Came into KC to visit family and ordered a deep dish combo and thin double pepperoni and was not disappointed. My wife had a Greek salad that she claimed was excellent as well. MINSKYS used to be my favorite pizza. It's now so BAD and the customer service so disrespectful that I will NEVER enter one again. Today at the Olathe Minskys and then later at this location we had such poor service and one of our pizzas had two human hairs clearly baked into the cheese. It was disgusting. First, we called the Olathe Minskys 1.5 hours ahead and ordered our pizzas. Said we would be by at 530p to pick up. Got there and they said it was gonna be a couple seconds. Then manager said that they didn't have them started yet. Don't know what happened and would be 20 min. No apologies, no offer to make it right...nothing. We cancelled order and called this location to order same two pizzas. Said it would be 20 min. Got there at exactly 20 min. Went in and told it would be 5 more min. We heard "sorry, want a free coke". Ok this was nice. Took 15 min!!!! Got home and found that one of the pizzas had TWO HAIRS COOKED IN THE CHEEZE! Jeez. What has happened to Minskys? This was my very first time to Minsky's pizza. I have to say I unfortunately did not have a very good experience in the beginning. After arriving and being seated, my friends and I waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink orders. The table behind us had already been waited on, and they got there after us. Then we waited another 20 minutes after receiving water, before anyone came to take our food orders. So needless to say, not a pleasant trip. However, the manager Cameron did all he could to make up for the lack of service. He was very apologetic, and the food was actually really good. I hadn't ate at Minsky's in a long time because their service had become terrible. I decided to give them another chance after years and nothing has changed. The first time I ordered, my boneless hot wings were mild at best. The fettuccine was disgusting and tasted like it had been setting all day. The sandwich and fries were the only bright spot. I ordered the same thing tonight and was shocked to get boned wings. The sauce was hotter, but I don't think I would call it hot as much as vinegary. The fettuccine was fresh this time and again the sandwich was good. Two orders and failures both times. I gave them another chance, and another... won't again. 9/13 at 5:25...Called and asked about any additional fees for Gluten Free. They said none. After order 2 pizzas (1 lg, 1 gluten free small), I was given a total. Since total seemed high I asked for breakdown. They charged me $4 extra for Gluten Free. When I questioned amount I was told it was $2 for Gluten free so they adjust to 15.58. They I asked why the 3 topping was higher than the jumbo combo small. She stated she didn't know why. I cancelled the gluten free pizza and will find a different location if I want to eat Minsky's in the future. read more

This is my go to pizza and has been for a number of years. I grew up eating at the MInskys in Shawnee. We have lived near this location for about 5 years and order from there 1-2x per month (not because I don't love it, but it isn't cheap and also not that healthy). My favorite is the Cheeseburger pizza and my husband loves the Italian Buffalo. My kids love the cheese and their menu for kids is very good. We don't generally eat in, but when we have we have always had a good experience. Very family friendly. As far as delivery they are very fast and the pizzas are always hot! read more

Years ago, there was a Minsky's Pizza on Metcalf between I435 and Metcalf Mall. Even today, I still remember it as making one of the best pizzas that I've ever consumed. So, looking amongst all the new pizza shops that have sprung up in the years past, I was happy to find that Minsky's is still around. Was it as good as I remembered? Every bit, and excellent service along with it. We had the deep dish large combo - not greasy, but hot all the way through, the cheese perfect, and the sauce delicious. Would I go back? Out of town, tried a different pizza place then the normal national chain. Minsky's was it. I called to see if we were in the delivery area, and I was told they would deliver to us. We ordered, the lady on the phone was extremely helpful, and we waited for our dinner. An hour later, delivery guy shows, is in a huge hurry and is extremely inpatient. No big deal, they are busy, I understand. Well, he was in such a hurry they left half the order. I called, to see what was up, and all of a sudden it's a huge deal because we are a block out of their delivery area. They said they'd call the driver and call me back. No call, and we waited another 45 minutes. Same delivery guy shows, is once again in a super hurry, and splits. We got all we ordered over an hour and forty-five minutes. The wings were alright, the pizza was good, the salads came last, and the delivery guy wasn't near up to par. I get we aren't ordering from a super fancy place, but a level of customer service is expected. I called back to speak to the manager, and once again I was an inconvenience. I told her my concerns, and asked to take away the drivers tip, and got off the phone. Don't get me wrong, it's better than dealing with and eating Pizza Hut, but it dang sure isn't worth the money or the time. It wasn't cheap, and it took forever to get our food. read more
