This is always one of my favorite holiday pop up bars that I keep going back to every season. The decorations are so fun, the drinks are delicious and reasonably priced, and a portion of proceeds go towards local charities. Miracle is a great go-to, super popular Christmas bar! Most ppl, including myself, go every year because it always delivers on decorations, drinks, and a great Holiday vibe. The fact that Sippin Santa is right next door is a win as well. There are QR codes for menus all over the place and prices range from $7 for beers to a cocktail which is around $13. Known for their cool glasses as well, it's def a place to get you into the holiday spirit! Tons of tables for small and large groups but always be aware that it will be busy! This was a great place to gather to kick start the holiday season. I got the Christmas Mouse cocktail (I can't recall the full name) and Snowball old-fashioned. The mouse cocktail was well made and delightfully tasty. The old-fashioned was good but it needed more bitters or sweetness to take some of the strength of the taste, but if you like your bourbon strong, this is for you! The staff was uber nice and jolly (joking with an our group and stopping to talk). She had a snowball old fashioned and I had a Yippee Kai (you know the rest, shame if you don't). 28.00 for two drinks using well or lower liquor. The old fashioned was poured out of pitchers pre-made. My yippee had a really strong taste (not good). Decided to opt for a beer (IC Light)...$7.00 a can (12 ounce). Decor is eclectic and honestly they are obviously targeting the holiday goers on this substandard atmosphere with poor quality of drink. Tell me there's a Christmas pop-up bar and I am sold on what I'm doing for the night! Christmas truly exploded inside of Miracle on 6th - decorations literally go from floor to ceiling. While they usually have a long line to get in, it does move a lot faster than it looks like it would. Inside, it's quite crowded & the floor feels like a basement frat house (it's that sticky), but if you can get past that it's a fun atmosphere! Be mentally prepared that someone will likely spill a drink on you at some point, though, because they really do pack you in. Despite the big crowd, though, bar service was pretty quick. Although they're in a slightly larger location with more tables this year (across from Sally Ann's on 6th near the corner of Penn) it's popular and can definitely be a tight squeeze. This was the second stop of the night for my friends birthday and it was absolutely packed in there. It was kind of hard to find a table but we managed. This is definitely the type of place where you have one person order all of the drinks for the table or you will have to wait awhile for everyone to finally get something. We may be Jewish but we LOVE a Christmas Pop Up- and Miracle consistently serves. I just love how hard they go with the decorations. Every single nook and cranny has something to see. Also they always go hard with their lil Jewish section which is so appreciated. If you grew up Jewish, you know- the "Jewish" section in stores is usually just one shelf hidden away somewhere random in the store with maybe 3 items. Somehow, Miracle has found every piece of Hanukkah decor and displays it with pride. We love love love it. Additionally, the music!? Every song is a hit. Nothing gets the party started like music that spans generations and gets everyone singing. Miracle bar does that! We even were singing and dancing with the family next to us. Now onto the drinks. Listen, their drink selection is so fun- not only in taste but in presentation. The mugs are so dang cute. The Christmas unicorn I was drinking out of stole my heart. It was so stinkin cute. This bar is ostentatious in the best way! Loved the abundance of Christmas decor, the Christmas music, and the "uniforms" of everyone who worked there. We had a blast! I got an Old Fashioned Snowball. I loved that it came with a real snowball in it but honestly it was straight bourbon with an orange peel. I didn't taste any mixer. My boyfriend got the Santarex and the cup was SO CUTE! The drink however was the sweetest thing id ever tasted. It was like melting 10 candy canes and drinking it, it kind of made my stomach hurt. If you're looking to check out all the cool holiday bars in Pittsburgh, you have to make a stop at Miracle on 6th! My friend and I stopped by around 9 pm and there was a decent line out the door. We waited about 5-10 minutes to get in which wasn't bad at all. It was definitely packed inside but we managed to find a table to stand at with our drinks after a little bit. The inside of the bar is super festive and all the classic Christmas songs were playing on repeat! The drinks were good and came in fun glassware as well! I love Miracle. It is definitely the best pop up bar with the best cocktails. We were there right before 4 on Black Friday. They didn't open until 4:15 and there was a line. We got a table and we're able and o take in the ambiance. The one issue we had was the servers kept bypassing us so I had to go to the bar to order it ie first round. my friend got the Old Fashioned and I got the Elfing Around which I enjoyed. Covid friendly, Christmas themed fun?! Sign me up! My husband and I had a wonderful date night renting an igloo on Thursday. Literally, your