I have been looking for a hair stylist for awhile plus I'm the type of person that gets my hair cut once a year or longer. My ends were dead and the highlights were so grown out. Really sad and disappointed with how my hair turned out. I read the reviews and thought this place would be cool to check out but it wasn't what I expected. I booked my appointment almost 3 weeks ago and I was really looking forward to this appointment especially because I haven't dyed my hair or done anything special to it in a long time. I've done my research and looked for places in the Sj/Willow Glen/Campbell area and found something in Morgan Hill. It looked like this place was a good spot. I went to go see one of the hairstylists, showed her a picture of what I wanted and she said "that's totally doable" . And then comes the day and it's far from it. I knew it wasn't gna be as light as I wanted bc first -- she only saved me a 2 hr slot -- and second, she wasn't dying my whole head. I told her I wanted a caramel color and she said "oh yeah, definitely!" .. and turns out-- it's not caramel all over . I was getting ready for an event next week and I'm pretty sad I'm going unconfident with how my hair is looking. I wish I just left it the way it was originally. I understand it should've been in sessions if I wanted it that light but she told me the first time, it'd be fine. On the left is what I asked for, on the right is what I walked out with. Just got my hair done yesterday by Ciara and I'm in love!!! I've gotten my hair cut from her awhile back at the old salon she was at and followed her here. Ciara is super sweet and very friendly! I felt really comfortable getting my hair done by her. In terms of the salon itself, it is absolutely adorable! I loved the decor it was simple and modern looking. Very clean salon as well. As far as my hair goes... I told Ciara I was going for an ashy/silvery blonde look and she did just that! Made an appt with Raquel. She was so great! As a stay at home mom I don't make it into the salon often. When I made the appt, she was so understanding that I have a newborn and allowed me to bring her along! They have a great drink menu and she made me tea, so I just sat back and let her pamper me! She made sure from the beginning to ask questions to make sure she was doing exactly what I wanted and helped explain everything so that we were completely on the same page. In the past I've had stylist that are real quiet while they do my hair, or talk about themselves, but she was so easy to talk to and get to know on a friendship level. Jackie is wonderfully talented, meticulous and focused. I gave her minimal input on my long hair - other than I wanted a balayage and cut. I really left decisions like how light to go with my hair to her. Thats great when you have an established relationship with your stylist, but I was a total stranger letting her use her creativity - a situation which can be scary for client and stylist. Jackie handled it beautifully! Her choices were conservative, smart, & careful. It was a long appointment, but I attribute that to care and precision she gave to every part of the process. She did great! The color is incredibly natural looking, the cut perfect & most of all - my hair is absolutely healthy (like its never been processed).
