I had my appointment with Julia! I cannot rave about her enough! She was sweet and definitely listened to what I thought I wanted and what I was open to. I purchased my dress from Miosa on J street in January of this year. Due to the store's temporary closure my dress and alterations were moved to the Folsom location. At both locations, the staff are warm and friendly. I felt like I had the same privacy and individualized attention at the Folsom location as I did on J street. The woman (sorry I cannot remember her name) who did my alterations was amazing!! I know how to sew, and I could tell during my alterations she knew what she was talking about in order to customize the dress. I appreciated her frank honesty and superb talent as a seamstress. Alterations are expensive, but the quality of work that was done on my dress was worth the price. I am looking forward to wearing my dress on my special day! read more

I came here back in November and I was paired up with Mallory. And al I can say is she was absolutely AMAZING she knew what I was liking and not liking and she pulled my dress that I had chosen and I saw it and wasn't a fan of the dress till I put it on and knew it was the one. Had to write an update and add photos! I wrote a review when I purchased my dress and since then, I also purchased a veil from Miosa and it was so perfect. I got married October 30, 2022 and it couldn't have been more perfect! They say brides usually end up falling in love with a dress that's the complete opposite of what they wanted and that couldn't have been more true for me lol. I had one dress that was quite different from all the dresses I saved as my inspo on Pinterest and Carly took one look and pulled a dress that was so similar to it, and the dress I ended up purchasing was similar but in an a-line/ballgown style. I never thought I'd find my dress that quick but it just felt like my consultants knew exactly what I needed. I don't quite remember but I believe we also went over our time limit for the appointment (the store was closed) and I didn't realize it and even when we did and apologized like crazy, they were really nice about it and didn't push us to leave or let us know our time was up when I was admiring the dress and veil. 10/10 customer service read more

Forever grateful to Casey at Miosa for finding me my dream wedding dress. Where to begin, the whole experience was perfect. Before the appointment she reached out and asked for some inspo. And was gracious of the overload of inspo I sent her. The first dress she sent me a video of and it was everything I envisioned. It was great to get to connect with her before the appointment. The day of my appointment came and I immediately felt comfortable to Casey, like we had known each other forever. I loved the dress she had sent me so much, it was the first one I tried on. It was perfect! I felt like a bride!! There was absolutely nothing I didn't like about it. I couldn't believe it. I knew it was the one! Casey was great and allowed me to try others and explore a second dress option. She was so in tune with what my vision was and what I was looking for. I had other dress appointments and it would take a few dresses for them to figure out what I liked and didn't but Casey just knew right away! Without any doubts, I said yes to the dress with the help of Casey! I may still do a second dress and I wouldn't go back to anyone but Casey to help me find it. Im terms of covid-19, Miosa did a great job. The set up of having your own private room with dressing room is already the perfect set up for social distancing. I never had any contact with any other brides or their party's during the fitting. The salon was impeccably clean. Went dress shopping this Summer during the Corona Virus times. My consultant was Daniel and he was AMAZING. I told him what I was looking for and of course he brought me that, but then after trying some on and not feeling it, he went back and grabbed a few more dresses, one was not at all what I thought I wanted. After trying it on I fell in LOVE and that's the dress I got. If I hadn't had Daniel there to encourage me to try on different things outside my comfort zone I would have never found it. I had an amazing time at Miosa Folsom last weekend with my mom, my future mother-in-law, and my maid of honor. This bridal store is not only gorgeous with good lighting and beautiful displays of dresses, it has a layout that allows for multiple private groups to enjoy dress shopping at the same time. My consultant, Casey, was so wonderful and fun to work with and she definitely made this an unforgettable experience for me. I was very impressed and pleased that she had already hand selected a few dresses based on the selections I'd made on the online portfolio. She had a very good grasp of the styles of dresses I liked so it felt like it was a very efficient and enjoyable appointment. Since I instantly loved the first dress that I tried on, it was always the "dress to beat" and I ended up saying yes to the first dress! Casey, you are SO awesome. My experience with Sydney at Miosa Bride- Folsom was amazing! When my mother, my mother in law and I walked in the decor was stunning. We loved the chandeliers and decor on the walls and counters. The entire space felt so elegant and beautiful. When we met Sydney, her personality and style were very bright! She was energetic and engaged in our styling process. When we tried on THE DRESS Sydney guided us to a gorgeous sunlit area to see (and fall in love with) the dress in a more natural light. My bridal party and I had a wonderful experience with our consultant Kate! She was very personable, efficient, and I didn't feel pressured by her to purchase a dress I wasn't happy with. We did end up finding a wonderful dress ! In the bridal "high" of finding a wonderful dress, I did end up accepting to purchase a veil that I was feeling iffy about. By the time I called in (2 days later) they said they weren't able to cancel the order because the order had been placed and it is apparently difficult to cancel from that manufacturer. This part was the only disappointing part of the experience. So if you happen to change your mind over a veil, it would be best to call in very quickly. Overall a great experience ! read more

I scheduled an appointment online and when I showed up to the Folsom location, they couldn't find my appointment. Turns out I had scheduled one at the Sacramento location by accident!! OOPS! I had 6 family members with me and the Folsom location graciously accepted us anyways, found us a room that fit us all and Susie took great care of me! Unfortunately, the Sacramento location charged me $50 for a no show but I don't think that's the Folsom location's issue so I still wanted to give them 5 stars :) My wedding date is in May and we opted for a very short engagement, so not a lot of time to work with. Susie was very helpful in listening to what I wanted (not what everyone else wanted for me) and found a dress that arrived in time and was in my budget. She even found a matching veil that was on sale from their winter collection that looked like it was made for my dress! The overall experience was fantastic, the space was clean and calming (dress shopping can be stressful!) and I am very happy with the entire process. I wouldn't recommend Miosa Folsom. Definitely go elsewhere. I filled out a form after I made the appointment explaining in detail everything I wanted, including my size and other logistical details. A week before my appointment the lady called me re-asking questions I had already answered in the form. I understand she wanted to confirm nothing had changed, but a quick "Has anything changed since you filled out the form?" would go a long way. I did ask her if I could text or email pictures of the styles I liked, and she responded with No, you can just show me day of appointment. Fast forward day of appointment, we showed up and they couldn't locate our reservation. After 15 mins of them just typing in my name wrong we got into the room, and the lady asked me AGAIN what I wanted. I explained for a 3rd time and showed pictures of what I was after. Miosa did not have preselected dresses ready. Instead, she took 20 minutes during my appointment time to select the dresses and she brings in 5 dresses that were not at all what I asked for. The dresses were really dirty and trashed. The girls working there just dragged them along the floor to and from the dressing rooms/racks. I know they're not gonna be perfect as they're sample dresses, but maybe take care of them and get them cleaned every now n then? When I say dirty, I mean they were stained, smelled, and I felt like I needed a shower afterwards. She also let me know that they didn't have many styles in my size. For reference I'm a size 4-6, and most of the dresses I tried on were 10-12. She cinched them, but they felt massive on me and totally unrealistic. Our budget was up to 6K, and for whatever reason the only 7 dresses I tried on were under 3K. Obviously a major lack of inventory at this location. I had an hour and half appt and she spent a full hour assisting another room and trying to find what I was looking for. At the end of the appointment, I had only tried on 7 dresses total. She said I'm sorry maybe check out our downtown location, you may have more luck there. I was super annoyed given we traveled specifically for this appointment. Being a bit more prepared goes a long way! read more
