The meal was exceptional, and they adapted it to the dietary preferences of each individual in our party. It was our rehearsal wedding dinner, and we had asked for 6 fish entrees, 3 chicken entrees, and 1 vegan entre. Chef Julie is awesome! We requested a nice dinner for two in our home and Mint Personal Chef delivered! We emailed beforehand to select a date/time for our event and if I had any cuisine preferences. We were provided a sample menu and selected the courses shown in the pictures. I was provided a link to the on boarding form providing an overview of the process and payment. Super easy took a few minutes. On the day of Julie arrived at 5pm, we had requested to begin eating around 6:30. Julie brought in all groceries and started locating all our cookware right away! My husband and I relaxed and chatted as our house filled with the smells of yummy food. Our appetizer was served at 6:30 and did not disappoint. I'm still thinking about the fantastic meal! We also watched her work in the kitchen a little while and asked questions. Alas the evening came to an end and Julie left at 8:30, our kitchen clean and our stomachs full. My experience with Mint Personal Chef has been incredibly positive. Julie, the owner quickly responded to my query call, and we set some food goals. For me, weight loss was a primary concern, along with general healthy eating. Working with Chef Josh and Chef Yessie, we were able to tailor a meal plan that worked both as a healthy alternative to ordering food every night and something that my wife also could enjoy. Over the last three months, I have lost 13 pounds eating Mint food 4-5 times a week (4 meals, entree, side, and vegetable. Usually lasts multiple meals). The food is consistently delicious. Chef Yessie in particular has incredible skill in a variety of dishes. I look forward to her menu presentation each week, and it is sometimes hard to choose between all the great options. Some favorites include various steaks, balsamic chicken, cajun style shrimp, and coconut rice. We sometimes substitute out certain side dishes depending on how we're feeling, and the chefs have been very accommodating in that regard. Under normal circumstances, the chefs shop for you and then come to your home to prepare the meals for the rest of the week. We had this for a bit until the COVID situation cooked in. Since then, Chef Yessie has been unbelievable about delivering the food, still hot, to our door so we can practice safe social distancing. I really trust her to make sure everything is done safely, and so far we've had an awesome experience. The service does trend toward the expensive, especially if the chefs go into overtime beyond the minimum time requirements. We have asked them to keep the grocery bill below a certain price point, but for the sake of honesty, I think people should go into this service aware that the price per meal can get high. In spite of that, I recommend the service to anyone looking to eat healthier, lose weight, and have some delicious food tailored to your taste while you're are at it! read more

I hired Chef Julie from Mint to prepare a 4-course meal for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday dinner and it was one of the best decisions I made for the event. Julie arrived about two hours before my guests and in almost no time, my kitchen started to smell like heaven! We had a delicious flatbread for the appetizer, followed by mixed green salad, choice of salmon or chicken for the entrée and a flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Generally this company does meal preparation, however I spoke with Julie (the client manager) and she informed me that they could also accommodate a one-night chef experience, as a birthday gift for my wife and her family. It was a total of eight of us. It was such an amazing experience! Our chef Justin could not have been more perfect for our evening. He went to the grocery store and bought all of the ingredients, spent five hours making us a four course meal, and cleaned up everything at the end of the night. He left the kitchen as if he was never even there! He even brought candles to sing happy birthday to my wife. He fit right into the dynamic of our family and was talking to us about his family, movies, games, and traveling experiences. We played trivia while he was cooking and he was involved with the conversation and was being very fun! He literally made us feel like he was a long-time friend of the family and was extremely polite. We have a small family dog that was all over his feet all night long, and he did not seem to mind at all. He loved our dog! Working with Julie to plan the evening was seamless and Chef Sean made us the most incredible baked brie, spinach and pecan salad (this was surprisingly a party favorite), perfectly cooked ribeye with sweet potato mash and green beans and an apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. Shout out to Anna at Mint personal Chef. We were given a personal chef experience for a birthday gift and what an amazing gift it was. Anna came to our house prepared and ready to cook. She let us watch her make her amazing creations and chatted with us about her chef experiences. All her dishes were delicious and my family devoured them all. We had a Pear bruschetta with ricotta and balsamic glaze that was amazing, a yummy salad with toasted pine nuts and a delightful dressing. She made us a fabulous lamb and a cauliflower puree that made our mouths water. Anna toped it off with a dark chocolate orange mouse with a salted whipped cream that out into a food coma!!!
