There is not much going on in Morgantown, but they do have a Mexican resturant. This restaurant has a private parking lot, a small patio, and a large dining area with televisions. The staff was friendly enough, and our server was attentive. This resturant serves your favorite traditional Mexican food, including tacos, burritos, steak, and chimichangas. They also have delicious margaritas and serve complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered a taco salad with beef. My food was prepared very quickly. It was sitting in front of me in less than 10 minutes, which was very impressive, especially considering I was with a very large group. My salad was ok. The ground beef, though, tasted like potted meat that you get in a can. It was edible, but not tasty. It lacked in the flavor department. All in all, this resturant was ok. I had better, and I have had worse. Would I eat there again? Maybe, but it would not be my first choice. read more

Stopped by for a late lunch on my way back from Martinsville. Only a handful of people inside. Very spacious parking lot, I'm sure it's very busy on the weekends. The inside of the restaurant was decorated beautifully. The tables and chairs were very artsy. They had Mexican music playing and I really enjoyed some of the songs that played. Serves was prompt and friendly. I ordered the lunch fajita special which had beef, chicken and shrimp along with the peppers and onions and it was cooked perfectly. Had a nice portion of rice and beans. It seems a lot of places use a lot of salt and flavor enhancers but not here, I wasn't thirsty the rest of the afternoon. Still borders on a five star, and worth visiting if you like very well-prepared Mexican standards. Ingredients are fresh, flavors are good, and it's well prepared and not from a microwave oven. There's a wide variety of non-Mexican food for those who just can't but the better part is for those who like well-prepared standards in sizeable portions. We don't do the alcohol there, but the bar seems busy (and has several sports screens). And it sounds strange to say this, but even their appetizer chips and salsa taste good and are fresh. It's an unexpected pleasure in Morgantown, and the locals and tourists going to/from Nashville seem to appreciate it and enjoy it. Even the restrooms are clean. We've gone back several times and enjoyed it. It's not expensive, and there are take-home boxes, though we were tempted to just gorge ourselves. There is some cheesy music, but it's not so bad. We came here for Mothers Day and they served every other person at the table BUT the mother. We had finished eating before her food came out. She had to put it right in a box. As we were roaming the restaurant asking for her food they kept offering her another margarita but even though she accepted, that never arrived either. I have driven past this place more times than I can count. Today I had the opportunity to stop in and check it out. First impression is the dining room is beautiful! I ordered camarones al mojo di aho, can I ask them to add some grilled jalapenos. Big grilled their jalapenos better than any Mexican restaurant I've ever been to! This is my first time going to this Mexican and I'm amazed. The food can out so fast and it was so good.

We are visiting from out of town and this place is like nothing we have at home. The food is AMAZING!!! The chipotle queso is definitely one thing you need to get. The salsa is so fresh, like a garden salsa. The blueberry marg was on special today and it was perfect to wash everything down with! The quesadilla hawaiana tops the cake!!!! If you are in town and craving some great Mexican food come here! Our expectations were high and they exceeded them! We will have to come back. Update: 1 year later we came back for our 1 year anniversary and man did we miss it! The Flan was the best I ever had, I used to work at a Mexican restaurant, and this one is phenomenal!!!! The new guacamole they have is a huge portion and oh so fresh and delicious! The chips and salsa were great last time just like the chipotle queso, which is the chips BFF! Attention Indy traffic to/from Brown County... our family has driven by this restaurant so many times. We decided to stop by on our way home from Apple Works this afternoon, and I'm so glad we did! The waiter was very helpful in identifying things we'd enjoy off the huge menu, and we landed on tacos carne asada (with a side of black beans), a burrito with creamy chipotle sauce, and kids menu hot dog and beef nachos. Between the four of us, we didn't leave anything left on the table. (I don't think that's ever happened before!!) My kids ate their food plus some of my huge side of black beans (topped with fresh pico). I really enjoyed my tacos carne asada, especially since they have fresh(?) corn tortillas and diced onions and cilantro as toppings. The real treat, though, was my husband's huge burrito. There were huge, perfectly cooked bell peppers and onions inside with a bit of rice and plenty of sliced (not shredded) chicken, all topped with a chipotle sauce that added complexity without being spicy. Speaking of spicy, I asked if they have any off menu salsas, and our waiter said they had tomatillo, verde, and habanero. I only tried the habanero- not super spicy, but a nice flavor. (Proven by the three baskets of chips we went through ) All in all, this restaurant has the basic "Mexican" food everyone knows, but also some more interesting options. I'm from around the area and you can regularly catch me in there for taco Tuesday! Always a good experience, servers are always friendly and help pick out food on the menu if you're unsure. They're always asking how everything is and if a drink is low they'll always want to know if you want a refill, just great service in general. Clean bathrooms, very clean dining area, always following Covid-19 precautions. Good energy in there as well, very upbeat, colorful decor with string lights and statues. Just saw that this place had opened recently so went down for dinner. We got there a little after 6 and was seated immediately. The chips and salsa were surprisingly good, with the salsa actually having a little kick to it, a rarity here in Indiana. They obviously put some effort into the menu as well. It has a lot more to offer than the standard burrito/enchilada fare that seems to be the norm around here. Some very interesting items and combos. They also had 22 oz margarita special for $5.99, served frozen with salt, a wedge of lime and orange. It was delicious. Our waiter was very timely and attentive as well. The food was very good with large portions. I was the only one of the four of us that was able to finish my plate. We'll definitely be going back to try it again.
