Terrible experience. The owner was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful throughout my entire visit. I came into the spa, showed them exactly what I wanted, and was given a price upfront. While I was getting my toes done, the owner came over again asking what shape and style I wanted, so I showed her the picture a second time. She then suddenly told me it would be an extra $65 because of the "shape" and "length." I explained that I specifically asked for short nails, and the nail tech had already cut them down short. Not even 20 minutes later, after moving to the next station, the owner came back again, hovered over me while inspecting my nails, and started yelling that they were "too long" and that the price would now be $165. I was honestly shocked and confused because we had already discussed everything multiple times. It felt like she was intentionally creating problems and trying to pressure me into paying more money. What upset me most was the way she spoke to me. She was yelling at me in front of everyone as if I were a child, even though I had been respectful the entire time. At that point, I told the nail tech to stop because I no longer felt comfortable or respected there. No customer deserves to be treated that way. To make matters worse, I still ended up losing money even though my nails were never completed or painted. Only my toes were done. I will absolutely never return. Another major concern was sanitation. I noticed that they were not properly sanitizing or using new tools between customers. Instead, I saw tools simply being rinsed with soap and water before being reused. Unfortunately, I did not realize this until it was already too late. That is completely unacceptable for a nail salon and honestly made me even more uncomfortable about the entire experience. I also couldn't ignore the difference in how customers of color were treated. I am mixed Black and Hispanic, and I immediately noticed the shift in attitude when I walked in. I also witnessed another African American woman being treated poorly. That alone should have been my sign to leave. It was uncomfortable and disappointing. If you are a person of color, especially Black women, I genuinely recommend spending your money elsewhere. My toes look great- very happy with the appearance. They took me for a last minute appointment, which is awesome since I'm not a regular one for a pedicure. However, first off- ya know when the saline has racks and rows of polish on the wall? And how sometimes when your polish is very old it starts to separate? Yeah. Lots of that along the walls. I chose a very neutral color that seemed to be fairly new. The tech definitely seemed to be tired and distracted. She did not spend much time exfoliating my feet- there are still some dry spots for sure, and she seemed distracted. She used her packets of exfoliant and lotion and seemed be rather sparing with them-like 1/8 of a packet. Let's say that my legs have some surface area, so it didn't really seem like enough. Also- anyone else have flashbacks to Legally Blonde when your nail tech starts shouting Vietnamese when you sit in the chair? Just me?! Day 2 and my toes look good- no smudges. We were staying at the hotel across the street and my wife wanted a simple nail fill, so we stopped in. They took us right away--no wait, which seemed promising. But after an hour of the technician working on her nails, I started to worry. The job dragged on for 90 minutes total. When finished, the nails were filed crooked, uneven, and the fills looked incomplete--gaps and lumps everywhere. It was clear the work was rushed and sloppy. Despite the poor result, we were charged full price. Now I have to pay another salon to fix it properly. If you value your time, money, or a decent manicure--avoid this place. read more

