I had a chip appear at the bottom of a fiberglass bathtub. I don't recall ever dropping anything on it, so I was worried that it was the bathtub itself starting to fail. One guy said it was too bad and couldn't fix it, the other guy tried charging $2,000 and was going to drive up from OR or something. He sanded down the tub to show and explain to me why my tub was bubbling while reassuring me that he has fixed these issues in the past. DAY 2: We inspected the tub together and noticed a small crack on the bottom, (TIP: Make sure you inspect the tub together on day 2 before the final coating is applied). Eric assured me that sometimes it does reappear and proceeded to repatch the small cracked area while finishing up the rest of the work needed. 4.5/5 Conclusion: Overall, a great experience. Feels like we have a new shower and tub in both bathrooms without the work and expense of redoing the bathroom completely. Ryan was great to work with in figuring out colors and getting us on the schedule 2 weeks after we met with him. Hans did the work in the bathroom and did an excellent job. He was very friendly and communicated to us each day with what he was doing and what he would do the next day. Always felt like we were in the loop as to what was happening. I was initially super excited to do the countertop refinishing in our kitchen. The service was scheduled promptly, and we got a lot of compliments when it was done! Unfortunately, it didn't even last a month before we got several chips in the countertops (with typical everyday use). It took an email and several phone calls for the company to respond to me and each time I was told "we'll have to get back to you" followed by a lack of follow up. After much persistence on my end, I was finally told the damage was my fault and not covered under warranty. The charge to do even a small touch up (like fingerprint sized) is quite high. Have to say that the counter tops went in pretty well. I'm getting ready to sell my place and it was a cheaper solution than replacing with new counter tops. However, have to give the company two stars based on the damage that happened during tear down and their response when I let them know. When they enter the place they tape your place up as much as possible to prevent the coating from getting onto other surfaces. While they did miss some areas (my mirror has little specs of the material and so does my dishwasher and cabinets) when tearing down they tore of chunks of paint. I understand that when you tape you might pull off some paint...but I have foot long chunks. Even worse...when I called to let them know she just argued with me that it will happen and that's why you sign a waiver. As a business owner you shouldn't just argue with your customer. read more

I recently used this company to refinish a shower pan, which was gross but not horrific. I called three different companies for bids, and they were all in the same ballpark. MM had a coupon in the Seattle Times, so I went with them. Also, my painter recommended them based on another of his customer's experiences. Their customer service on the phone and their service technician were wonderful--professional and no-nonsense. The service technician (Teonn) was super tidy in the house & very fastidious about the job. Since the work was only done a week ago, and the shower has not been used, I cannot testify to the durability of the finish. But it does come with a five-year warrantee, so I figure it will probably hold up. I would recommend them. Am updating my review in August--just a few months after the surface was refinished. The job is holding up, but whatever the surface is made of, it is very difficult to clean properly. It's not at all like a porcelain material, and is much harder to get clean. read more

An absolute pleasure to work with -a rarity as those of you who've done any residential remodeling/renovation work will know. We called Miracle Method on Monday and had an appointment on Thursday to refinish a bathtub. We were pleasantly surprised since Seattle's burgeoning (insane? wild? lost-its-mind growth?) real estate market has led to long waitlists and inflated prices (not to mention inflated egos). They quoted $675 over the phone, but also requested a follow-up email with photos in case our bathtub required any additional work -a fair approach which we appreciated. The job would take 2 days. Juan arrived promptly at 8:30AM, as promised, and began setting everything up. He covered every inch of the bathroom with plastic wrap, which took some time; he then set up a long ventilation pipe from the bathroom leading outside off our balcony -we loved this since most of the smelly fumes from the chemicals were piped directly out and away. It took about 3 hours for the first day of work; there was definitely a smell, but compared to our first tub remodeling experience (with a company that did not ventilate), it was like day and night. Juan came back on Friday to remove all the wrapping, caulk, and check on the tub. Final result: it looked and looks AMAZING -like a brand new tub. It was perfect work. Very glossy, perfectly smooth and exactly what we were hoping for. Miracle Method is a big company with smaller, local franchises so you can also feel good about supporting your local business while benefitting from the structure and processes of a bigger company. The bathroom sink was really worn out with scratches so deep we could see the porcelain underneath it. Archiel, did a terrific job from start to finish; he covered the floor and walls floor for protection. My husband and I just bought a home and the countertops were in really bad shape we didn't like the style we thought they look terrible the bathtub also was so mine skills and gross that we didn't want to sit in it or even take a shower in it so we called Miracle Method. Everyone there was super nice and it was a lot cheaper to have Miracle Method come out and reface are tub and redo all of our countertops with a bullnose than it was to upgrade to Granite or even laminate. This is the first review I've ever submitted. The company refinished my Corian sink, which was over 15 years old and had developed discoloration and small cracks around the drain. After only three months, I noticed several chips in the acrylic finish. When I contacted the company, I was advised that they would not warranty their product, but would fix the 'impact' chips for $300.00. Apparently, the warranty doesn't cover 'impact.' I'm not sure what kind of impact would cause several chips to the new finish, but clearly if you plan on placing dishes in your sink, don't use this company to do any refinishing. The sink had no chips prior to it being refinished, so whatever product is being used by Miracle Method DOES not hold up. read more
