I've been to numerous salons over the years and have found that GLOW BAKERY NAILS (GBN) is by far the best. Not only have they proven to be very caring and gentle with my feet but their salon is very accommodating, clean and their technician's equipment are always sanitary. The salon even has complimentary beverages. There are salons blocks from my home but I would rather travel the 10 miles to have, Fann at GBN take care of my feet. The technician cut my finger as she was cutting down my nails. She apologized, but she tried to continue services without even cleaning the wound or applying any antiseptics. I had to ask her to clean my wound. She then talked to someone and they looked at my nail, but did not acknowledge me or say anything about it. After that I was quite upset and decided that instead of completing my manicure I just wanted my old set taken off. The technician did not even clean my nails. There is still glue left on them. I had a pedicure at the same time and that was fine, nothing to write home about. At time of payment when they asked how everything was I told them about my experience, the employee said he didn't know and that he wished someone had said something to him. In an effort to offer me something for my experience they tried to give me a card for $20 off a future visit, but I said that I didn't plan on returning. I will not be coming back to this place

Despite the continued price increases over the years, we remained loyal customers because we valued the experience. Yesterday, however, the business decisions and customer service were extremely disappointing. My husband and I came in requesting two pedicures. We waited less than five minutes before being seated. While they started my pedicure, my husband's feet were left soaking as he waited for service to begin. Shortly after I was taken in, additional customers arrived and were immediately attended to before my husband, despite the fact that we had already been seated and waiting. It became very clear that other customers were being prioritized over him. We consistently purchase deluxe pedicures, not regular services, which made the situation even more frustrating. After two other customers were taken ahead of him, and nearly 30 minutes had passed since my service began, we decided my husband would no longer continue waiting. As we were leaving, we were told that the other customers had appointments. That explanation made little sense considering no one communicated that to us beforehand, nor did anyone think it inappropriate to leave someone soaking in water for almost half an hour without service. This situation was poorly handled and extremely disappointing, especially as longtime loyal customers.