First time I went there is was a great experience with Ms. Nguyen. Second time I walked in and got a male tech. He tried to take off my gel just using the drill. He drilled hard and deep, so much so he caused damage to my nails where they were marked, tender, and soft. I told him it hurt.. he proceeded.. I told him it hurt a second time and he proceeded. I told him that was not how he was suppose to remove the gel and then he went to the foil and acetone... he proceeded to file my nails and they were all uneven. I then got a look at my nails and my whole right hand was white cracks in the middle of the finger nail. I then started crying over him injuring my thumb nail and told him to stop the service. He called over the manager who said I was fine and it was because "I had gel so many times I had damage nails". This was only the second time I had done gel in the last year. THE SALON damaged my nails I worked so hard for. I asked for a discount for the removal due to the injury he caused to my thumb and she just told me to go, I am never going back again. Hi everyone! So i like to shop around and check out different nails salons and i found this gorgeous hole in the wall called Olio. They have a great team and they do a VERY thorough job. they're friendly and conversational. They make sure you like your nails so even though is expensive and i mean you needa have them dollas on you, is worth it because they will last and won't break or chip. the massage and spa treatment was super relaxing. They have a really steep price for eyebrows, so no way did i wanna do brows, but they said they can make it really nice. So for any of you girlies with the fuzzy caterpillar unibrow situations i gotchu! go here! Also the vibe is amazing. Is a small setup but they got it looking super instagram/pinteresty. The nail polish case in the center of the room looks friggin GORGEOUS and and they have a bamboo trees vanity beside it, with more nail polish. The ceiling is sooo pretty is blue with clouds. I've had mixed experiences here. The first time I came, a lady rushed and did my nails and a sloppy design because she was overbooked . I appreciate that she squeezed me in but I wouldn't have gotten the design if I know it was going to turn out how it did. The gel started chipping a few days later. The second time, I walked in for a pedicure and it was AMAZING! They did a great job and I added a 10min massage for $15 and it was nice. They weren't busy so I had good service. The third time I made an appointment with ALAN , specifically because I saw him giving a GREAT massage during the pedicure. I walked in a few mins late and he disregarded me like I wasn't his appointment lol then I waited for 15min and a different lady did my pedicure. She did a good job painting my toes but wouldn't listen when I was instructing her how to massage my feet (because I was paying an extra $20 for longer time). I've been going here for over a year and a half. Everyone is very nice. Patty runs a very consistent nail salon. I've only ever had Allen complete my service and he is great. To be honest the service takes the same amount of time every time, which I appreciate. The quality is always consistent as well. He is a very consistent and careful technician as well. There are never any accidental burns or bleeding. He never goes through the motions. Lots of places skimp on the pedicure process but not Allen. Patty does great designs and the manicures look very high quality. I'when the shop opened back up due to covid everyone had the certificates regarding sanitation. The seats are sanitized in between clients. There are plexiglass stands and barriers and the protocols were followed. The parking is typically abundant and the prices are really economical considering the quality and consistency of the service. read more

On my way home from work I stopped at the Chic fil a to get a bite to eat. I didn't know this nail salon was even in the same shopping center. When I walked in Pheng greeted me and told me about their Nail services and prices. I scheduled an appointment and was excited about meeting Alan. Well, well, well, I met Alan and he was beyond outstanding and very skilled in his artistry. I received both a pedicure and manicure from him. Must I notate how I fell asleep from the foot massage, and no I was not tired. I could tell he really takes his work ethic serious and he was so professional during my visit. Terrible service went I for dip manicure and pedicure . The dip is super unnatural and pink in color super bulky . The nail lady kept insisting it looked fine after I told her I didn't like kept trying to convince it was fine then tried to force me to give a cash tip they are lucky I even paid took 2 hours for here to do my nails and it cost almost $150 I will never return and have to find another shop to fix the messed up French manicure I received. And the manager was fighting with another client because they didn't follow instructions on her set either. Toxic environment trash service save your money don't go! Terrible French Manicure. After 3 days one nail came off and one nail had mold starting under it. I went back in to have repaired and I was told my nails are old and I needed a new set. Okay isn't the nail technicians job to recommend a new set? I would have gladly paid. Each nail had big chips of white missing (3 day old manicure). They told me I had my hands in water too much. Then when I said I had asked for two coats of base and they originally did not give me two coats they said I should have asked. Huh? I did. They literally blamed me for a bad manicure 3 days old. You think I want to walk around with a bandaid on my finger until Monday (closed on Sunday) because my nail is missing? Horrible customer service they took no responsibility for a bad job. Walked in yesterday with a friend for pedicures. This was our first time here. While the place was clean, and the staff was nice the pedicures were quite pricey for the money spent (as compared to our usual place nearby). I get that the place is new and the rent is likely high, but having just opened you think they'd be more reasonable or offer deals. And then to top it off, they charged my friend and extra $6 for callus removal. And it wasn't anything special that the technician did. I've been here several times. The owner is not overly friendly. She'll tell new people to go "wash your hands" without even telling them where the sink is. She also shouts "go pick a color" without telling people where the colors are. The past two times I came she asked me where I live (and no other questions or comments). It felt odd like she was trying to judge my financial status. She is really quick to tell you to come back in 3 weeks when you leave! Olio's prices are significantly higher than other locations. I prefer the nail place next to Nordstrom Rack because the pedicures are in a more relaxing (and dark!) environment. Overall, I'm not overly impressed at Olio, but I'm not disappointed. I like how they play country music but that might not be everyone's taste. The service is just "meh." Patty put lotion on just one of hands and not the other. In pinch I would come here, but wouldn't go out of my way to return. read more

