I have loved Cathy and her girls work since the very first time. But I do feel I got ripped off for the last service I got...my house is approximately 2300 square foot with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathroom.. The very first time they charged me $300 for a deep cleaning... The 2nd time it went up to $360. Their work are good but not perfect... I set up an appointment with Cathy and glad she can get me in before the Holiday... I know I have to pay $120/per hour. Base on my previous experience with Cathy, they can finish the house in 3-3.5 hours... but it didn't happen this time.. it took them past four hours to I finish. I ended up pay $540... for a deep cleaning . It seems like they are less efficient compared before. They have same amount of staff. And they didn't even have time to clean my laundry room... I called to have a cleaning and scheduled an appointment with one of the cleaners working in Ontario. Super unprofessional. Never on time. They had canceled on me a total of 4 times. On the 5th, they were supposed to show up at 5:30. They showed up at 7:30. I adjusted my busy schedule to fit them in and ended up wasting my time. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to be understanding. She offered me a discount on the initial cleaning, but ended up charging me full price. The discount was the only reason I ever asked them to come. Team was supposed to be 3 people, there was only 2 of them. Meaning I was paying more for less. I would have been okay with this if they weren't incredibly slow and inefficient. Told me it would take one hour. Two hours go by and I ended up asking them to wrap it up because it was 10:30PM. 2 Hours and most of my specific requests had been ignored. Kitchen half done, Streak marks on all the glass, and dust untouched. Not to mention, they took a 45 minute break and I had to call to ask where they where. Alot of time wasted. I made an appointment for a deep clean at 1pm today $120/hour. This was going to be their first visit to my house therefore I rearranged my schedule to make sure I'd be home at 1pm. At 11:48am I recieved a call stating the client they were with added services so they wouldn't be able to make it until 2pm. As if that wasn't annoying enough I then received a text at 2:15pm stating they wouldn't be here for another 34 min. At this point they have exhausted my patience/I cancelled my service and will use a more reliable and professional company. My time is precious! The owner called to inform me the staff got a flat tire?? If that was the case at 2:15 her staff should've told me that's why they were going to run another hour late. I just bought a house. I don't think the previous owners were dirty people, but it did look like they probably hadn't really cleaned or dusted anything in the 20 years they lived there. Drawers and cabinets were pretty gross, the hood above the oven was black with grease and dust, and you could see a thick layer of dust settled on the tops of doors and ceiling fans. I was completely screwed by Home Advisor not scheduling an appropriate service for me (a standard housekeeping and not a move-in deep clean like I told two people while arranging it), and my moving-in timeline was shot. I contacted Mint to Clean, and Cathy responded. I told her my situation, and because of my bad experience already, I asked her to come out and give me an estimate of the job I wanted. She brought Jennifer with her, and because of a cancelation they had, they said they could come the next day. They brought a team of 5 or 6, cleaned my house from top to bottom, I just stayed out of their hair, and it only took about 3 hours (keep in mind I don't have anything moved in yet--I don't want to set any unreasonable time expectations for a job well done). She charged me the very reasonable quoted price, and I gave a tip I could afford. I would highly recommend this team to anyone who wants a job done efficiently, well, and at a reasonable price.
