Second time here. The green tofu curry is outstanding and I had a lemon drop cocktail to go with that was terrific. Quick, efficient service and friendly personnel. I live out of town and only can come when visiting the area but if I lived close by I would eat here ALL THE TIME. Reasonable prices too! My husband had the veggie rolls and they were also wonderful. This is our favorite date night spot. The twinkly lights, the fancy water glasses, the attractive and kind staff... this place really is the best. I've never had better sushi before, and this place has soooo many options. We like to get our sushi fried (called tempura I think?) and I usually get the golden Philadelphia role and dip it in the orange sauce that I get with my crab rangoon. We love this place so much that we even ordered carry-out on our lazy Valentine's Day this year. read more

As good as it gets with a mixture of Japanese and Thai food influences in the middle of Milford (who knew). It's on the pricier side but it's delicious. Highly recommend any dishes with pineapple in them and the thai tea is to die for. read more

Very disappointed! I'm here at Mint with friends and we had enjoyed coming here since Koto had closed and it's hard to find a good sushi place. I'd like to think that I'm a reasonable guy and I ordered a roll that was different from the standard menu and my server said he'd check to see if they could make it. Unbeknownst to me he delivered the roll, however the manager told the server to add an additional charge. Needless to say I was surprised to see the additional charge without my knowledge. I then asked to speak to the manager about the misunderstanding. If I would have know there was an additional charge perhaps I would have agreed or order something else, however the manager blamed the waiter. Although he should have come back and told me that there would be an additional charge the attitude of the manager came across as very arrogant and did not accept his level of responsibility to train them because I ask him if he trained them as his arrogant attitude was very evident. After some time.. I received my bill and the additional charge was not removed. After talking to the manager about their lack of removing the charge he did not care about what had happened to me or to the waiter. I will not be going back and it is my hope that this review will teach him that customer service and his responsibility to train his staff is important and there are other option and let him feel the pain and learn! One of my favorite places in Cincinnati area. The staff are polite and knowledgeable about their menu. The food is oh my gosh good! Love the tempura vegetables for an appetizer or a meal. So good! Everything from pad Thai to traditional Chinese food is delicious with large portions. I personally don't eat Sushi, but a few of my dining companions did and were quite happy with it. And lastly but not least, I've tasted all of their desserts. You really can't go wrong with any of them. 5 stars- and now I'm craving their food again! read more

I was fully prepared to give this establishment 5 stars for their food alone. However after I had paid and was in the midst of buckling my 4 year old daughter into to the car one of the wait staff approached me, mind u I am in the parking lot. I assumed I had forgotten something and he was returning it to me. No, he had flagged me down in the parking lot to ask why I hadn't given his friend, my actual waiter, a bigger tip. I was not only irritated I was outraged. It is my own business, right or wrong, how much I tip depending on my view of the service. Just because my bill was a certain amount doesn't entitle u to a particular "cut" of my total check. I used to work in food service and never once chased down a customer to try and guilt them into a bigger tip. All this experience has done is make me not recommend a restaurant which I felt had good food, good atmosphere, and until I got chased down in the parking lot by a bully good service. read more

First time I went to this place, an easy 5 stars. The food is fantastic. The second time? Oops. They need a kitchen manager. Our poor waiter was running himself to death trying to keep up with a massive sushi order from a table of about 8 while our food sat ready to go getting cold. I wouldn't complain but this experience was bad enough that it has to be pointed out. We waited 30 minutes for our appetizers. They need a kitchen manager and runners to take their delicious food out when things get weird. read more

We have tried Mint out a few times, and I will have to say that it is really nice to have a place like this in the Milford area. Nice vibe. As some others have noted, the look and experience is as something you would expect to see somewhere downtown. The music, look, and over all appeal was well done. Staff is very friendly, just a couple of them a little green on experience. Last, but definitely not least are the menu items. The food here is excellent. This is a nice new restaurant in Milford near the theaters. The service was very welcoming with lots of smiles and even a bow as we were seated. Wait staff was prompt and was knowledgeable in both the menu items and the "heat" numbers that you always face. I had the red curry and it was spicy but not scorching at a 2 level. The portion was just right and they did not skimp on the vegetables. They have lots of sushi choices too. The decor is modern, especially the funky light fixtures and it was a little weird being in a Thai restaurant with a techno sound track blaring. I found myself eating faster and faster. One thing that was odd - you have to ask for a knife. The place setting comes only with a fork, not even chopsticks unless you order sushi. That made cutting the pork in the curry a little challenging. Overall - a nice place to go before the movies with prompt service and reasonable prices. read more

First visit last night and we loved the service, the food and the decor; we hated the background music and it was a bit loud, reducing our enjoyment of this great new restaurant in Milford (more nice places are sorely needed, we love 20Brix and Padrino but we need more). Another noise issue was the blender at the bar area, the sound was really loud and we will ask to sit closer to the outside wall next time. The television was large screen but kept at a discrete noise level. I loved the decor, very calm, mint walls, black furnishings. We really were able to relax and enjoy our meal (blender and music excluded). I had red curry and my husband had a fried Pad Thai, we loved both. The calamari appetizer was nothing special and we wouldn't order it again. We will definitely return. I didn't see any children but there is a nice patio that might work for young children. If older children like Thai food this would be a great option. Limited wine list but fine and my husband had a pink lemonade that he loved. It appeared to be homemade. read more
