They had a wonderful selection of coffee and all of it was very reasonably priced. The staff was lovely; greeted me immediately and went out of their way to be kind. We found a great table and we were able to play and never felt like we were taking up too much space. Other people found their tables and everybody was very friendly. The decor was funky and just what I want from a café. They had food and pastries that I didn't get a chance to try, but my mocha with oat milk was fantastic. I also wish they had more bagel options available when I went, and I'm personally not a fan of applying my own cream cheese -- part of the bagel experience for me is having it done for you. It also seems like the only add-on option now is cream cheese, which is a little disappointing if you're hoping for a full sandwich or variety. On the plus side, there's parking right outside, which is always appreciated. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just not great either. Far better choice than searching out the nearest Starbucks (hex on that). Unfortunately, it is in a hospital and, if you are going here, you are likely visiting someone who has been admitted. I do, however, like the setup and the fact that it is a mini oasis and escape from otherwise less pleasing endeavors (unless it is to celebrate a new birth). Bon appetite. And take a deep breath.
