So I've been here before for a pedi and came in today for SNS and on a Yelp they have an offer for a free drink if you check in and no one seemed to know what I was talking about and then they offered me a mini bottle of water. So need to check in for the offer because it's a bogus offer. My nails came out good though.

First I'm going to start with the good. They were so clean and very friendly I appreciate how attentive they were when I first walked in. They follow covid protocols. Now, I'm going to explain the real reason why I am posting. My experience was terrible. I got a gel mani and regular pedi. My pedi was okay, not satisfied but didn't complain. Whatever.. my mani was horrible. First they made me bleed on every single finger with the nipper. I get that it happens once in a while, I get it. But every single finger bled. You can see each coat on the sides. It wasn't even. or clean at all. They had someone else come and try to fix but that ended up worse and took forever. It's a gel mani !! How painful and long is that supposed to be ?! I'm upset because I've never had an experience this bad. I paid the full amount by the way. My message to whoever is thinking of coming here : Just be careful

Covid safety was great, and these was truthfully about it. I paid $42 for a simple gel manicure, and the end result was unfortunately pretty bad. Cuticles were barely trimmed, and paint was pretty sloppy- especially for $42!!

I would highly recommend you not get your nails or a wax done here. The salon is located at the back of the 7-Eleven adjacent to the McDonalds. Parking is easy to come by. Their location is probably the only good thing about this establishment. The individuals working there are rude and have limited customer service skills. I received an upper lip wax that took off skin from the corner of both sides of my smile line. I've been getting my upper lip waxed for years from salons good and bad and this is the first time a salon has removed skin. NEVER again! It left a scar for about 3 months on my face. Absolutely ridiculous. Not only was their wax terrible, they also do not take their time with your nails and rush through each service-- even with no one in the shop and two individuals eating lunch. Take your service up the street to Queen Nails across from Taco Bell.

I came in here with a girlfriend to get our nails done after lunch. It wasn't busy so they were able to take both of us in. I had a fill with gel that I wanted them to take off so it took awhile. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry. I feel that the lady who did my nails took off too much of my nails that it started chipping. She insisted it was because my nails weren't healthy though. She was nice enough to glue it but it also started to hurt. The color came out nice but the service was just ok. Not sure if I would be back.

I came out here on two friends recommendations. I made a couple appointments, one for me, one for a gf that was getting married (civil). We had gel nails and a regular pedicure done. They were pretty helpful in picking out colors and treated the bride to be especially well. I have had my nails done here twice now and they were perfection the second time around (and good the first time). I had my gel mani on for 3 weeks (both mani's). No peeling, infection, nothing! Just going back to the only unfiltered review here, I don't remember paying $60 for my gel mani =/ maybe there was a fee for removing gel/acrylic ($10) and for the french ($5-10)? I will definitely be back to these folks if I have a last minute needed gel mani. I would come here every two weeks but I do my own gel mani's at home now and saving tons of $$$. **Easier if you park in the back and they're next to David's Bridal.

Wonderful gel manicure, it's looked like this for two weeks now!

In my opinion, this is the best place in the Rockville area to go for nail services! I am not overly fond of chitchat while I get my nails done, I just like it to be relaxing. The staff here certainly aren't rude, and will engage in conversation if you want, but they are not super chatty if you're not in the mood for conversation. I've come in twice, and got a gel mani both times, and a pedicure once. Their prices are a little high, $37 for the gel mani, but I like their service and how long the gel lasted. Both times I made an appointment, which seems pretty necessary just so they have enough staff for you, they always have customers, but it's not crazy. The tools are clean, they came out of a sterile bag and my tech poured a new container of sanitizer that she put the tools in during my visit. The files themselves were a little older looking, but not dirty. The pedicure chairs are very nice as well. My only complaint is that the towels they use for the manicure tables and the pedicure are ratty looking, clean but the edges are very frayed. The towels for drying your hands are nice and new, so don't let that be the reason you don't come. If I were staying in the area per mentally, this would be the only place I would ever go!

Do not get waxed here. If they don't use different sticks to wax you and definitely do not change their wax - getting your nails done here is probably just as unsanitary. I had the worst experience and will not be returning. I wish I had realized sooner that this was the way the woman who was waxing did it. I would've gotten up and left. I did not realize until it was too late. ONE STICK. I'm shocked.

Manicure and massage/buffing
Gahee L.

Came here for the first time yesterday to get a classic manicure for myself and buffing/hand massage for my boyfriend. The prices are reasonable and the service is standard. The lady never pushed me to get gel or anything like that either. We did have to wait around 15 minutes to be tended to but the staff were all very courteous and kept telling us we were not forgotten. I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 as I left with polish on odd parts of my finger that was never cleaned off. And my boyfriend's massage and buffing lasted a very short time given the price. But overall a good experience!

