She's basically a celebrity in our office. Marlene and her team make corporate catering feel so luxurious compared to other companies we have worked with! Everything is presented beautifully, it's healthy, fresh, and feels like it was made specially for us. Where to start....Marlene is absolutely the best of the best. I recently hired her as a private chef for a special birthday party for my mom. Her attention to detail is not only evident in her delicious food, but throughout the whole process of planning. Marlene started by asking what types of food my mom loved to eat, and worked with me to create a completely custom menu based on her preferences. Her organization and knowledge about fresh seasonal produce made me confident that it would be an amazing meal. After much anticipation, the day of the party finally arrived, and Marlene's professionalism and expertise helped make the evening flawless. She worked around others in the kitchen, and prepared an amazing meal for our 19 guests. The food was not only beautifully plated, but was absolutely delicious. The entire table (including many foodies) couldn't stop talking about how good everything tasted. From the zucchini noodles with panko breaded goat cheese, to the heirloom tomato and corn salad; each plate was incredible. For the main course our guests had a choice between chicken and salmon both of which were cooked to perfection. The portions were very plentiful and every component on the plate had it's own unique and vibrant flavor. Marlene's passion for using only the freshest ingredients is what truly sets her apart. So almost a year ago chef Marlene catered my birthday dinner. We fell in love then and so naturally as our wedding rolled around we thought hey let's reach out! Marlene is not only an incredible caterer but she is a true partner in helping to curate an unique experience for guests. Last night, I hosted a murder mystery dinner party set in an English manor in the 1930s. Marlene was so creative in helping to develop an authentic English menu- including beautifully presented trout and veggie pot pie but the main hit was the sticky toffee pudding cake for dessert. This was honestly the best in office catering we have ever had. I was very impressed with Marlene as not only did I need to cater for a group of 15 on very, very short notice, Marlene still allowed me to pick the exact menu that would fit for the group of people that would be in the office that day. On the day of the event, Marlene showed up early, set up the food quietly and was in and out with no disruption to the meeting that was taking place just outside of the area I gave her to set up. The food, wow! The food was top notch. We had chicken and vegetables, a spaghetti squash miracle creation, phenomenal potatoes, and a delicious salad. I never take the time to write reviews but I had to write something after the incredible work Chef Marlene has done for me. She catered my son's birthday party, a lunch for 45 people and an intimate cocktail and appetizer party for me. Each time the food (in both taste and presentation) has been outstanding and her attention to detail is beyond compare. She is incredibly creative and went above and beyond to make my events perfect- it felt like working with a close friend. At the luncheon the elevator broke and her sous chef carried everything up 2 flights of stairs with no complaint and once at the top, set up the presentation with incredible enthusiasm and precision. Caterers often serve bland, uninspired food. We've all had crappy meals at weddings and at corporate events, sat in line for yet another In-N-Out on the ride home. Marlene is not your typical caterer! Her food is delicious and memorable. She makes nearly EVERYTHING from scratch. She doesn't skimp on ingredients and doesn't cut corners. She puts so much love into her food...and you can taste it. Our office serves around 60 people for lunch each day. After bouncing around with various food providers for over a year, we met Marlene and have not looked back.
