Front desk lady older, short gray/black hair bob style is no help. Came in with c-diff severe…read morestomach pains and she was very short asked for id cards. I had the ones on my phone off the health partner app and she said it wouldn't work. I asked her how do I enter in my insurance then. She said I don't know on the app. Tried to do so and said what should I click here. She said I can't see it. I stood there trying to figure it out and she said you can have a seat. Didn't make eye contact once. Very cold and disappointing. Not the front desk service one would think they would get (even a little bit) at a hospital. The doctors I have seen here have been great to me. I have never been treated like this at a doctors office

Dr. Matusin is the WORST doctor. I called Walgreens to renew my prescription, they needed to…read morecontact the doctor. I went to the clinic the next day to pay my copay & told the front desk that I wanted to change my primary doctor. They said I had to make an appointment with a doctor and then request them as my primary. Dr. Matusin heard this and denied my medication refill. I found this out 5 days after I called Walgreens. I called North Memorial & asked why my medication wasn't filled. That's when the lady found the note from Matusin. She couldn't believe it. She said that she had never had a doctor do that. I HATE Matusin for that. I will NOT see her again & I WILL tell everyone I know NOT to go to her.

Getting an appointment is easy but if you want to talk to anyone after with a question or more…read moreinfo, good luck. You will be sent to voicemail and will either be called or get an email days later. I had asked if there had been any cancellations to move up my husband's surgery because he was in a lot of pain and it was scheduled 2 months in advanced. This wasn't worthy of an email response. Also the surgeon only performed hubby's surgery at Mercy Hospital (needed hospital vs. TCO surgery center) and Mercy copay for us would have been $3100 and has bad reviews. Copay at other nearby hospitals was $450, so we had to switch surgeons. New Clinic was much friendlier. Crazy how nice it is to call and be able to talk to a real person.

I broke a finger. I called the urgent care where I got x-rays taken and referred to this office to…read moresee if I had to pick up the images to take with me. Conveniently, they said they sent over the images when they made the referral. I was told to be there five minutes early since I filled out paperwork online, so I showed up ten minutes early just in case. The front desk person was such a pleasure to talk with and she was very kind. We chatted for a couple of minutes and she told me his surgery ran long, he would be 10-15 minutes late (to which I responded "I hope all is going okay... That's perfectly fine."). My appointment was scheduled for 2pm and I was taken back to the exam room by about 2:05pm. And then I waited.... The nurse seemed bothered by me telling her that it was odd I was taken back into the exam room so early when the waiting room was FAR more comfortable (she mentioned it was "more convenient for the doctor when he finally arrived"). I was told by this nurse that I was THIRD on his list of people he needed to meet with, even though I was the FIRST one of the three of us who checked in. Dr. Gerlach did not arrive until 2:50 PM, 50 minutes late for my appointment. I sat in a cold, empty exam room in the casting area for 45 minutes... The nurse checked back with me once after about 20 minutes. He seemed inconvenienced by my questions and concern for my own well-being and would roll his eyes and sigh whenever I would talk. When he started taking the tape off of my splint, I asked if I could do it since it hurt (I broke it four days prior) and he said "No, I have it" and proceeded to carelessly twist and pull at my broken finger. I was near tears saying "Ow, please stop" before I finally had to pull away and tell him I would do it myself. Once he was done talking (he said he would see me in 6-weeks, without even seeing the new x-ray that I 'needed' to have done). I was sent to x-ray and I didn't see him again. No feedback on the results of the x-ray. I had to ASK for the additional splint Dr. Gerlach told me I would get... The nurse (someone different, that I hadn't met, wasn't given the name of, nothing) who came to send me home, didn't know I was supposed to get one and had to ask me the number of my splint (they're numbered for size). I left severely disappointed. I'm a patient, not just a paycheck... I arrived there in a wonderful mood (and in no pain at all, actually), and left in tears, in pain, and feeling disappointed and unimportant. I left not knowing that I was given the best direction to heal appropriately. Had I known, I would have gone somewhere else. If it wasn't just a finger, I would go somewhere else to get a second opinion (it'd be well worth the cost to be sure).
