Excellent Vietnamese owned donut shop in Murietta, CA. When we stopped in as the nearest store to our Airbnb, the exterior was in turmoil with construction crew noisily working in the parking lot in front. The area was fenced off, but for a narrow lane demarked in orange plastic for determined customers to make their way to the front door. Sure hard to maintain business with all that going on. Despite the obstacle course, the man running the show was cordial and efficient in describing his goodies and bagging our half dozen with tongs. He also tossed in about a dozen glazed holes gratis. Nice touch. The sour cream and large glazed babies were terrific. Just enough firmness to offer light bite resistance and tender innards that tended to melting in the mouth. I didn't care for the small apple fritter as much, as it was light on fruit and heavy on sugar coating. Overall, a very favorable flavorable impression. Far superior to the mass produced alternatives found on every corner. They really didn't miss a thing. read more

They offer your basic flavor of donuts, bear claws, tiger tails, etc. There really isn't much that separates this business from any other except for its very convenient location. My suggestion would be to grab a cup of your favorite morning beverage from the Starbucks next door, then head over to Miss Donuts for a nice chocolate frosted. Its not healthy, but who cares? You'll burn it off eventually right? Or if you're in the area for lunch, grab a bite at Carnitas Express then head to Miss Donut for a dessert kruller. My kids wanted donuts so we stopped before lunch to see if they had any left. Walked in and they had a variety of donuts available. I was surprised since most donut shops sell out by that time. Kids chose one with cereal and one with sprinkles. Shared a chocolate bar with the hubby. Kids thought it was too sweet while we loved the chocolate bar. Didn't taste stale, moist in the middle. These business photos are very misleading. I took some girls at a sleepover to get donuts here after looking at the beautiful business photos. We expected to see cute Donuts that were beautifully decorated.... blue and whites, little grids, polka dots, spiders, etc. Not so. This is a normal donut shop. Nothing cute here. This place is consistently rude to customers oddly. It comes in waves. Some days they're nice, others they only point and won't speak to you. The owner hates any food delivery people and treats them very negatively and or doesn't speak to them and just points (are we in kindergarten? Did people forget that speaking is completely normal) I understand if someone is busy and they can't give the best customer service but come on. I'm in my EARLY 20's and never really made a review cuz it's not really needed. But I literally heard this man say "If people ask me about a delivery for doordash I tell them I didn't do doordash, just Uber eats" when they DO infact do Doordash. It's a very confusing environment and in mostly negative ways. It's been here for years yet you'll notice it's almost always empty... I wonder why... I feel like since covid, people have forgotten what good customer service is. Came here at 8 am on a Saturday and there was already a long line in front of me and a long line that filed in behind me. I think if you're coveting donuts Mom & Pop shops are the way to go. I must say these donuts were the hit of the morning plus I got some fresh coffee... they were delicious and pretty big in size, nothing sets them apart from other donut shops except for the nice designs in bright colors that they have in the display case, they are also conveniently located near the freeway so u can stop off and enjoy some donuts then get right back on, I love yum yum donuts but I think I will stick with miss donuts while I'm living up in murrieta, they are a little pricey but I feel there donuts justify the pricing, if your looking for a quick fix or something light but delicious for breakfast stop in and get a fresh baked croissant and some fresh brewed coffee, it will make your day like it did mine. read more

I've been coming to this donut shop for years. They don't do the fancy expensive crazy donuts... they stick to the classic traditional donuts, which always is on point. They recently got into doing sandwiches, smoothies, milk teas, and boba. Though, I haven't tried any of it yet. The family who owns/runs this place are friendly and get you in and out quickly. The prices are also reasonable. I always get ham, cheese, and jalapeño croissant from here too, which never disappoints.