My friend raved about this place and invited me to join her. Hesitantly, I did. When I walked in the establishment, I thought the salon was very clean. Brenda helped my friend and Alan helped me. We both started with a pedicure. My pedicure was okay, no complaints with that. Then we moved to the nail station and my friend got a gel manicure. I either wanted a fill or to take my nails off and get a manicure. Alan said my nails were fine and I should get a fill in. I agreed, but the he started "ripping" my nails off with a nail tip. His method was terrible. It really hurt. I told him to soak my nails off if he was taking it off. But he proceeded to"rip" it off. It was so painful. Patty (I believe the manager) stepped in, but she was no help. She continued with Alan's method of ripping my nail off with a nail tip. This method not only was painful but it destroyed my nails. Would I recommend this place, NO, absolutely not. Not only did they not listen to my request but they ruined my nails. Would I return, No, absolutely not. read more

I am giving Olio a 2 only because the woman who did my pedicure doesn't deserve any of my ire. It was an ok pedicure. No massage, bare minimum skin sloughing. Beautiful salon. Great prices. Really has done a good job trying to protect clients and deliver a pampering experience in terms of social distancing and plexiglass shields. However, one tech flaunted her unmasked nose the entire time I was there. Every other staff member and client wore masks over nose and mouth, but not her. I quietly mentioned it to the manager when I left. The manager claimed they are all "Covid tested" every day so the staff is all safe. Really? Every day all working staff members are tested? That doesn't mean a mask can be worn under the nose. What entitles her to that privilege? And Fox5 was blaring on the TV. I won't be back. read more

I've been coming to this place for over two years now, and they've always been bad with timing when someone comes in claiming they have an appointment. I've always chosen to ignore this flaw because they do an awesome job on my nails each time, however I will never be coming back again. I had an 11:30 appointment, came in at 11:25, and sat there waiting for someone to tell me they can do my nails for me. I waited ten minutes which quickly became 20, when two ladies came into the salon and both of them were sat immediately. I ended up waiting over an hour, and no one had spoken to me once to tell me they were ready to have me. None of them even acknowledged me, and during the time I sat there waiting, multiple nail techs were available but hadn't told me they would be able to do my nails for me. I'm not the type of person to leave a bad review, especially since most businesses are struggling due to the pandemic. However, our experience here was highly disappointing. My daughter and I both made manicure appointments for one day in early December both for 5pm. I was getting gel and she requested dip. When we arrived, my daughter was immediately taken care of by Brenda, who was lovely and did very nice work. However, I was entirely ignored even though I had an appointment for the same time. No one approached me about doing my nails until an hour later at 6pm. When one of the nail techs finally started with me, she was in rush and trimmed my cuticles so hard that I started bleeding. I asked her to stop and she ignored me. She began painting my nails, which ended up looking so poorly that I had her just take it all off. I left without my nails done, but my daughter was very happy with hers so I decided not to make too a big deal out of it. However, when my daughter's $50+ dip manicure began to fall off her nails less than a week later, I was pissed. We were told over and over again at the salon that this type of manicure would last for several weeks. as the days when by, the nail polish continued to fall off and was completely gone in no more than 10 days. We decided to go back to the salon to request a partial refund and were treated quite poorly again by the manager and told that it was my daughter's fault the polish fell off and there was nothing they could do because we didn't come back as soon as it happened. Long story short, we will not be going back and would recommend you choose differently as well. We have to think the polish they used was simply cheap. Brenda was meticulous and careful, yet the manicure didn't last nearly as long as we were told it was. We are not difficult people, but this is just awful customer service. read more