See my nails are growing out and polish still looks great!

Great attention to detail! I also really like that you actually have the option to wax or sugar. I'm not picky, so my technician actually did both and I though the service was professional, quick, but thorough. I'm not a frequent hair removal gal but I\d come back! Street parking was hard to find so I ended up in a garage across the street which had a strange phone in/out system that I didn't love, but I didn't have to pay so I can't complain that much about that one little parking quirk.

There are Fiji water bottles in the lobby but no sign by them. I wasn't sure if they were included in the cost of the appointment or cost extra so I didn't take one. Maybe if I was bolder, I wouldve inquired. They sell a number of sugar scrubs and other products that you can use after your sugaring/waxing appointment at home. At 2:30pm, a technician came out with another customer who'd just finished and greeted me after closing out her appointment. I was definitely nervous but my technician put me at ease with light conversation and music (they let you choose what music you want when you schedule your appointment). I had initially made my appointment for sugaring but I was told that my hairs were too short and that wax would work better. I was a bit disappointed because I'd read about sugaring, but happy that my technician was able to provide good advice. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected it to. I was in and out in about 45 minutes with silky smooth legs.

DO NOT come here if you care about the health of your brows. I paid $135 for a brow threading,…read moretint, and lamination package on Wednesday, May 20 at 11:15 AM. It is now May 27 -- one week later and my brows are sparse, damaged, and actively falling out. I am including before and after photos. In the before photos you can see my natural brows. Thick, full, and well-defined from the head all the way through the tail. In the after photos you can see the tail of both brows is now sparse and fragmented, with hairs visibly scattered and damaged. This is not fading. This is structural damage. Here is what happened: When I arrived I was immediately handed a consent form and pressured to sign it on the spot with no advance notice. When I took out my phone to photograph the form (so I could reference the aftercare instructions I was agreeing to follow) I was told I was not allowed to take pictures. I have never had a service provider refuse to let me document a form I'm being asked to sign. Before the lamination, she threaded my brows so aggressively that I was visibly shocked. I have had brow laminations many times. Every other technician I've been to takes off as little hair as possible before a lamination because the entire point is to create a full, fluffy result. When I asked her directly what look we were going for, she dismissed my concern and said they would be fluffy once she was finished. They were not. During the chemical processing (a timed procedure where monitoring is critical) she left me to perform threading on two walk-in customers. This is almost certainly why my brows were over-processed. This has never happened to me before at other establishments. When I asked for aftercare instructions before leaving, she pointed me at a poster on the wall for Elleebana Lash Lift maintenance. That is a lash lift aftercare card, a completely different service. I was never given written brow lamination aftercare, just a quick verbal "no fluids or oils for 48 hours". I followed the 48 hour rule to a tee. I take the process very seriously because, of course, I don't want to waste my money. Results: my brow tint was completely gone by day 4. Brow tint should last 4-6 weeks. One week out, my brows are dry, brittle, and falling out every time I brush them. Hair loss is not a listed risk in their consent form. This is not a normal outcome. This is what happens when a chemical treatment is over-processed and left unmonitored. I have the consent form documented (I took a picture before she tried to tell me I couldn't, Thank GOD I did!!). I am pursuing a full refund and will be filing a complaint with the Maryland State Board of Cosmetologists. Do not risk your brows here.

Gina, the owner, thinned and reshaped them despite my instructions. When I raised concerns, Gina deflected, insisted I was happy, refused a refund, and told me she didn't care if I left her a negative review. So, here's my review. If you care about your brows, I would avoid this place at all costs. You've been warned and I hope this review helps others avoid the same disappointment.

I was Annie's last appointment for the day and I arrived 10 minutes late. Despite all that, she took her time on my facial. She started off by looking at my skin and noted that I wasn't acne-prone but I have oily skin. She didn't say anything as she worked which I love whenever I get treatments so I can just enjoy the experience and relax. (I can't stand chatty therapists, especially masseuses.) Here are all the other points as to why I absolutely loved my facial with Annie: 1) Painless extractions 2) The steam is gentle and not overwhelming 3) She uses a vacuum that sucks up all the dirt and grime from clogged pores (my problem area was my t-zone) 4) She moisturizes your hands 5) She throws in really nice massages for the hands, arms, shoulders, neck, and head 6) I could see a HUGE difference with my skin afterwards 7) She didn't try to push any expensive products and regimens on me 8) It's been over 24 hours and I haven't had any breakouts as a result of the facial (normal but not preferred)
