Food is still good but god the woman who answers the phones just leaves the worst taste in my mouth. Just such a bitchy "I'm better then you" attitude mixed with genuine misery of having to talk to customers and do her job. This place was supposedly open on Sunday. It took my order online and yet no one was in the store.

I drive by Mish Mosh everyday at the same time; drawn in by the name and font, oh and the subtitle! The name lingers in my mind because it's simple, yet enticing. Today, I didnt drive by, but decided to give it a try. I AM GOING BACK!!! As soon as we walked in (my 16yr old daughter and I), the wonderful varied, but not overbearing smells of freshly cooked food, were just as enticing as the name. We were greeted immediately by the beautiful ladies behind the counter, and then welcomed even more when I expressed that I had not been there since the former occupants. As we approached the counter, I saw a few familiar faces of whom greeted us. There were so many options from which to choose; from the deli style case with freshly prepared foods: pastas with and without seafood, chicken, and much more, to the pizza and the familiar menu selections. The time came to make a decision, with no pressure from the gentlemen behind the counter; I ordered the #32 Steak with Lettuce amd Tomato, and my daughter orderes the B+, which was perfect for her...it comes with a can of Arizona. Price point, you wonder; well in my opinion, it is reasonable, and well worth it. The authentic steak was juicy and flavorful, the bread left me speechless, and my daughter enjoyed her burger and fries. Awesome, tasty sandwich STUFFED with meat and cheese and the perfect sandwich bread! Fresh and delicious! I ordered the ham, turkey with provolone cheese and it was fresh, flavorful and easy to eat. We stopped here on a road trip. Quality of the sandwiches was great. They piled on the meat. The chicken nuggets on the kids meal were bland, as were the fries. I loved that the chicken nuggets were chunks of chicken, but lacked any seasoning or flavor. We had our toddler with us. There were no high chairs in sight, none were offered, but we didn't ask either. Dining customers can use the restroom. You have to enter the kitchen and go downstairs. There isn't a changing table. While they do have kids food, it's not family friendly for those with young children on a road trip. read more

AMAZING CATERING!!! I flew in for my bridal shower and my sisters had ordered Mish Mosh to cater it. We had a brunch selection of wraps, pastries, orzo salad, charcutterie platted, and caprese salad. The food was delivered perfectly on time and the ladies all LOVED it. The food was beautiful and delicious - no quality was lost at all for it being a large event order - it tasted just as it does when ordered individually! Great find in North Stamford. I hadn't been to this location since it was Post Grocers. The inside of Mish Mosh is nice but limited seating. I had an Italian sandwich on ciabatta. Surprised that they didn't have spicy brown mustard, but the horseradish sauce I requested instead of the oil and vinegar the sandwich came with was tasty. The meats, cheeses and bread were very fresh. Overall, I'd highly recommend Mish Mosh for sandwiches. read more

We were in bumper to bumper traffic needed a bathroom desperately (had my elderly mom with me) and stopped at a gas station and Dunkin' Donuts at same exit and told there was no public bathroom. So our last resort was this pizza place. I offered to buy a soda just so my mom could use the bathroom (had just had lunch an hour back). And guess what? They said "no, only dining in guests". I let her know she was our last resort and she said "sorry there are no public restrooms at this exit". Unbelievable. A young girl. One day she might understand. She'll understand practicing kindness goes a long way in life. That a natural human dilemma that everyone experiences should not be turned away. We will all be there one day. Too bad that the only establishment along the Merritt parkway that has public restrooms is Starbucks. Thank goodness for Starbucks! read more

I stopped at Mish Mosh with my husband and one-year-old for a late lunch while traveling through CT. What an awesome find! Food was delicious and high quality, and awesome customer service. Even though we arrived 10 minutes before closing, they reopened the grill to make two incredible steak and cheese sandwiches. They cut up an apple for our daughter. Then we enjoyed our meal on the table outside the deli. Great selection of side items--had cannoli, caprese salad, and deviled eggs. Look forward to visiting our next time driving through the state. read more

Gluten free and yummy!!! Ok. So the gf pizza is a little small. Aren't they all??? But the crust is amazing!!!! I have been gluten free for 10 plus years (before it was as popular as it is now). This crust and the mozzarella is delicious. It arrived hot and fresh. They also delivered cheez its and vitamin waters for the teenagers at my house. Love that they have everything there for delivery. I have only been to mish mosh a few times but everything I have gotten there is delicious and the service is great. It is a welcome addition to north Stamford and is such an easy access from the Merritt parkway. We Will be making this a regular dinner/lunch/delivery of grocery items option. Yay!!! read more

I ordered a sandwich over the phone, and specifically asked if the sandwich had cheese on it and was told the sandwich does not come with cheese. When I brought the sandwich home, it contained cheese. They did make a new sandwich, but didn't offer anything for my time that was wasted. read more

Terrible service my order took forever and they got the order wrong because the guy was lazy and didn't walk over and ask me my order simply had me shout it across the kitchen maybe if he walked over and wrote it down he would have gotten it right extremely overpriced read more

I often travel by car between Chicago and Boston. 2-day travel puts me in the Harrisburg area visiting relatives the first day. Today was the second leg of one such trip from Chicago and hunger for a late lunch drove me off the Merritt Parkway at the Long Ridge Road exit. Google maps indicated a deli nearby, so I decided to give it a try. Wow! Their sandwiches are unmatched! Great meats (Boar's Head?), bakery-fresh rolls, and a super friendly staff. What's not to like? I had the Italian Combo - #19 - on a Kaiser roll. One bite told me this was MY kind of sandwich! With generous slices of fresh mozzarella cheese and roasted red peppers, this was simply an outstanding lunch item. And it was wrapped in deli paper - not stuffed into a plastic bag that contributes to a soggy sandwich. My sandwich didn't need any lettuce and tomato filler - in fact, there was neither. It was almost too tall to bite into, with all the delicious meats in it. My wife opted for the Turkey Bacon - #22. Her's was thicker than mine. She ate half and declared herself full. (She ate the second half tonight for dinner.) So we had one of their chocolate chip cookies for dessert and got back on the road. Will I make it a point to stop here again? You betcha!!! read more

Mish Mosh has the best pizza in Stamford. We haven't had pizza this good since we moved from New Haven, CT!
