clean restaurant, counter service was quick and efficient. $34 for 2 people (the total after we added two soft drinks). i had the 4 cheese pizza, spinach pizza, and cajun pizza with seasoned seafood on it. all were delicious and the crust was fluffy and simply outstanding. it really outshined all of the other pizza joints i've tried in lafayette / broussard. i also had the chicken & sausage gumbo and chicken noodle soup. best gumbo i've ever had hands down. it was just salty and savory enough for my liking, with a nice smokeiness and a teeny tiny bit of spice. so so good. the macncheese is the spiral noodles and it's super tasty as well. so were the mashed potatoes! the manager stopped by and said to let him know if we need anything, and he prebussed tables throughout the night. i rarely see that when dining out and it's refreshing to experience such wonderful service. overall, a 20/10 experience. a nice variety of foods!! will definitely return. read more

Just a casual buffet with good food. They offer a decent variety of pizza on the buffet. The Mona Lisa is probably my favorite. It is a double crust pizza with salami and pepperoni with veggies sandwiched between 2 thin crust. They will make any pizza you want if they don't have it on the buffet. The bbq chicken, fried chicken smothered cabbage, macaroni and cheese are all great. They have dessert pizzas, ice cream and coffees. The servers clean up used plates and are very polite. This is a local favorite that's been here for many years. It's a great after-church spot for the family since it's inexpensive with seating for days. It's a pizza buffet primarily but the pizza can kick rocks (except for the buffalo pizza, that one is excellent). They have many non-pizza options that I usually gravitate towards, my favorite being the kickin chicken and white beans w/ rice. You'll also find gumbo, crawfish pasta, lasagna, fried chicken, and more. Their dessert pizzas are pretty good, I'm a big fan of the Rocky Road. There's some gaming options for kids too. Prior to today I recommended this place to multiple people. Including my mother whom hosts lunches and dinner with her class mates from 1961. I was good for 1 - 2 times a week to grab a quick lunch and catch up on some work while eating a great salad and other stuff. Like I said in my first statement prior to today. I understand the rising cost of everything. But to charge someone $2.75 for a styrofoam cup to put water in is a bit much. I will have to find another place to spend my hard earned cash. So today we decided to go eat at this place because it was my son's friend's birthday (12 years old). My son is also 12 years old. I go to the buffet with the two boys to serve ourselves. The boys are serving themselves and I was serving myself but all near each other at buffet. The manager, Scott, mouths off to the kids that they are supposed to be accompanied by adult when they are 12 and under. Instead of telling me, he addresses the kids which is not a way to handle the issue. I heard it but thought of letting it go as technically they were near me. When we go to sit with the family, I can see Scott near register talking about us. I go to address the issue as everyone is talking about us and laughing. When I get to the register I ask is there a problem. Scott, the manager, says yes that kids 12 and under are supposed to be accompanied by an adult in a very rude and disturbed way. I said I was not but 8 feet away from them and we were the only ones at the buffet. I was accompanying them. The kids were not making mess but doing what we taught them for years and that is to be a responsible adult and fix you own plate. The manager was extremely rude in tone towards me. They kept showing me signs "Under 12 should be accompanied by an adult." Look I know how to read but maybe you have a different definition of what accompanying minors is. If you meant to say kids 12 and under are not supposed to serve themselves then say that. The situation was handled in a very unprofessional way and could have been a totally different experience. Needless to say I asked for money back and we all left. We will not be back based on service from Scott. Sorry owners you lose on customer because of lack of training or care from Scott. Customer Service 101: 1. Ask kids where their parents are and address parents in professional and happy for your business way. 2. When there is an issue, don't have staff social hour about it, instead addresses issue in professional way. 3. Never show aggravated mood towards customers as they are choosing your place of business because they believe in your service. 4. Always remember when you lose a sell, those customers will be the ones to take the time for surveys and reviews. read more

When someone asks you if you want to leave a tip upfront that is a red flag. We just walked into the restaurant and there was nobody to greet us for about five minutes. Then when someone finally decided to do her job she straight up asked for a tip for the server. Wait a min! Who is the server? Why wasn't someone out front to greet the customers, etc? I don't tip until after services are provided, no offense to anyone out there and I'm glad I waited because nobody came to say they were a server or to check up on us. We also had to get our own drinks, utensils, etc. Since I was serving myself why should I pay someone who was rude and didn't provide a service? The only decent person there was this elderly man who walked to our table to tell my boyfriend how he lost his wife and was happy to see someone being there for someone else. However, he was a customer and not the server. Maybe the establishment should have hired him instead of the ppl they have working there behind the counter. After a good review from a coworker, I decided to take the family there to try it out. SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED! I've never wasted so much food. Gas station like pizzas. Some where under cooked. Some where disgusting. Baked fish was oily. Etoufe was salty. The only thing that was satisfying was the dessert pizzas. I have no idea how or why people still go. Must not have any taste buds. Food quality wasn't that bad considering the $8.99 price, but just because you have low price tag don't mean that you have to have a nasty place and don't give care for the customers. This place wasn't clean at all, I found dirty napkins underneath the tables and every where on the floor, service wasn't good neither by the time that we finished we had an stack of 10 plates on the table and nobody didn't even ask us if we want them to be removed. i recently for the 1st time purchased food at this location..my order was to go and i was given a pack of silverware that contained only a knife and napkin..i packed all kinds of stuff i wasn't awared they offered until this visit..spaghetti ,macaroni,lasagna, corn ect.with no utensils to eat these items with. i checked my receipt to call and let the manager know that i had to throw my food out but they don't list their phone # on the credit or regular receipt..i looked up the # in the phone book and called the manager to tell him of his workers negligence and that i was out $8.09 with nothing to show for it and he apologized for the incident and hung up...this places managment sucks..you would think he would do more ,especially for a 1st timer in there resturant..i have never seen such poor management....i have yet to taste their food and after this i never will...... signed, unhappy customer read more
