One important thing to note about seating is that some of the tables are high-top bar tables. I happen to have a disability, so had they assigned our reservation with one of those tables it would have been a problem because it's hard for me to get up and down in those seats. The service was A-1! From the hostesses to the wait staff and management. They were extremely attentive throughout our meal. Instead of just putting the appetizers on the table, our waiter plated them for us. This is probably the only misstep during our meal. He assumed that all of us wanted a piece of each app instead of asking each of us which app we wanted. We ordered stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta. A couple people didn't like mushrooms. Also, we had more people joining us so by plating all the apps upfront there wasn't enough for the rest of our party. Even still he was a great waiter. The food was phenomenal! I got the steak and eggs from the brunch menu. The cut of steak was like a hanger steak. When I say cooked and seasoned to perfection!?! It was one of the best restaurant steaks I've had. Our entire table enjoyed the food we ordered, including the cocktails. The food is pricey, but for an elevated experience or special occasion it is absolutely worth the visit!

Our first, and last, trip to Coppolillos. We had a…read morereservation and were seated promptly. The dining room, adjoining the bar, lacked the intimacy that I expected in an Italian Steakhouse. High ceilings, big light fixtures; certainly nice, but not par for my course. Plus, even though only 8 other tables were occupied, the place was LOUD. We ordered beverages and our server checked with us a couple of times while we were deciding on our dinner choices. Noticed that a few tables were given bread; maybe we needed to order it, but we weren't offered any. After ordering we waited upwards of 25 minutes for our entrees; 2 filets, filet medallions, and spaghetti. We tried to get drink refills in the interim but our server, Abby, was MIA. The food was a mixed bag. 3 of the 4 orders were correct, no asparagus, and when bought to the attention of the server, it arrived 10 minutes later. The spaghetti was fine and a more than ample portion, one filet was perfect, the second filet was seriously undercooked, ordered medium, borderline bloody, the filet medallions, also ordered medium, were way overcooked, chewy, and difficult to even cut. After 15 minutes or so we were able to flag down the hostess/manager (?) and she replaced them. The 3 medallions we received were all cooked to different degrees, a medium rare, a medium, and a well done. Strange but true. This place really needs help in the kitchen. Very disappointing evening. We won't be back. You get one chance to make a good first impression.

Salad was enough for 4 - 6 people. Me and my partner had plenty of leftovers. So many ingredients almost too many to list. The ingredients that stood out were the Asparagus, mushrooms, and broccolini. Ingredients were hot and delicious. We split the Carmelized Onion Tortellini. It was magical. Great buttery taste and the Carmelized Onions oozed out of the tortellini when I cut into it with the fork. We were stuffed when we left and had enough leftovers to eat for dinner the next day. We came at lunch time & got right in. Ordered the focaccia bread. It came with olive oil & marina sauce. So amazing. Also shared the kale Ceasar salad. It was huge! Enough for 4-6. It had a lot of ingredients. Roasted asparagus, broccolini, shaved Brussels sprouts, mushrooms. It was delicious, but I would have preferred a lighter summer salad. It was hearty & warm. I'd get it again in the fall. We shared the caramelized onion tortellini. It was huge too. Amazing prices for the amount of food. It was so delicious. The onions were sweet & the pasta was perfect & fresh. Lots of leftovers to take home. Cute ambiance, friendly service. Loved that we could watch the chefs prepare the food too. Can't wait to come back for more pasta & try dessert.

