This is a review about Minuteman press located in Oakland California. The owner is Sedrick. I rarely write reviews, yet it was important for me to acknowledge and communicate about superior, expert services. Between October 2018 and May 2019, I purchased printing and design services which were provided to me by Sedrick and his staff. The services were for two funerals for immediate family members (October and May) and our wedding (February). For both funerals Sedrick designed and produced the funeral program with a photo history and the 3 ft by 4 ft photo poster board displayed during the services. The programs have become keepsakes for our loved ones. The typesetting was superb and the photo placement eloquently illustrated the life stories of both my family members. The paper quality was superb and created a very distinguished keepsake. For our wedding he and his staff designed and produced all printable items, such as, invitations (9-piece ensemble), thank you cards, oversized seating chart, dining place cards, oversized photo posters, and a step and repeat banner. The theme of the wedding was carefully carried through among all the items, high quality paper and materials were used. The printable items enhanced the elegance of the décor. Although I could continue with the admirable and superb workmanship examples, the most important aspect of working with Sedrick and his staff was their professional and caring attitudes. They were all courteous, helpful, informed, and willing to help. They are just nice to work with. More so, they are extremely customer-oriented. Minuteman Press on Webster did a fabulous job on some vintage posters we found in my elderly aunt's storage unit. they scanned in the posters, cleaned them up so you didn't see the tears and faded colors, printed new copies 21" long, and mounted them on foam board. they look great. couldn't be more professional. this was after taking them to 2 other print shops that said they didn't have the needed equipment. this makes me very happy! read more