own igloo decorated for Christmas equipped with heaters and Bluetooth speaker. Everything is sanitized in between guests and you only have contact with you server who is of course, wearing a mask! The menu was all Christmas themed and everything we had was amazing. Miracle on Liberty is open again, and this year they added a second location, Miracle on Liberty (at the former Lava Lounge). There are cities all over the world that partipate in this popup charity event. A portion of the money raised through drink sales will benefit the global organization Action Against Hunger and the local nonprofit 412 Food Rescue. From the second you walk in the door, you are greeted by the sights, sounds, and smells of Christmas. I've wanted to go to Miracle the last few holiday seasons and haven't made it there - until finally last night! When we walked in, you're immediately overwhelmed by the Christmas joy. We walked up to the bar and were served shockingly quickly for how packed it was (and it was only 6pm). I love that their drink menu has such great names and the drinks all come in adorable, festive drink ware (which is available for purchase if you're interested!) The place was packed so we had to stand near the door and the speaker which was loud and cold, but eventually a table cleared and we decided to stay for a second round. I would recommend coming early on weekends, especially if you want to get in the door. This place is small and cozy, so there's not much space. We came on a Thursday night around 6, and it was perfect. We even snagged a few seats. The drinks are really fun and festive. They are served in an array of Christmas themed glasses; our favorite was the Santa mug. You can even buy the glasses now. In our group of 4, the drink favorite was the Run Run Rudolph. YAY! CHRISTMAS EXPLOSION! This place rules! The decor looks like the Hallmark Channel threw up, which is truly wonderful. The drinks all have fun Christmas-y names as well as Christmas-y flavors and they come in fun glassware (check out the dinosaur cup holding my SanTaRex). But the best part of my first experience to Miracle was that the drinks were not just gimmicks, they're actually delicious, crafted cocktails. My drink had whiskey, hard cider, apple bitters, and a variety of other ingredients. To be fair, I hate whiskey. I only ordered this drink for the cup...but then I tasted it and it was incredibly delicious! The whiskey wasn't too strong but still able to be tasted, and the sweetness of the cider balanced it out. I was pleasantly surprised and would order it again! Obviously this is a pop up bar and investing in better furniture is not really a reasonable option, but otherwise Miracle was truly a miracle in my opinion. Great drinks. Fast service. The weekend before Christmas we made plans to visit all the pop-up Christmas bars in the city. We decided to start with Miracle on Liberty. Being such a small store front they would only allow a certain amount of people in the door at a time. So as someone leaves someone is allowed in. When we arrived there was no one in line, but we had to wait until someone left before being allowed in. Once inside the place was still so packed, and it took a while to maneuver your way to the bar to order. Their menu is very cute. All drinks fashioned around holiday themes. I got the Snowball Old Fashioned, while my husband ordered the Jingle Balls Nog. So unlike a couple other bars we visited that night they actually make the cocktails to order, and put on a fabulous show while doing it! The cocktail prices were well pricey at $12.00 for what I considered a smaller than normal cocktail, but they were also very good. I absolutely loved the over-the-top decorations along with the performances and outfits of the staff. Even the restroom donned an appropriate holiday sign reminiscent of National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. This was a very cool Pop up bar. Probably our favorite one this year. The problem with being very good is that they were very busy. We had to wait outside for about 10 minutes before we could go in because it was full to the max here. We did come here on a Saturday before Christmas so we knew it would be busy. Once we got in it was decorated everywhere and it was a great atmosphere. It was really cool and you didn't mind the wait once our got in. It was busy so it was hard to hear anybody or order a drink but we managed. I got their Eggnog drink and it was delicious. The bartenders were fun and it was a very cool pop up bar. Since it was busy and expensive for a small drink we only stayed for one but we had a lot of fun for the time that we were here. The best holiday themed bar in Pittsburgh! The staff is energetic and fun and the bar is overflowing with hilariously kitschy decorations. Be warned if you visit this bar, it will most likely be packed. My husband and I went here on a Friday night around seven and it was only shoulder to shoulder standing room around the bar. Last year when we went around 10 on a Saturday we waited in line for about 30 minutes. The quality and looks of the drinks compared to other downtown Holiday bars makes it worth it! I can say the "Yipee Ki Yay" that I got did not taste good at all. Honestly one of the worst drinks we ever tasted lol. My friend got the "Run Run Rudolph" and we loved it!
