Really well done, fresh food. We got a NA Sangrita and it was delicious, super vegetal. It was our first time in and the chef was super kind and gave us a biscuit, which was insanely good. Like blew my mind. The preserved beets were so refreshing and acidic in a pleasant way, just wish there was a little more crème with it. We had the cauliflower too, which was so flavorful and we enjoyed it, but it was really, really oily. We also had the zucchini which was great but also oily. The carrots were perfect. The strawberry pizetta was also great but the dough was a little undercooked, but still really enjoyable. Ingredients were all nice quality and predominant in a way that felt like it celebrated the produce. Would come back all the time!

Great cocktails, overall the dishes are hardly any misses, paired off with a beautiful intimate dining. If you're coming with a big group, I would recommend making a reservation beforehand unless you want to be seated at countertop. Sangrita with mezcal: The mezcal makes it bit spicy. Very refreshing, slightly on the sweet side but you can still taste the alcohol. Brandy old fashioned sweet: Sweeter than the Sangrita surprisingly, very citrusy. My favorite from the two. Biscuit: I had to get this staple dish. Pretty much everyone had good reviews. I would consider this dish more as a savory dessert rather than a appetizer because this was SWEET. Great to end off a savory dinner and great to share. Cauliflower: Highly recommended and very underrated. Every single ingredient placed in this dish was well thought out. Steak and Ale Pie: Personally, I'm sensitive when it comes to savory dishes so to me the beef tasted saltier than I would have preferred. But the beef was so soft and tender. All the other toppings in the pie tasted phenomenal. The pie crust was had the right amount of crispiness and flakiness.

I was scrolling through tiktok and came across a video saying it was the best biscuit this person has ever had in their life. Of course, I had to dig in and see what she was talking about - the joint was called Mint Mark so naturally I booked a rez. It was a newer space in an apartment building and right away we really liked the vibe - midwest or Wisconsin supper club (not that I've been to many) / Frank Lloyd Wright with a good touch of Mad Men should Don Draper travel to Madison for a client wanting to advertise cheese. Our server was incredible - she was so knowledgeable about the dishes, gave good recommendations, and was super friendly. I will spare the suspense - the biscuit was amazing! All the dishes were very creative and interesting, and give the chef a lot of credit for that. Ranking our dishes from least favorite to favorite: Langos Donut Devilled Eggs Chitarra Biscuit Meatloaf The only one of those dishes I'd prob pass on if I came again would be the donut - the first few bites were good, but then I didn't love it. Other dishes - each one was excellent. For dessert, went with an interesting earl gray creme brule. Finally, I'd say Mint Mark is a great value - The dining experience you get for the $ - well worth it This is probably the joint I'd recommend to people who visit Madison

Had a nice meal and sat outside on a warmer evening. The patio is very nice and the service was great! The menu is fun and there is a nice variety from which to choose. We shared a handful of dishes but really enjoyed the roasted cauliflower and the grilled fish. Don't forget to end your meal with a skillet cookie!

I was seated at a high table for 10 minutes and nobody came to give me a menu or water when I decided to flip my experience around and move to the bar. Ok, I get it. It's a busy Thursday night. What would have been a 1 or 2 star review in terms of food quality, cooking style, service (at first), and value was rescued solely based on the wonderful service of my waiter/bartender, Jake. He did a phenomenal job in reading the room and noticing that I did not enjoy the overly oily cauliflower dish. His observant professionalism made up for my experience entirely. He was attentive and gave great recommendations to make up for the first two misses for me. Mint Mark is a hip spot in Madison but extremely overpriced for what it is. The menu tries to be creative but the quality of ingredients used, execution of the dishes, and overuse of oil just does not correspond to the price point they are charging. $16 for 3 pierogis and $33 for one piece of cat fish and a lemon is simply outrageous!

What an experience this was! I never made it to the old location so this was my first time ever. The space is so beautiful inside. The menu is very eclectic and it was exciting to try a slew of different dishes! I started out with a Carajillo Collin's and it was so delicious! Much better than an espresso martini. We then ordered 7 dishes to share between 4 people and this was plenty of food. The standouts were the heirloom tomatoes, langos donut, the biscuit (MUST ORDER), and the smoked onion dip. I loved the creativity of the dishes and quality of ingredients. I will be back to try more creations!

