and threw it away because it was so bad. I survived the sickness but everyone else was sick. Will not be returning or ordering from this place again. read more

Just ordered for delivery. We ordered 2 egg rolls, and 2 pepper steak. Plus drink, $20.50. Not bad pricing normal I guess. It was a lot of food and it was delicious. Prolly the best egg roll ever. The lady who took my order as well as the delivery man were very nice! I wouldn't order a drink with my order next time because it's a can of pop. Best Chinese in the area. Finding myself crossing the county line to patronize this establishment quite often. Closed on Mondays.

This is my wife's favorite place in town. Even though the Ming's no longer run the daily operation it is still the best Chinese food around. It compares favorably with bigger city Chinese places. read more

Horrible horrible horrrrrrrrrrrible ! Cheap gross horrible food freezing cold in the place food was even cold ! Lol Iike to cheap to crank the heat? I asked if I could pay extra to have shrimp added to my meal lol the waiter says "it will be expensive to do that so you shouldn't" lol I didn't even ask a cost but ok! This place is truely amazing, on our trip to cedar point we decided to come here for dinner and we were pleased with... Everything! The food, the service, everyone was nice and it's a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. The food was wicked fast yet some of the best and genuine Asian food iv ever tasted. After reading the other reviews, I'm wondering what happened to me! It was freezing cold in the restaurant....are they cutting back on their heat bill? Our server was downright rude, slamming plates in front of us, rushing us, sighing like she didn't want to take our order, reaching in front of us, barking orders at us. I thought we were the customers not some pain in the neck keeping her from whatever was more important. It wasn't crowded and their weren't people waitiing in line to be seated. Then the food. Yikes! Our dinners were very salty but not very tasty. There was a long thin object on top of my food that I thought was a hair. Nope, it was metal. My shrimp had not been cleaned. Who wants to eat shrimp that's full of dark, disgusting poop?! I've had a lot of Chinese food before from all over the country. Food that tasted a lot better and didn't make my stomach hurt the way this stuff did. No way would I ever go back there or recomend it to anyone else. Save your money and your gut! I am pregnant and was craving Chinese food. After reading the reviews I had high hopes but, sadly, was extremely disappointed. I ordered chicken with assorted vegetables and a side of crab ragoon. This was possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I'm not sure what all these other positive reviews are about but there is no way they were eating the same place I was. Since Janice and John Ming turned their restaurant over to their distant relatives, this place is no longer the high caliber, great tasting Chinese place it used to be. For over 30 years we've been going to Mings, but not so much anymore. The recipes have changed and the quality of food has declined dramatically. At least Janice and her staff learned to speak enough English to converse with the patrons and take orders correctly. Not the new owners. Sad. read more

I've been going here for over 20 years. I practically grew up in this place. The food is phenomenal. I've tried just about every dish on the menu and they are all fantastic. In particular if you go there you must the the Go-Bah soup. It requires at least 2 portions but I used to get this as a lunch item and it was great on cold days. One highlight is the way the place has grown. It has gotten write ups in the local paper and received awards for the food. It is a family owned and run place, or at least the father still works in the kitchen. Finally, if you go there I guarantee that any Chinese place you visit after will not even compare to the quality of Mings. One final thing, along with the bill and fortune cookies, you get other cookies as well. The cookies are great. read more

THE PICTURE OF THE BAR IS FROM MEKONGS, not Mings! People are getting MING'S and MEKONG confused since their locations to one another are so close. Mings don't even have alcohol on their menus ! I've eaten at Mekong's and its wonderful. Mings has been here for years but I've never tried it so I gave it a 5 star so I would not hurt their reviews. Shame on YELP, I notified them about these wrong pictures from other restaurants etc but their form of reporting SUCKS, YELP gets a 1 star on this one. AND Mekong is majorly Vietnamese, Mings is Chinese. read more
