I arrived with my Mom and sister months before my wedding date and didn't want to try on dresses (needless to say we had gone to several stores prior to Diamond and I didn't try on a dress at any one of them). But famous words "when you know, you know"... I found the one! It fit me like a glove! - but it wasn't necessarily my 'style' in the front.. but no problem! They altered it in-house to perfection! The front mesh was cut out from the collar and the sides were taken taken in, beads were added at the straps, hook and eyes to back, and when I flew back up from San Diego to pick it up- it was my Dream Wedding Dress :) Pictures don't do justice but the tears of happiness when trying on their dress and the passion that goes into their work, that does. I would recommend anyone and everyone to check them out- they can make miracles happen too. Side note: we got married during covid so we had to go to Vegas to get married with just us two but I WILL wear my dress again for our actual wedding ceremony with friends and family and I can't wait to wear it again! When the bride asked that he NOT be there, the employee refused to ask him to leave. So they ended their appointment early. Sir, nobody needs your comments on: - Vietnam/Thai being the best place for a beautiful, obedient, subservient wife; where women respect men and listen to their husbands (after asking my sister her origin) - That ALL women want to get married - Women like to wear dresses & he likes women who wear dresses - Comments on the length of their hair and how he liked long hair He was being extremely creepy, had no role in the bridal appointment at all and was just sitting there watching the bride and making uninvited comments.

Before my appointment, I had a video call with Sandra, the owner, to chat about what I was looking for so she could have some dresses already pulled for me to try on when I went in. The dress I purchased was the second one I tried on, but I still had fun trying on all of the other dresses. Sandra clearly has a keen eye for design, and there were dresses to fit pretty much any style in the shop. I loved that each dress is limited production, so I knew my dress would be unique! Sandra made me feel so comfortable and beautiful throughout my whole appointment. When my wife went for her appointment, it was her first experience shopping for a wedding dress and she was very anxious going in. I had already purchased my dress and Sandra made sure my dress was nowhere in the shop so we wouldn't accidentally purchase the same dress! She had a wonderful experience that put her at ease and got to try on several options. She was certain going in that she wasn't going to purchase anything but found her dress that day! I am happy to say that my experience at this bridal shop exceeded all of my expectations. Melody was my stylist and was phenomenal. She was patience, kind, listened to what I was drawn to, and pulled amazing dresses. Towards the end of my appointment I was torn between two dresses. With another party right behind mine, Melody suggested we come back at the end of the day to try the two contenders back on and to take some time to think about it. My party and I went to lunch, reflected on the dresses, and came back at the end of the day to revisit the two. At this time, all the other clients were gone and it was just my party, Melody, and one other stylist in the shop. I tried the two back on and was able to make my final decision and find my wedding dress! Melody never rushed me or seemed irritated that she was staying longer at work to help me find my dress. She also took into consideration my price range, and was always transparent about dresses being a couple hundred dollars over my budget. Two of my best friends were also present (one in person and the other was on FaceTime), and she even got a tripod for my phone to be placed on when trying dresses so he could see everything better! Supporting character(s) experience…read more.. As the Big Sis and Maid of Honor (MOH), it was one of my duties to help an 'out-of-town' bride secure bridal shop appointments in Sacramento. This was the first stop on our second day (not consecutive) in the hunt for the perfect dress. Grace and White Bridal came highly recommended by a handful of friends, so we had to make an appointment here. I tried to make the appointment for the bride, but due to the questions asked, I couldn't and didn't want to answer them. They were personal and preferential, so I actually had to have her make the appointment. Also, this is the ONLY bridal shop in Sacramento that actually makes a bride pay for their first appointment. It cost $30 for the appointment, so I guess we paid for our own champs ;) And to note, which their website notes, the $30 fee will go toward your dress if you find one there. We were kindly greeted by our sales associate (SA). I wish I could remember her name. I do remember I loved her dress and she easily shared where she bought it and how recently -- yes, I did go buy it :) Back on track, there was a group of us - bride, MOTB, MIL, MOH, Cousin, and a bridesmaid surprised us by joining shortly after we sat down. The SA was extremely kind and offered us glasses of champs while we waited for the bride to try on her first dress. I will say, she was understaffed, because she was dealing with what seemed like an emergency on the phone and trying to service us while we were there in person. She did the best she could, but I believe it would have been a better experience if she wasn't having to multitask. The brick interior is welcoming with tons of fresh light from the many windows. It is very inviting and feels extremely clean. The interior decor is very similar to many bridal shops, but still super cute. Fun and eclectic furniture, but open and inviting. If you are a bride looking to try on 20+ dresses, this might not be your spot. It's a small, local bridal shop. They have more than 20 dresses, but their inventory is on the smaller side. They have lots of beautiful options, in varying price ranges, but they are only as big as they can be. They also had a 'sale' rack with dresses that were as-is and 'last ones' available. Might be of interest if you are cost sensitive. Overall, it was a nice experience. Not our favorite, but nothing was bad at all. We enjoyed our time there, even though the bride did not find her dress there. Bridal dress shopping is surely an experience...

She helped me figure out exactly what style I was looking for and did an amazing job picking dresses she thought I would love. She also did a great job respecting my budget and only pulled dresses within my price range, which made the experience so much less stressful. She answered all of our questions and was even so accommodating when we left to visit another bridal shop and came back later to purchase my dress that she picked out for me! EXTREMELY disappointed in the fit of the dress in the chest area (aka boobs)…read more Purchased a dress at Occasions by Miosa in Folsom for a 2026 summer wedding. Staff took my measurements: chest, waist, hips. Then told me I was a size 2. I questioned a size 2 because the dress I tried on was a 6 and too snug. A separate gal then said I'm a size 10, maybe an 8, but the dresses run small. So she recommended I order the 10 to make sure it was large enough to fit my 29" waist measurement. Well, I have the dress and it does fit my waist, but I need a WHOOOOOOLE lot more boob to fill the ginormous, pre-cast, chest cups sewn into the dress. My chest is a 34 B, which they measured and wrote down in my info. I met with their seamstress and she can't alter the dress because of the style of the bodice and how it overlays the ginormous cups. But she did tell me I can "get a push-up bra AND some bra fillers/push-up enhancers and it will help fill the gap." Help??? If I wanted big boobs I'd have the surgery. But I'm happy with my little gals. For the record, I tried her recommendations and with both a push up bra and the bra fillers in place, the cups are still half empty. Or are they half-full...? Either way, the poor fit in this area is upsetting. Paying hundreds of dollars for a dress and waiting 6 weeks for it to be assembled and delivered, I (naively) expected ALL of my measurements to be taken into account when the dress was made.... So it would fit, not require a push up bra and inserts to attempt to fill the cup space. Staff was helpful in the color options available, and making darn sure I signed all the paperwork saying there are no take backs... But they failed to inform the buyer the dress will fit the largest measurement on your body and the rest of the fit is a crap shoot, and their alterations department may, or may not, be able to fix a problem... One final note... when I picked up the dress, it was very wrinkled (it's chiffon). and I asked if they steam it so it's ready to wear... Yes, they will for $15 dollars. Lordy lord! Please, let me walk out of your shop with my $400 dress steamed and ready to wear. Tried to shop local. Didn't work out so well for me. MH