I love their signature cocktail! They recently modified it with ginger flavor. It is the best for the winter! Server always seems to be happy! I'm also happy to be there! Kitchen seems to be very clean - open kitchen. I brought my friends there last week, all of them enjoyed the atmosphere, drinks, some of the food, and friendly service. I'll be back again to have another ginger flavored drink! Still thinking about it!

This was a highly anticipated place for me and my partner. The food was hit and miss for us. With the cost considered and the size we were. expecting more portions for a plate they considered a shareable item. The cocktails were great though! The bartenders were great with recommendations and even offered to swap out the drink if I didn't like it. The ambiance felt like I left Madison and was in a new city which I loved! ordered: buttered bread chicken plate to share

5/5 Went for the first time to celebrate a special occasion and was so delighted I've been back twice more with different friends/family to try and show them how lovely it is. Full disclosure- my mom was overwhelmed and my friend was delighted so make sure you choose your audience wisely... essentially the menu is built around a few ingredients without much detail to allow chef the most creatively (I haven't been the slightest bit disappointed but this style isn't for everyone). The menu is constantly changing to match what is in season and Mint Mark works to source everything locally which is a huge plus for us. The ambiance/decor inside is LOVELY. It matches the entire vibe of the restaurant really well. Cocktail/drink menu is also always being updated and I've had two different cocktails now that I've thoroughly enjoyed. Parking is easy- in the covered garage attached and validated when you go inside to make sure you're not accruing extra cost. Ultimately Mint Mark is a higher price point restaurant and small plates style for sharing with a ton of flexibility/creativity built into the dishes. It's probably not for everyone but your foodie friends and those looking for farm to table type restaurants should be absolutely delighted like we were

What a wonderful dining experience! A beautiful interior that is refined but not stuffy, energetic and colorful. A welcoming and attentive staff. A menu that is as surprising as it is decadent (BISCUIT! SQUASH DONUT!) We definitely will be back to try the other menu items.

Definitely pricey, but everything was delicious. They have a very fun vibe, and there is ample parking in the neighborhood. I absolutely love their new location, there is even a parking lot! They do switch up their menu, but regardless, there will always be a biscuit, and that will always be the best idea. The staff are friendly, and there are certainly plenty of options on the menu, so everyone can find some thing. That being said, there are not a ton of vegetarian options so do keep this in mind. The pizzetta was a bit of a disappointment both in terms of size and crust to pizza ratio but it was still nice to try it out!

Came here right at 5 to beat the heat and a few small plates. The housemade chips with a smoky onion dip were beyond. I love beets and the earthiness of the beets w the freshness of the crème fraiche was perfect. Pierogy was unique and satisfying. Love that they have a mortadella pizza too. Excellent service!

It's like a cheap upscale restaurant in a good way. Wacky menu, fun flavors, smaller portion sizes but overall great food.

The service was absolutely great, and the restaurant has a lively, charming vibe. It does tend to get busy, so I'd recommend arriving at a reasonable time. I ordered the French toast, which was clearly their own elevated take on the classic. The flavors were good, but the texture was a little different than I expected and threw me off slightly. It felt more like a chic, creative version of French toast rather than the traditional style, which is the only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five. Everything else was fantastic, though, and I'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

I don't eat a whole lot of deep fried foods and that just seemed like a lot. I sat at the bar, and the bartender got to me pretty quickly and asked me if I wanted a drink. I ordered a glass of wine and a water, but had to ask him for a food menu. I opted for the grilled chicken sandwich with the side salad instead of fries. And then I waited. So long that the woman next to me made comments. People who showed up after I had ordered were eating fish before my sandwich showed up. The chicken was perfectly cooked, but completely lost on the sandwich. There was so much swiss on it, I could only taste cheese and bacon on greasy lightly toasted bread. The salad was barely dressed and just lettuce. I couldn't tell you what flavor the dressing was, but I piled the lettuce on top of the sandwich to try and cut some of the richness. I like cheese as much as the next gal, but it was a chicken sandwich. Even the mustard was lost. The prices are good, the actual restaurant was cute and just across from the capital. The portion was large, it just was lackluster.
