I had a great experience with Kyiah today picking out my vail. I had actually purchased a dress from another vendor online and when I called and asked if I was able to bring in my dress and try on one of their vails with it, they said of course! When my mom and I arrived, Kyiah greeted us right away and was so helpful. She was very patient with me trying on many, many vails and was helpful in checking if certain vails came in various sizes and colors. Additionally, I wanted to purchase a hair clip as well and the one I loved didnt come with a backing I wanted so the manager and Kyiah stated that they would call the vendor to see what they could do, I really appreciated their time and attention to detail and can't wait to see the vail! read more

The staff was nice but I purchased a sample dress and realized when I got it home that there was quite a bit of damage and that I grossly overpaid for it. I felt completely taken advantage of. I went into the wedding dress shopping experience a bit worried (thinking nothing would fit or I wouldn't find anything). I also didn't really have an idea of what I wanted. I knew what types of dresses looked good on me. But, overall I was a blank slate. Miosa was the first store I went to and Kait truly set the tone for my entire shopping experience. My experience at miosa was nice until it was time to purchase. The attendant was sweet and knowledgeable and I found THE dress. Little did I know when I booked, that they don't tell you the dress designer or style of any of the dresses (explained upon arrival). The place is high end and all but they quoted me $1488 for the dress and the designers suggested is $1259. I know my designers and was able to search their site for the exact dress. They mark up their prices significantly. I don't live in the sac area, but I would have purchased with them if they weren't so secretive and expensive. Bummer after finding a great dress. read more

I only had my mother with me and kept things simple but I felt very special and that all my preferences and ideas were considered. I happened to say YES to the very first dress she chose. I always planned to buy at Miosa Bride as it's one of the more popular places to go in the area. I was sold on buying my dress here and actually planned my appts so that Miosa would be my last stop where I was hopeful to purchase the dress. The store is beautiful, the rooms are private which felt more intimate and fancy, and I loved the robes. However, the experience was horrible. In contrast to Bride to Be, this place didn't even come close to creating the experience you are imagining. When we arrived, we were placed in our room and were told not to leave the room to wander, but that we could go to the bathroom in the back which is also where the drinking fountain is. No mimosas? No water bottles? Nothing. It took about 20 mins for our consultant to arrive and it seemed pretty clear she was new as periodically someone would come in to help her. Despite me "favoriting" MULTIPLE dresses in my price range in their look book on my profile AND answering all the visionary questions over the phone a couple days prior when they were confirming my reservation, they had no dresses pulled and asked me again what styles I was wanting (all questions I had now answered twice in the process leading up to the appt). Being that this was my last stop of the day, I had narrowed down the style I was looking for and it actually matched the style and comments I had made in my look book for them. The first 3 dresses were comprised of one dress I told them I liked from B2B (which they didn't even realize as they told me they didn't have the same one), and 2 dresses that were nothing like what I described and could only be made to be what I want with alterations. For insight, I asked for was a mermaid with a V-neck and skinny straps with an open back if possible. That describes SO many dresses they have so how is it that they couldn't even find 2 others that fit that description?? The girl clipping me in did not know what she was doing as every time she'd clip me in crooked and then just shake the dress and call it good. She made them super tight around my ribs and then left it open and loose around my hips so I was left with a muffin top every time and no shape around my hips even though it was a mermaid dress. The same dresses looked horrible here compared to at B2B because she couldn't clip them well so the fit was totally off. When she went to look for more dresses, she didn't return for over 20 mins and when my sister peaked out, they were just standing out there talking. In the time it took to try on, maybe 6 dresses, I had tried on a good 15 at B2B and they all matched my style I was going for unlike the ones I was presented with here. This appt also took over 2 hours long and most of it was spent sitting around waiting for our consultant to return. *I didn't feel like the customer service was great at all. *They didn't make it fun or personalized for us. *I was frustrated that the look book apparently isn't taken into consideration for my appt setup as I didn't see any of the dresses I pinned on there. *The staff were all wearing their street clothes and not a specific color so it was hard to differentiate them from customers. *For such a nice store, I would have, at the very least, expected bottled water. All in all, I went out of my way to make an appt to return to B2B to purchase the dress even though Miosa had it because I couldn't believe how unimpressed my whole party and I were after leaving. read more

My consultant, Jazmin, was very nice and knowledgeable throughout the whole appointment. Lucy was my daughter's dress stylist and I truly appreciated her attention to detail, friendly professionalism, and overall great personality. It was a delightful experience. Miosa's abundant selection caters to all sorts of tastes but Lucy found my daughter's dream dress after the third set of choices was presented. I believe she was genuinely as happy as we were, knowing we had searched about four other stores as far as the Bay Area. There was no pressure to buy, as our experience with a couple other stores offering discounts at the last minute, or saying the dress may be discontinued. I would recommend Miosa to anyone looking for a wedding dress. I wish they had 'Mom of bride' dresses too! The store at the Palladium is very open and glamorous like most bridal shops where each fitting area can accommodate a large group while still being intimate.
