Glad there's now another Miniso closer to me, and I don't have to drive to Arden mall or Rancho Cordova anymore. This one is bigger and better than the Arden mall one, it may be as big or bigger than the rancho one, but I'm unsure. I personally like the Rancho one better! I think the Rancho one has slightly more of the beauty stuff.

Yay for another new Miniso in the area! I was so excited to hear another Miniso location was opening since I've been to the Rancho location. I thought the Rancho location was big but this location is huuuuge. High ceilings and in a busy plaza so you definitely can't miss it. They had triple the amount of items that they have at the Rancho location and the customer service was top notch.

I decided to check out the new Miniso, which recently opened in South Sac. For all y'all who may be directionally challenged like me this Miniso is located in the shopping center on the South East corner of Florin and Franklin Blvd. Directly across the street from the Home Depot. There are several round picnic tables with blue umbrellas just outside Miniso's main entrance. And there are plenty of parking spots available in the parking lot in front of the store. This brightly lit roomy store has extra wide isles and has a vaulted warehouse style ceiling with exposed steel beams. Upon entering the store patrons are provided with a hand held basket or a rolling wagon style baskets for shopping convenience. They have so many brands such as Miffy, Mini Brands, Hello Kitty, Rolife & CuteBee DIY miniatures, and Disney to name a few. On the East wall of the store is flanked with tee shirts , hoodies, cross body bags, backpacks, and tote bags. The west wall has cosmetics, bath and body, and in the rear of the store you'll find a variety of tumblers, lunch and bento boxes. I bought a few things to quell my Miffy fetish and I definitely will revisit this brand new Miniso in the very near future.

This flooring store was recommended to us by our friends parents who recently did a remodel and…read moresaid that they had the best prices around. We went to the location to see what they have and honestly, the store was huge and had lot of selections, not only on the vinyl planks that we got but hardwood and tiles and any flooring you can think of. Not only did they have lots of different designs, but also different thicknesses and types. Something to note. We did notice that a few of our pieces that we got were damaged and I called to see if we could return them and they said as long as it was not a large return, but they could take it back, but that if the return was going to be a large amount they would have to contact the the manufacturer. We definitely over purchased to make sure that we have enough so we're going to have boxes that are unopened to return and hopefully that goes smoothly. We did purchase our flooring on one of their payment plans of no interest for 18 months so I don't know if that plays a factor. But I will update my review once that happens! But so far we're very pleased.

They sell different types of flooring and tiles. They also have vanities, countertops, sinks, lighting, faucets, mirrors, shower doors/accessories, and much more. We saw quite a bit of sales and clearance stuff as well. We were looking for durable vinyl flooring that was waterproof. We saw a couple that we liked. We called our contractor and was giving the specifics and asking what details of thickness and such that we needed to be looking for. We had this sales guy trying to help us. We did not ask for help. He insisted that he knows his stuff. I understand he knows his job. However, our contractor also was giving us details and his requirements as well. The info was not meshing. We are trying to do a remodel from 8 hours away. We had a hard time trying to get away from the sales guy so that we could have a personal chat to pick out our stuff. Overall, great store with lots of options and sales. Salesperson too pushy. I would give 3.5 stars. Ample parking.

When I had initially reached out to Mauricio after finding his business on Yelp, he scheduled an on-site, same-day walkthrough to verify the costs of the projects, which were reasonable. During our preliminary walkthrough and a follow-up meeting, I greatly appreciated Mauricio's professionalism, patience, courteous demeanor, honesty, and consultative approach. After the wallpaper I ordered was finally delivered, Mauricio and his partner, Jose, started the projects right away. After they finished the projects in the evening and cleaned up, Mauricio performed a wallpaper installation and painting final walkthrough with me to ensure I was pleased with the overall results. Mauricio installed our wallpaper straight with nearly invisible seams. There were no major issues with the paint job: there was consistent coverage with NO roller marks/drips/streaks/obvious brush-strokes near the edges of walls and windows. They accidentally spilled some paint on our carpet, but they cleaned it up to the best of their ability so that it is barely noticeable. After our final walkthrough, he happily accommodated my requests to improve a few minor things related to the wall paint. He even offered to come by our home the next day if we noticed anything out of the ordinary. Overall, the entire experience from start to finish was positive. I could tell that Mauricio takes pride in his work. I heartily recommend West Coast Painting as a trustworthy partner for paint/wallpaper needs and we plan on hiring them again for future projects. Note: They offer a 1-year warranty on their wallpaper installation and they use Kelly Moore paint.

I haven't come in to browse and shop for a year or so since Hobby Lobby isn't usually my cup of tea type of place, but I was surprised that they've expanded (or I did not notice before) their games, puzzles, and books selections. In particular, I like board and card games and there was a good selection of games and it was nice to hold in hand and read descriptions to buy tangibly instead of online. They even have some clothing items like they had some winter beanies and hats on clearance from Christmas time. Dabbling in drawing occasionally, it was nice to see a big variety of drawing and painting pads to choose from. What surprised me was that some (maybe all?) of them were Made in Italy, which hopefully means better quality. The rest of Hobby Lobby seems to be made in China, so those paper pads seem a good deal in comparison. Another area that was a pleasant surprise were toys on sale here, again maybe it's b/c I didn't notice before, but there's a bunch of different little kids toys and stuffed animals and these squishy animal things my kids tell me about that are all on sale here even though this is supposed to be like an arts and crafts store? Maybe stuffed toys are "hobbies"? Either way, I found it convenient that I can get some gifts for little kids in my life (friends' kids, or my kids' friends, or nieces and nephews) here instead of having to go into a toy store which I try to avoid, especially now that my kids are older. All in all, Hobby Lobby is better than I remember the last I visited. I also saw many different sizes and versions of bibles and other inspiration books for sale, and tons of decor for home and the office. My wife purchased something and I didn't but the cashier was friendly and quick. So service seems good. Turns out this place is pretty cool and for anyone, it's really a big comprehensive place and not just for those into arts and crafts, Hobby Lobby's changed my previous perception of their store and I think I'll stop by once in awhile for some games, toys, and maybe books.

My daughter's uncle, his fiancée, and I brought her here after lunch to celebrate her birthday, and they let her pick out a couple of plants to take home. It turned out to be such a fun experience. The nursery has a huge selection of plants, flowers, pots, and garden décor, and it was easy to spend way more time browsing than we had planned. Everything was well organized, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just looking for your first houseplant, there's something for everyone here. My daughter was especially excited about the plants she chose. I'm honestly a little sad that I'm moving away because I know this would have become one of my regular spots. Over the years, they grew in popularity and I saw the new neon signage go up and am always excited to see their next new landscaping and added features. This is a split between gardening supplies and plants. They don't have trees like your average nursery, but more of succulents, cactus, herbs, and decorative flora. They sell tons of giants pots and has an indoor shop with cute gardening knick knacks. I've purchased many cute household plants from them. I love that the space itself is decorated to give you ideas for your next project. It's a nice stroll thru paths, gazebos, and ponds/water structures. There is an annual butterfly event when the butterflies migrate and stop by the Secret Garden's many passionfruit vines. During their summer events, there's rotating vendors. I actually found my favorite coffee from a pop-up here, which now they have a brick and mortar shop downtown, Burnside Coffee. Whether you're looking for ideas or cute plants, the Secret Garden has it. Sometimes it's just nice to stroll around their grounds. I'm hoping they expand more in the future and add more gardens and structures. Hopefully they can set up a picnic area and have more events.