We could not have imagined such a delightful dinner, in a rustic Tuscan Mediterranean setting, with such extraordinary imaginative and thoughtfully prepared dishes. From the "Start the Table" appetizers we ordered the Bruschetta Board - Crostini Bread with Three Flavors - Margherita, Ricatta Honey and Pesto - three different preparations of bread and toppings - all were delicious, and the Fried Ravioli with Marinera, Alfredo and Pesto Sausage - both were artfully presented and delicious, albeit the portions were small. For Main Course entrees we ordered the Baked Pasta - from the menu - choice of two types of pasta, penne or spaghetti, and choice of five preparations Marinara, Vodka, Alfreda, Bolognese or Pesto, and choice of addition of one of four meats, steak, meatballs, Shrimp or chicken. And the Penne, Pesto and Steak, while Stan and I both ordered the Spaghetti, Bolognese and Meatballs. Both selections were extraordinary, artfully presented, delicious and ample proportions. For a finishing dessert course we had the home-made Tiramisu, which was delectatble. Service by Liz was outstanding. Not impressed and definitely not worth the price point. The menu is set up where you have to order…read moreeverything individually which makes your meal get expensive very quickly. Typically, an Italian restaurant comes with some kind of complementary bread service and a choice of soup or salad with your entree. There is no bread service unless you order and pay for it. If you want soup or salad, you have to order it separately from your meal. If you order an entree such as fish or chicken, it does not come with sides, you have to order those separately. If the food was really good, I'd have no problem doing this and having a larger than normal check, but the food isn't very good. I've been to other restaurants that do this (i.e. Boilerhouse) and have no problem with this as the quality of their meals, ambiance, and service make it worth the price. Not so for Paretta's. We started with an appetizer, calamari. It was good. Not the best, but no major complaints with that. We each ordered a half salad. It was a nice size, but the croutons were chewy. I've read other reviews that state the same thing so apparently it's an issue they're choosing not to correct. We each ordered a pasta dish. When the server brought them out, she asked if we would like additional parmesan on top. We both said yes. She returned with individual small ramekins with shredded parm. What kind of italian restaurant doesn't invest in a grater and freshly grate the parm at your table!? They must not use fresh parm and just have bagged parm. My Mom ordered the sausage pesto pasta. It arrived and it wasn't even the slightest bit green to indicate it was a pesto dish. Upon tasting it, it did have a hint of pesto flavor. Just looking at it, it was VERY oily and tasted oily. I feel like they watered down the pesto with cheap olive oil to make it stretch. Mom only had a few bites. I ordered the alfredo. It arrived and was made with penne. Huh? Alfredo is traditionally served with fettuccine noodles. Their menu does not indicate what kind of pasta is served with their pasta dishes so I wasn't expecting something other than fettuccine noodles. As for flavor, the alfredo was very salty. Not a lot of ambiance. The radio from the kitchen was blaring so we listened to classic rock while dining in an Italian restaurant. I wouldn't go back. Food is mediocre at best with a terrible price point for what you're getting.

One thing to note; there's only one unisex bathroom on the first floor, which wasn't quite enough for the number of guests that day. The wait staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to answer our questions since it was our first time dining here. The owner also made a point to visit every table, which added a warm, personal touch. The food truly stood out; comforting Italian dishes that reminded us of meals we enjoyed in Italy. Portions were just right, with a great balance of pasta and ingredients. The stuffed eggplant was a highlight; perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The Pizza Bianco was another favorite, generously topped with artichoke hearts. A few minor notes: the calamari was slightly overcooked, and while the Shrimp Scampi with Capellini Aglio Olio was flavorful and well-seasoned, the pasta was a bit on the dry side for my preference. Some of the shrimp were slightly overcooked as well, but it didn't take away from the overall taste as it was still very enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. We'd definitely recommend this spot and look forward to coming back the next time we're in the area.

The owner has a farm and uses a lot of the produce she grows herself for the freshest ingredients. The variety on the menu is fabulous as well. They always have exceptional daily specials. It's always so hard to decide what to order! The negative is that it is only open for dinners on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. They used to be open more than than as well as for lunch (they had a fantastic lunch menu!) so that's a disappointment. The place is also clean, but I would like to see them replace their tables and chairs. The chairs are old and you sink down so low. The tables don't have a smooth surface and crumb debris gets caught. This is the only authentic, quality Italian place in town so I hope it sticks around for a long time! With her decreasing the hours from what she had before, I worry she'll eventually close. It would be a huge loss to the community if it did.
